Recent Changes to AnimeNfo If you've noticed, we've moved to new servers as of late, hosted by Swift Communcations http://www.swiftco.net If you need any webhosting or dedicated server needs, I'd highly recommend them. They had my servers up within a few hours.
We're now also running off 2 servers, which explains the speed up as of late.
New site layout/updated code coming within the next few weeks (before christmas) and as always our Rizon server is up, if you're using Rizon, please use irc://irc.animenfo.com as a server.

I've heard we've got a new coder, perhaps it's his job, perhaps it's supers'. :-)
Anyway, nicely done. My only complaint is that this sponsorship banners... those starting from Ads by Goooooogle... they are awful. :-(
Compared to everything else on the site, they do not fit. Can we have different banners from sponsors? Is it possible?

Nice, but I'd suggest moving the Google ads below Animeinternational ad. And well maybe put Help and Extra below Search and Home ^^
And I liked the original christmas template more (navigation on right AND left), so maybe two forum templates ~_^

The ads are to help us raise funds, but it's up to supers whether they stay or go.. I will say this though.. I didn't even know we had any such banner.. I had to load the forum in IE in order to view the banner.. I use firefox, and have the adblock extension activated. If it bothers you that much do what I did, but before you go and do something like that you should click it so we get money.. LoL
I'm guessing that I don't see probably even 15% of the internet ads.. I don't even know that they are there.. There isn't a hole where they should be.. They just simply aren't there..
It takes some tweaking with the extension to get it to work the way you want it to, but its not hard at all..

I'm not sure if I should say it here, but there's no layout for "My Anime List" section. It just shows text stuff. Pardon me if I'm wrong...

I really like everything, specially the side bar it's really useful, and the skin is really nice well done, supers
PS: Ok, ok... dunno if this is the right thread, but here I go o3o... I just noticed that the BBCodes for the signature (y'know, profile stuff) are disabled... it is just my imagination, or what ?

I'd go with Barnacle idea on banners: Anime International higher than lower.
Cadd, I also have Firefox, though I haven't got the extension You mentioned. I'll get it though, thanks.
Mr GoodBytes, yes, those BBCodes are disabled, yet they are not. As You see, my sig still contains colours, as it did. Sad thin is, I cannot now change it if I mean to keep those colours and bolded font, I get the invalid signature message.

Recently I'm having more of SQL errors, always msqli_connect function. Usually it takes refresh to work, yet I admit it is tad annoying to do it every 5 minutes.
Also half of December I had this Database is under maintenance, come back later , but I deem it You and Barnacle were revamping the database, or generally working with the site, and it never was real down, it just was appearing more often than usual.

For once I agree with ahp. I really do think it's an unnecessary addition as the latest topics can be seen by using the view posts since last visit option.

I'll second that motion: the view posts since last visit suffices for the active topics part.
Though, as an alternative option, it wouldn't be a bad idea to move the last active topics as a section in the sidebar, so as to minimize it's appearance if you decide to keep it. The way it is now is a bit glaring on the rest of the forum headings.

I do like the update (although I still think the chrsitmas one was the best)
Also is it just me or have the posts per thread limit increased? Because I dont remember one page being so long..

Can we have emo threads with only 10 posts per page?

Don't know if this was the place to say this... but anyways...
After a few months of absence it's really nice to be back and see the nicely improved layout changes of the site. It's quite neat! Great job, people!
