Watched GTO 1-6 ....I have never had fun before watching this anime..teacher Banzai!Onizuka'santics when he turns up doing the unexpected things deviating from the normal course of action is plain hilarious. The whole school setup, the characters are all important in making this an enjoyable anime..can't wait for more!
Finally caught onto Bleach 1-2 ....looks good lets see how this turns out to be....It may surprass Naruto later on..in terms of story and action...Ichiro is cool in his Shingami avatar.[/b]

Elfen Lied: Eps 10-13.
Ugh. What complete and utter trash. The only saving grace of this series, IMHO, is the animation. I'm actually going to delete it from my HDD. Not even worth keeping I hated it so much. I only finished it cause I was afraid it'd be like hearing a song you hate on the radio and getting it stuck in your head if you don't listen to the whole thing. Least that's what happens to me.
Anywho, I moved on to watch...
Blood: The Last Vampire.
I honestly think I liked this more than I normally would as I watched it immediately after finishing Elfen Lied to get the "horrible taste out of my mouth." Of course I only watched this really because I was planning on moving on to...
Blood+: Eps 1-3.
Rather interesting, I must admit. I hope that they won't completely drop Kai and Riku as characters as the series progresses. I'm a bit interested in Kai as a character.

Watched episodes 1-11 of WitchBlade finding it to be enjoyable even though it is pretty much created for pure fanservice since there are no more subbed episodes a;; there is to do is wait for Funi DVDs.

lol, you found Elfen Lied that crap? But yeah it is not that great anyway, it purposely makes the shock factor so high making us believe that it is good. But yeah, I found it fun when I watched first around an year and a half back or so (cause I was new into anime back then).
*******
KOR 28-30 : yep, this is deviating from the main characters. 28 dealt with Manami, 29 with Jingoro and 30 with Kurumi. All were nice but it hardly compares to the original triangle. Looks like that this 'fun' instead of romance is set to continue in the further episodes. Which would call for me to take the series a bit slow from here on...
Lets see now - I might start a rewatch of Crest of the Stars now. Or perhaps Night Head Genesis...

I was thinking of dropping Venus vs Virus. I've got up to ep 9 (started losing interest about ep 6). However, since it's only 3 more eps, I think I'll just finish it up.
Ep 14 of Black Cat.
Not watching much anime at the moment as I'm trying to finish this PS2 game which I bought in '04 and still hadn't cleared. It's just interesting enough to bug me.

Finally watched episode 3 of Romeo X Juliet , totally in love with this series..
Also watched the first 2 episodes of Kaze no stigma , not quite sure on this one. Seems average at the most at the moment. The first 3 episodes of Shining Tears Cross Wind typical series to be able to watch in boredom, however at the moment not very good. Hitohira episode 4 was quite good, this series seems to be going quite unoticed. Also watched episode 3 of Lucky Star series seems total nonsense to me... [/b]

Saw 7-9 of GTO ..its getting better..IMO i have not had fun watching any series before since FMP!Fumoffu...its plain hilarious and introduction of new characters and how the rowdy students are gradually falling into line thanks to Onizuka's not so conventional methods in teaching them lessons....
Watched Bleach till episode 3..well it is going to be another epic series by the look of it and considering 122 episodes are already out and the manga is still continuing...only anyone in their wildest of imagination would hope this series is going to end soon..but due to its popularity and the fact that it has to rival that of Naruto...I feel this would go on for now....

Blood+ ~ 32: Meh, I kinda figured what Saya is before any explanations were given. If anybody said this is the thing that kept them going, it wasn't much of a plot twist. It would have been more amusing for Saya to have more "friends" like Haji, since that's the only reason she is losing. I got bored watching all these explanations and flashbacks though. And the fact that the head enemy is an idiot doesn't help matters much.
Da Capo 1-26: It was a promising series, until they ended on that sh*tty note. I don't know which one I hate more, Nemu or Sakura. I would have preferred Mako, Kotori or Moe, and dump those 2. They are perfect for each other.
Claymore 2-3: Interesting...., what's with the extremely fast expositions..? Are they trying too hard to make us more sympathetic towards the 2 mains? The kid is getting annoying though.
Ikkitousen-Dragon's Destiny 4: Meh, 2 air head giant breasted girls Combine! They will defeat anything!!
Murder Princess 1: The action is a bit low budgeted, but it's great! A damsel that kicks ass!

