Saw The Hot Chick (starring Rob Schneider) on TV yesterday. Pretty funny, but I doubt it'll be worth a second viewing.

Some of his jokes remind me of Stephen Chow's slapstick. Crude but funny.

Last movie seen was the Exorcism of Emily Rose, my brother picked it up so I decided I might as well. It was better than I had thought.

Oh yeah, I saw Infernal Affairs (a Chinese film) too, a friend recommended it so I bought it and loved it. Has alternate endings and I really prefer the international one.

Part 2 is on the way, or may already be available. Not sure, can't remember.

I hear it will be/is as good as the first.

Definitely one of the rare occasions when a sequel does as well as the first installment.

Internal Affairs is awesome, Andy Lau and Tony Leung are a great duo. Didn't see the 2 and 3 yet.

There will be an american remake this year btw under the name The Departed with Leonardi Di Caprio and Matt Damon in the lead role. That's great <.<

Just saw Transporter 2. I thought it was pretty good. Enjoyably enough. Some parts of this movie just makes me think Jason Stateham is more suited for the role of Agent 47 than Vin Diesel, if they decide to make the movie and cast Vin in it. Oh well, like i said, the movie was good, although they do disregard physics sometimes...

I know the feeling, Australia is pretty much the same or worse at times.

I saw Lord of War starring Nicholas Cage and Ethan Hawk, a film that depicts the life of a gunrunner.

I finally saw Jarhead, didn't really meet my expectations. Very weird movie but the lead role was awesome. The others overacted a bit imo..

All I can say is that you should NOT watch this movie. Even if you really want to, spare yourself and don't go. You will be very upset with yourself if you actually spent money on this movie. I felt the need to warn everyone...

Oh wow, bad idea to start it with me...
Our family is movieholic, every new movie that we want we will get our hands on it...

So I have been watching King Kong, and it was so-sowish..

Also just now we watched The Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants...
Girls movie, so guys dont think about it.... My mother cried for hours!

And I watched Metallica S&M concert on the dvd yesterday.... And it was like, the bbbbbbbbbbbest! I reccomend, although its not a movie, its still a good thing to watch.

Last one I watched was The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. I liked it, thought it was pretty good except that all that smooching for one of the girls was a mite extra. But the story's nice. (:

Ive recently watched and purchased Lost In Translation with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansen. For some reason this movie just pulls me into it everytime I see it (ive rented it before). This movie just has a calming thing about it that makes me love the movie. The music is a huge part of that with it often being played in the background. I also really like seeing Japanese backdrops as they are so mesmerizing to me. The love story is a interesting one but I think it was handled well and was one of my favorite parts of the movie. If you can take a guess this movie has found its way into my top 10 lol.

OK, I watched it just yesterday, its called: An Unfinished Life. Its with Robert Redford, and J.Lo ( Confused ) and Morgan Freeman.. And it was a very good movie, with a nice concpet behind it... Nice concept of how things even bad things have a point to the rest of your life.

Hmm did you see the MTV animation series tho? I mean, the dialouge is weird enough there ... and if its the same in the movie, I will be watching it.

I dunno. I liked the movie.

When I first heard that they were making a movie from this, I was kind of dreading it. I thought that it might not completely suck when I heard about the casting though, at least they got someone who can act in the lead role.

I wasn't expecting brilliant dialogue, the original series wasn't exactly brilliant in that department either. Actually, there's relatively little dialogue in the film anyway.

Overall, I found it worth the watch, and I'll probably pick up a copy from the "previously viewed" section when it's time.

Went to watch Walk The Line with my mum yesterday....

First time I heard of the singer Johnny Cash. Sadly I didn't like the movie, my mum thought it was great though. So did my friend.

I think I'd better stick to watching kid movies like Chicken Little...

Munich was the most recent movie I've watced, I really recommend it to anyone who haven't seen it. It's amazing that Spielberg managed not to take sides, considering the premise of the story.

Watched Lord of War the other night. Pretty decent movie which is not too bad seeing as I don't really like Nic Cage that much.

Watched Firewall with Harrison Ford the other night. I think it was better than I thought it would be, but it wasn't anything amazing. Fairly classic action movie with family abduction.

Was worth it cause Harrison Ford was in it. Laughing

I watched it last night. Thank god, 20 minutes in and i was asleep which i never taught was never going to happen.

Its not just the dialogue that ruins it, it is the fact that it lacks an substancing in its plot and also the fact that it was edited so badly. I'd rather be forced to watch hours of barney than Aeon Flux, at least that edited better.

The last film that watch that i enjoyed would have to be Near Dark, and that was about three weeks ago and i watched about 2 a night since then, but Aeon Flux had to be the worest and that saying something when some where TV movies with a lot lower budgets and didnt star oscar winner but cardboard cutout, on par with keanue.

Just saw The New World and Memoirs of Geisha.

The new world; very long and a bit boring. Not quite what I had expected to be honest. I could well have done without watching it, sadly enough.

Memoirs of a Geisha; everything I expected and more Very Happy Loved it actually. The only flaw was that they didnt speak japanese. It seemed weird having them speak english, and poorly at that.

Saw The Myth from Jackie Chan in a local theatre. I was surprised how different this movie was from JC. He finally showed that he can act. There were of course the usual fight/comedy/jump scenes but his general role was more drama stuff. Shame about the sudden ending but I recommend this for the JC fans.

I just recently seen a movie called Hostel and you know what its crazy, i dont get queezy very easily from movies but the one part of this movie really got to me and the funny part it was the sound tha got to me and where this poor guy was being cut.
Im not gonna say anymore but have any of you seen the movie Hostel before?
Its insane.....haha, I wouldnt say its Scary its just gross I find but interesting.
And as for Aeonflux I think the dialoug was a bit chessy but I think they were trying to get at a comic book kind of style.
I found it worked and I liked the movie I thought it was interesting.

Movies are as great an interest as Anime for me and I watch tons of them, Asian mainly, but most works for me.
The latests movie I watched was a Chinese movie called "The Road Home" or "Wo de fu qin mu qin" if you so prefer. It is a touching movie I can recommend to anyone who does not demand exploding cars or naked flesh to watch a movie.
Lately it has been mostly anime though. Beck, Tsukyomi Moon Phase and Karin.

Yesterday I watched Pink Panter. Steve Martin acted brilliant in this one. The movie itself wasn't bad but I was expecting more of it.

I just watched Wedding Crashers and I must say the plot was a complete cliche and barely made me laugh. I'm starting to wonder how today's movies are beginning to deteriorate in originality and value if any at all. That's why I don't go to the movies anymore.

Watched two rather good movies this evening.

One was a movie from a while back (circa 1994) called "The Professional" (if it's any notation, Natalie Portman was playing the part of a little girl whose family was killed and she enlists the help of an Italian hitman to get revenge. ) Really good movie, with a good combination of sentimental comedy, action/thriller sequences, and drama.

Also watched "Flightplan" with Jodie Foster. Rather good for a recent movie, imho. That movie actually surprised me in how good it was presented and played out in its progression.

I may watch "North Country" tonight in addition to a few anime episodes depending on how willing I am to stay up for a little while. I'll probably watch quite a few movies tomorrow as well (considering I have quite a bit to catch up with Smile)
