Sequel or movie?
There has been roumor going around that there is going to be a new Trigun release this year in Japan. It's going to be called Trigun X, romour has it that it will be a movie based on the the Trigun manga: Trigun Maximum, others have put out that there will be a whole new movie that follows where the origanal series left off.
This is what Wikipedia had to say on the matter:

"Trigun X is an animated movie based on the series Trigun. It is expected to be released in Japan in 2007. It is being produced by Madhouse, the same company that created the anime. There is much speculation on whether it will be a sequel to the anime series or whether it will be an adaptation of the manga, kind of equivalent to the Hellsing OVAs. Fan speculation seems to be leaning more towards a sequel because only one movie/volume was ever announced and it seems highly unlikely that one movie can fit the whole Trigun story."

Personally, I want to see a sequel, I want to see how Knives turns out and if Vash and Millie get together

I was actually hopin that people would give their opinions to the thought of the prospect of a Trigun Movie, after all, Trigun was totally awsome.

 I would prefer a sequel, as I really liked the series and want to see what happens with Knives. I doubt Vash gets with Milly, that will almost definately not happen. Is there any more news on this?

 Where did u heard the news? If it between movie or serie i will go to serie, the old serie leave me unsatifying with the end. I also want to how knives end up.

there is not a new series, sorry, however, if your unsatisfied by the current series then there is good news, they are making a movie to cap off the origanal series, i haven't been able to find any new information recently but do feel free to browse the net yourself and then share with the group (I've tried wikipedia and a basic google search, not sure where else to look)

oh, and i didnt mean milly before, i got mixed up, its been a while since i watched the series