Murder Princess 1
Cant wailt till the next ep. There is a 1 month gap between 1 and 2, and i dont hope it will continue like that :S.
Monster Princess 1 and 2
Watched it to kill some time and suprisingly i didnt thought it was to bad, but it wasnt good either...liked it tbh.
Darker than BLACK 3
This show has to make me forget Code Geass but from what i've seen so far its not nearly as good as Code Geass. Both shows have different genres but i expected alot from this show, as much as i did for code geass. I'm disappointed so far, but i think it will go uphill in the next episode after watching the preview.
Lucky Star 2
Lol this show reminds me of Ichigo Mashimaro, and i liked the latter one more. That doesnt mean i hate this show...its very good aswell.
Kaze no Stigma 1
This show seems rather interesting, still not clear what actually has happened in this ep, but i'm going to rewatch it to be sure about some stuff. From a guy that doesnt like to rewatch anime episodes in 24h, rewatching Kaze no Stigma 1 says alot about the show.
Hayate no Gotoku 1-3
Funny show to watch with Mask the Money to the resque xD!
Monster 1-16
Good show, really good imho. Dnno why i didnt start with it sooner.
Ikkitousen 1-5
Uhm...ok.. this show is about showing boobs while fighting with a some last minute story? Dont think the story is that well and dont expect to much from the remaining eps either...will finish it though cause i dont like to leave anime unfinished unless its called Azumanga Daioh :blegh:

@ShinEvilRyu
Monster is an amazing anime with a powerful storyline....It starts off gradually then picks up the pace..continue watching it you would not be able to leave it till the mystery is solved....well all i can say is that there is more to the story than meets the eye...its a bit complex...but you can understand it though...and Johann is amazing in his role....reminded me of Hannibal Lecter

Sola 3- Good episode, nothing spectacular though.
Nagasarete Airantou 3- Ah, I wish I was on that island
Seto No Hanayome 1- I found it hilarious, absolutely hilarious to me
Eyeshield 53-68: That Poseidon game was intense. This next game should be more intense though
Off to watch Hayate no Gotoku! 4, Nana 39, and, saving the best for last, Nodame Cantabile 12

Nana 39- This series is just fantastic, plain and simple
Hayate no Gotoku! 4- Haha, another funny episode

Black Cat is decent. Worth watching once, it seems. Very unlikely that I'll rerun it though. I'm more likely to rerun Erementar Gerad than this.
On topic:
Ep 4 Hayate no Gotoku - It's not as fun as the preceding 3 eps, but still very good. Did anyone spot the RK parody? I couldn't believe my ears. One thing I noticed since the start, the characters' facial expressions change frequently and quickly. If you're too caught up reading the subtitles, you could easily miss them.
Ep 3 Sola.
Ep 1-2 Lucky Star. Whatever. Dropping this.
Ep 10-13 Canvas 2.

Finished Shounen Onmyouji ...this show doesnt seem all that special, yet I still like it, perhaps its my weakness against anything that has onmyoujis , but besides that, the spells and chants were interesting, background music was pretty good too

Hayate no Gotoku Ep 4. More cute girls! Yay! This series is showing some promise. Yay for high definition source available.
Seven of Seven Eps 1-5. I saw the description for this, and decided to check it out. It's got cuteness factor. Nana gets to be all of the character types for a harem all by ... herselves.

Please refrain from Major Spoilers like that! That could have ruined the fight for me if I didn't see it! Cover your spoilers!
Anyway,
Blood+ 32-36: That's an interesting plot twist, but Saya reluctance to make more "friends" is annoying me. I guess they want the other side to feel even more hopelessness than it already is.
Hayate no Gotoku 1-2: Amusing. I thought my parents were bad...
Gallery Fake 6: YES! Someone else is subbing this!
Himawari 5-6: ..., I kinda get it now, but the characters are too weird for me to get INto it.
Kindaichi 1-10: YES! Someone else picked up this sub! Ah.., classic mystery like this brings a tear to my old eyes.

