 QUESTION ABOUT SHIKI *game spoiler warning*

Game spoiler? There were two different storylines involved at this point. In one version, Shiki used his sight to see the contamination in his blood, and then used his knife to 'kill' the contamination.

In the other version, Shiki was protected by Akiha. As you may recall, Akiha is sharing her life force with Shiki. This relationship apparently provides some resistance against the contamination.

As for the dreams, it was just coincidence.

One thing which bugs me: Who turned Yumizuka into a vampire in the first place?

the only vampire around was Roa/SHIKI
my guess is that one of Roa's minions attacked her and Yumizuka was one of the few who was able to become a vampire


well, when i asked the questions i stated above, i never really got far with game yet


apparently, Akiha wasn't able to protect Shiki from being possessed by Roa, or even by being contaminated by Arcueid's blood... i think...

one thing that bugs me is Roa/SHIKI himself
with the Moon Route, his mind was able to mature and he became Roa
while the other, he was incomplete and remained as an insane SHIKI
my guess is that Kohaku might've been responsible

perhaps the dreams weren't a coincidence either... i could only think of Kohaku being partly responsible... since she could manipulate SHIKI

There is also Chaos. He's also a vampire. There are inconsistencies in the game. In the Arceuid and Ciel routes, vampires are easily created. In the Akiha, Hisei and Kohaku routes, it's rare for people to become vampires.

Furthermore, in the Arceuid route, it is explained that the victims of vampires first rise as zombies, and that it takes a long time before they can become vampires. But when you play the Akiha/Hisei/Kohaku routes, Yumizuka became a vampire in one day.

Finally, I don't recall anything about Roa possessing Shiki.

in the lowest form, vampires would start out as ghouls, without intelligence and would only have an incomplete body...
when ghouls eat enough flesh to complete their bodies, they would become zombies
and when zombies finally acquire intelligence, they become full vampires
i could only assume that Yumizuka retained both her body and her intelligence when she was attacked and that she is one of the few who can easily become vampires


Shiki did get possessed by Roa in the Ciel route
i'm not sure if it's his Nanaya blood or Roa's influence but he did gain vampiric strength and agility after being possessed by Roa... plus, he has somehow become a little bit intolerant of the sunlight... so maybe Shiki did become a vampire for a while
