Interesting topic, though. Hmm...

Definitely Tuxedo Mask/Moonlight Knight from the Sailor Moon seasons. Reason being he always showed up to save Sailor Moon in the nick of time. Classically romantic, I guess you could say.

Zero from Code Geass is slowly working his way up my favorites list as well. I think it's pretty cool how he can mobilize his resistance against the Britannian government. Not to mention the guy under the mask is very cool.

Larva from Vampire Princess Miyu, definitely, probably the first time I learned of the definition of bishounen. XD I think since VPM was one of the first OVA series I watched (and one of the TV series I rather liked), that's why his character stands out in my mind.

Those are ones off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are many more.

I'd put their identities, but I think for one of them, he doesn't really have an alternate identity (Larva).

Title of Anime: Sailor Moon

Name of Character: Tuxedo Kamen/Tuxedo Mask

Reason: Before getting the shaft writing wise, Tuxedo Mask was a very brave character who had varying powers, but had the ability to bring battles to a stop just by throwing roses into the ground. He also swung a mean battle staff. Finally he at times could throw a barrage of roses which were quite explosive. He looked kinda silly but made up for it with fighting prowess. The guy really knew how to make an entrance.
