naruto shippuden every 2 weeks now? i watch the japanese version of naruto shippuden on a weekly basis but recently its turned into a 2 weekly thing, its anoying because Bleach has done the same... that means my 2 weeklys are now two 2 weeklys so i get bored on one of the weeks when i have nothing to do on thursday and friday, is there an explination for this change

I cannot think of any explanation but one thing I am sure if it is going to be bi-weekly based it would take a very long time for the anime to catch up with the manga which is miles ahead of the anime.There is no point even now to follow the anime since it is so lagging behind and more so when the manga is at a very crucial junctre,a major fight is about to end and it is between a certain fellow whose powers have increased ten fold and is also the leader of a gang.To come to that stage the anime followers would have to wait for 1 yr or maybe 2 years who knows!For the time being it is manga for me..

Popular anime broadcasted in prime time (19:00 – 20:00), such as Naruto, Inuyasa etc., are often canceled by the special programs, especially baseball games. The beginning of April to the beginning of October is baseball season in Japan. Also, they often broadcast other programs during the yearend and long vacation seasons.

In terms of revenue, they probably make more off airing an episode of Naruto than a Pokemon movie. Besides, I do think Pokemon is inferior to Naruto.

Argh! I've never really followed an anime before on BT (I have done on TV), and it's painful, so slow. I'll be retired before they finish!
