It's not streaming properly over the wireless network at McDonald's. Dang. Keeps buffering. I'll watch it tonight over my broadband network at home. The music doesn't sound all that nice though, but I've only heard the first 10 seconds or so. Kinda techno.

You need to have a high speed broadband connection to view the streaming properly. The CGI graphics look awesome with some cool action scenes, though I cannot make a call on this as I haven't seen the first Appleseed movie.Well for the benefit of those whose streaming is not working here is the YouTube version of the same:

Looks pretty good. If it follows closely to the story in the manga, I'll be really happy. That final scene on the trailer looked like an adaption from the ending of the first chapter from the manga.
Graphics-wise, I still dislike Deunan's streaky hair. As for the action, some of it looks too Matrix-ish.

I read that John Woo's name appears in the credits.
Also, that it will air in Japan on Oct 20th. Hope that date hasn't changed.

WTF! Appleseed is ruined. Mr. Woo has his hands in too many things. No discredit to him, but I don't like his style.