Watched episode 1 of Romeo and Juliet. Curiosity killed me
Probably one of the best "first" episodes I've seen this year, if not the best, but I can't say much else following the first episode-I'm not going to overhype it: it's definitely good, but I want to see how it pans out a little more. If GONZO keeps in the tradition of taking on classic literature with a different spin (a la Gankutsuou), it should be a great one in the making. I'm definitely blogging this once enough of the episodes come out to reflect upon it. For now, it'll be on hiatus.
On an aside note, I thought the adaptation of William Shakespeare's character (aka "Willy") was worth a bit of humor. As well, the last scene of the episode was especially sweet, and I loved the animation of that moment.
I'll take back something I said a bit earlier....the ending theme really isn't that bad, it's caught along to me after a few listens. I think the poor quality YouTube version didn't really give me a good bearing on it.

Ghost Hunt(er) 1-25: I watched this in one shot. That's how much appeal this show has for me. This is way better than some of the other horror mystery crap running around lately. 8 hours straight..., I need sleep.

Yeah, that was a good one.
Ep 16-19 of Black Cat. The fight scenes here are some of the most horribly chaotic that I've ever seen on anime. Instead of showing everything happening in sequence, they'd start at point C, proceed to point D, flashback to point A, show point D again, flashback to point A... All in a couple of minutes. And they've got this interesting (in other words, eye/brain-searing) use of colours just as bad as, maybe worse than, Tsukuyome. I totally can't figure out what happened when Number 1 confronted Creed.

Watched GTO 14-18 ....It sgetting better as it progresses with the introduction of more characters some of them being weird others being sadistic or cruel like Urumi...but Onizuka just stands out in how he manages to come out of each situation triumphant....cracking the national exam despite being injured mortally....so for now on it will be more GTO then will pick up FMA and Bleach[/list]

KOR 31-37 - Good progress of romance during 2 episodes in this batch. The perverted-robo-kyosuke was a riot! Still mantaining the fun factor but there is a hint of what is going to come next. Unfortunately. I wasn't able to able to wtach the 37th episode completely - the file was corrupt after 19:35 >.<

Perverted robo what?! Images of Mecha-Tama and Keitaro of Love Hina flits through my mind. Evidently, KOR isn't as serious as I thought it would be.
Needless to say, I have a very low opinion of the crap that is Love Hina.
On topic:
Black Cat ep 20. What's with the weird colour tones? *sigh* I wish they would stop doing that. After the build up until the big battle in ep 19, do they really think they can build up the story again in order to climax in the last ep (ep 23)?
Shining Tears x Wind ep 3. Nice, but the duels between those two guys weren't handled well. Awkward, short, generally unsatisfying. I'm not expecting RK-like multi-ep battles, but Utawarerumono is clear proof that it's possible to do it in short and satisfying.
Nodame Cantabile ep 12 & 13. I had reservations about subs by a group calling themselves not-soft-not-straight, but it seemed decent. After all, I am starved of new eps.
RomeoxJuliet ep 3. Rerun actually, with subtitles this time. After that, I caught ep 4 raw. Another ep which ended at a suspenseful moment. Actually, those of you who can muster the patience should probably wait until all the eps are available. I'm nearing tearing my hair out in frustration. That said, this ep was quite mellow.

Seven of Seven Episodes 11-14. 3 disks down, 2 to go.
In these episodes, there's a lot of English. I know it's not supposed to all be so funny, but it really is. Having Japanese seiyuu playing American characters... I do have to give them credit that I've heard many a Japanese native here that isn't nearly so fluent in English, but it's still quite amusing to hear.
Add in the rest of the jokes that are supposed to be funny, and I had a very entertaining evening.

