Is there going to be a sequel?Should there even be one? What do you think? I mean, the story is open to be continued.
Do you think that it should be done???

No. The ending that it had was most lovely. It may be sad to some, but it was perfect. What else can they do, make a story of the 4 of them coming back as friends, or um, Narumi having an affair with Haruka? Leave it alone I say. You don't want to mess with such a good story and screw it up with a bad continuation.

No need to because it had everything it needed. SHouldn't be because no other material to base it on and because we've been drawn in by them enough. One day a distributor will have the guts to license it. Just let KGNE speak for itself and show it to others in the meanwhile.

I don't think there should be a sequel. What happened in the last EP pretty much resolved all the issues everyone was involved..
To add a sequel would do more harm than good in my opinion.

Damn! I clicked yes instead of no. Goodness only knows where I was looking.
As for the topic, having just finished watch this series for the first time I can't imgine what they could do a sequel about, assuming they were stupid enough to make one in the first place. The end though kind of sad in a way was absolutely perfect and I can't imagine it ending any other way.

as stated above, the series already had a good ending, and it would be difficult to come with a sequel that was better than original. but maybe additional stuff could be released. dont forget the series are based on a game, and on that game you can take lots of paths, i heard the series are based on mitsuki's path, so maybe they could release some additional episodes following haruka's path or something like that? (this would be a separate discussion topic i guess)

I have to admit that the end was really good and an attempt to be continued would be a disaster. I had a debate with some friends of mine and you just made me some €.Thanks! Now about that game you talked about...Dose anyone know anything? I’m going to make a new topic...

Just like everyone else said, the ending was great just as it is.
Yes, it may be sad to some, but it also makes it more interesting.
I don't think they have any material to make a sequel out of.
Maybe instead of making a sequel, the creators could make another anime.
They are very good writers and create very realistic situations of drama.
I vote no...

There isnt anything to continue... You could go into a story on Akane was it? and maybe check back up on the old main characters.. but really I think it wrapped very well with no loose ends.. Which is more than I can say for A LOT of series..

Same here. I hated the end, because I hated Mitsuki, and loved Haruka. Haruka has such a nice personality, and I love drawing anyways, so I would have chosen Haruka.
It is true that adding a sequel would ruin the anime, but they should make a new anime like this anyway .

Nope. It's over. Ended. Finito. Slut.
Great series while it lasted but don't try to mess it up :p

Supposedly, there is a spin off ... though it is rather old news...

Akane Maniax, like KimiNozo, is based upon the game of the same name. It takes place after the events of KimiNozo during Akane's senior year of high school.
It follows Goda Joji, whom is the super-typical red-blooded male in every anime ever. He has quite an over-active imagination and has an infatuation with Akane and proceeded to propose to her upon meeting her. So as you can see it's far more light-hearted than KimiNozo, good little OVA in itself.
The Mecha falls inline with Goda's imagination, and it all plays out through the episodes as to where it comes from and why it's so prominent
Also, this would mark the midway bridging between KimiNozo and Age's other title, MuvLuv. You're introduced to almost every cast member of MuvLuv in Akane Maniax, so people are currently hoping for a MuvLuv anime series to come about.
As for the poll that this thread revolves around. Sure, it'd be nice, but only if they plan on taking it the way they took KimiNozo Special Fan Disc, other than that, the story is well and complete.

I suppose it's nothing compared to KGNE? If you totally love KGNE, because of the drama, is Akane Maniax worth to watch?

Not at all, there is very little true drama, and none within the same amounts of KimiNozo.
However, don't put it off for that alone, there is some moments that are touching and you get introduced to many new characters and get to see a couple old ones

I'll think about watching it. There are only 3 episodes. And the story sounds good...