Needless to say, I have a very low opinion of the crap that is Love Hina.
lol, KOR is not at all serious. They're all one-shot takes on Kyosuke screwing up or getting into a fix between the two females. On tat note it has become a bit repetative now, it doesn't have that charm as it had in the first 15-20 episodes (or it could be because I'm seeing it at a rate much faster than I should :p)

Recently watched
DEATH NOTE episode 28: Decent episode, I am too biased a Death Note fan to say more though.
Romeo x Juliet episode 4: Still very much liking this series, my favourite one this season. It is definately going to be longer than 6 episodes, I am going to guess about 24-26 from the recent dvd announcement on Romeo x Juliet OHP. Which in brief says, that the first japanese release of the dvd is released 7/27 and in total there will be 8 dvds. This I will definately be buying
Darker than BLACK episode 4: My second favourite of this season, however is turning out to be more violent than I originally thought. Not a bad thing though, a good episode.
I watched others as well but those are the ones that stay in my mind.

Well, since I was watching Ghost Hunt (SPR), I thought I would get a theme going for now.
So-
Hell Teacher Nube 1-5: Surprisingly ecchi...., this wasn't how I imagined it.
Black Blood Brothers 1-12end: Too much information...., too short to cover it properly. I like it though.
Hayate no Gotoku 3 : It's starting to get interesting.
Claymore 4 : What's up with this? Is this going to be another 12 eps show?
Blood + 36-end: It ended much better than I thought. It's not a big happy ending. The action and watching some of the characters actually develop somewhat was more interesting than some crap mystery plot line. I believe the central theme wasn't some special mystery or what not, it's a battle between 2 lines, "Take me with you", and "Live." It's a much more grown up show than some of the usual shouen anime stuff, but a woman's struggle is probably not as exciting as a man is. That's why there is all this talk about it.

Watched Claymore Episode 4, and Ghost Hunt , about halfway through now. The latter was one that I've been meaning to finish for a while now.

@Roy Brewer..
well eureka 7 was slow to start of with but once it developed and moved forward it was quite a good anime though not great..highlight of the anime the beautifully etched out romance between Eureka and Renton.
Finished GTO till the end...and i must say tbh I have never been so impressed with a series before until I watched GTO.The sheer fun and the entertainment it offered with Onizuka doing the honours of giving us rib crackingly hilarious stuff! His antics, his making weird faces, his innuendoes at dirty humor, his coming up triumphant when you least expected him to and his getting things sorted out in his unorthodox manner just stand out to make this really enjoyable, not to forget the side characters all seem to set into their roles perfectly,at times irritating like Miyabi. The only complaint I would have is that the anime ended so abruptly!I wished it had more episodes or a second season.
Watched few Bleach epsidoes just started with it and the premise looks good with a great deal of action and more characters coming up.I heard as many as 60 odd characters are going to come up,well its an ongoing series so can take time and watch them.
Looking to see FMA next, already read the mng anad it was fabulous, hope the anime si equally good.

Seven of Seven Eps 15-22.
It's not a brilliant story, but it's amusing. It's got some good comedy.
The only problem is... it looks like there are 6 DVDs, and I was only able to get 5. There's 4 more episodes (I think), and I don't have them. This is going to make me crazy. There were only 5 on the shelf at the video place, and it's in the "older anime" section, so I don't expect that they're getting more of it. CRAP!

Finished KOR : This was a very good ending. One of the best romantic endings I've seen. must have seen the last 2 episodes 3 times already!!! But I am surprised to see how the couple gets away with it. I was hoping for a bit more on the triangle front... Looking forward to the two movies. I think i'll give myself a break from the series for a few days.
Saw FMP! TSR OVA - this was a blast!
Also started of with Night Head Genesis 1-8 -Either they have some very good secrets hidden up their sleeves because 1/3 of the series is over and no answers have been given. I like the pacing though, feels like a noirish detective story with paranormal powers.

Black Cat ep 21 - end. An okay series overall.
Venus vs Virus ep 10 - end. WTH!? I know that anime don't always have happy endings, but is rather extreme, isn't it?
Mariasama ga Miteru - Haru ep 1 - 3.

That's what I thought. XD Bad enough what happened in episode 11, but episode 12 just decided to go in that direction. In a way, I think it was a bit of a rushed to finish ending (i.e. cop-out). Ah well.

No new anime series for me, mostly rewatches, and I'm moving on to episode 11 of Nodame Cantabile. I'm probably not moving to that until tomorrow afternoon, but we'll see.
