Air Gear - Season II?

 it sucks Crying or Very sad
I mean they leave such an opening and there is definitely room for more,
I mean what happens with genesis?, do they make it to the top of trophaium?. its so unfair, sure you can read the manga but its not the same as watching the anime. Crying or Very sad

ive read a lot of the manga and there are so many great bits that would be great to see in action.
i love air gear, its one of my favourite animes and so it upsets me that they are not making season 2, because just from reading the manga i can see that there is so much potential for more, also there are some great battles. another difference between the manga and anime, something i thought was very important, is the music. when i watch an anime the music sets the mood for me, it almost like lets me know how to feel at a particular part in the anime ( i know that probably sounds weird) but i mean in a manga all you can do is read it, there is no music to set the mood of the situation.
what i want to know is if it got popular now, is there any chance they would consider making a second season? or is there no hope for that at all? i know of other animes that has been cut short because it wasnt to popular but i say its unfair to those who truly love and enjoy it. i understand that for people that create the animes its important for them to make money from their creations, and i understand that wont happen if its not popular. however i dont see any reason that they cant make it now when there are more people who love it.

anyway i know as much as i rant it wont make any difference.

 Air Gear Season II
I just finished watching this Series and It was really fun! This Series really had a good balance between humor, action and umm...well, ACTION (if you know what I mean, wink wink, lol).

But it was all in good fun, and really one of the only anime of this genre that I've been able to get into. I'm saddened because alot of the good series are being dropped. While everyone seems to be watching Naruto and Bleach (which are full of action and in no way the worst anime that I've seen) they seem to pull people way from Anime that could grow to some length if it were supported.

Anyway, I don't mean to go on a tangent, but there is more to this story and it should be told. I really dislike getting into a thinkening plot and having it die. Like I said, I just finished watching it, but as soon as I figure out who was responsible for coming up with this story, I'm going to send them messeges of support, and it would be cool if the other people who read this also showed their love and desire of this series to those who make it happen. I just can have all my series die when they get to the best part, It's driving me insane!

 I wish they had another season
I really like this anime I mean i love it so much im building my Own pair of Air trek and OMG ITS HARD A **** the ring motors Burn out WAY TO FAST the power system only lasts for you dont even wont to know... But i must say if i had 1mill i could build the Perfect pair. Start a shop that sells them and spread the joy of Air gear. i have dreams about when i build these skates but so far its Very hard and not going anywhere i need Strong motors and better batters and Super powerful dynamos. i love Rollerblading and this is why i wish i could get these to work. O and im making them Just like the ones in the anime but i dont think i can skate up walls..... *evil grin* yet

NOOO!!! we need another Air Gear season that ending for the first one sucked balls! lol I thought the anime was going to be dumb but I actually loved the whole thing. Especially watching Agito haha I love that dude and I want to see what happens to everyone else in the story? I mean come on! Is Ikki the effin Sky King? Whats going to happen between Genesis and Sleeping Forest? Whose going to win!? What the hecks going to happen next for crying out loud! They left a total cliffhanger as the ending episode WTF!?

WELL....sadly i understand EXACTLY what you are talking about. just kidding not sadly, but seriously i do understand the whole music fits/makes the mood thoery i thought i was the only who liked that part but i guess not! Smile well that goes to show great minds think alike lol i really loved the anime to i WANT THAT SECOND SEASON! Very Happy

 First thing I have to say is that I REALLY love air gear but I don't know of anyone that would comment on a discussion about trying to get a second season so maybe that is a given Very Happy

Second about the hole grayed out "MOVIE" button on the air gear website i believe that it is a ploy to try and give people hope that there will be more air gear coming out so they can make more of a profit but don't intend to actually create anymore which dose make me very sad Crying or Very sad i don't have any proof of this it is just theory but when you think about it do you think that with all of the deep plot already in play can they wrap up the hole story line with just roughly 90min without just saying he gives up lets all just ride and be happy "that would piss a lot of people off but at the same time make a lot of those fuzzy loving people happy but o not me lol" but there is still hope that if a lot of people do start getting into air gear more then they might make another season

Third i agree that music is a very important part of any show be it animated or not it just emphasizes every emotion that they intend to be experienced "or tells those who cannot figure it out, what to feel"

Lastly i may be talking "typing" with a calm demeanor but inside i know that if they do not come out with more air gear i am going to go INSANE

 Air Gear - Season ll?
All you air gear fans should atleast sign or make a pertition because there thinking of not making season 2 because there wasnt that big of a comotoin when i first came out so until we do something it might just stay like that. so come on guys if you have been following the manga you should all know its getting great better and better so lets start typing writing whatever way you want to release your bird with a note around its claw if you have to just lets make them know that your willing to surport them with this anime

 Sorry to bust your bubble, but how is that going to work? How many signatures on the petition is enough? 5000? 10000? How is that going to justify the cost of producing a new season? And what of the original source material? Do they write a totally new script for the anime? I don't know about the manga, whether it's ongoing or completed, or if there even is a manga. But fact remains, they probably think it's either not a commercially viable project. Or they don't have material to work on. Or that they have already conclusiuvely finished the story and will not make a new season.

 I need to buy some AIR GEAR
in hopes of a season II
Well as you can tell by my user name that somewhere down the road of watching AIR GEAR I got hooked. Normally when I watch a new Anime I watch one to two episodes a week, but this show was so good that I needed to keep watching. I finished all 25 in two days and I am a really busy person so I had to stay up late watching it. Well, I would start with one episode and then found myself watching more and more and more till the late hours of the night.

So in order to get a season II I think I got a plan:

1) Sign a Free petition (done)
2) Buy more Air Gear stuff
3) Tell friends about Air Gear
4) Buy more Air Gear stuff
5) and to change it up Buy more Air Gear stuff

As you can see I think that in order for season two to be even considered I agree that we need to buy more Air Gear Stuff. A company needs to know they are going to make a profit before they can even consider to hire staff to start a project.

If we have any hope, this is it! So join with me and BUY MORE AIR GEAR STUFF!

btw i did make this username to share this with yall, more than likely i will not contribute any more posts, I just think this show needs more episodes. I feel like i just broke up with a girl, but its AIR GEAR, and I am looking for some closure. hmmm how strange, do you feel the same?

 This is all vary disappointing
No season two
I just got done watching this anime and I am so hungry for more. The characters are great and I love the story line, even if the censor crow needed to go no mater how cute it was. I will have to say the little back and forth between Ikki and Akito got my yoai fantasy's going. Akito is just to yummy for words even if he is completely out of his mind. He about made me fall out of my char when he was asking Ikki to put it in his mouth. (keep thinking I would so like to put something into that pretty mouth of his.) Anyways I have been hearing a lot of chatter about this show, so maybe if there is enough interest drummed up between now and the time they make enough manga chapters maybe we will see a season two.

Well here is hoping anyways. I don't really read manga but I may just have to, at the vary lest to see more of that pretty Akito boi.

 well i agree about getting a second season of air gear and when i google for air gear season 2 and it show wikipedia and said,

"Both the anime and manga have gained a lot of popularity, both in the east and the west, now have quite a large fan base.
BlogCritics said "It mixes this action and comedy quite well with a storyline that doesn't fail to leave a reader wanting more.".

 I effin love Air Gear. I want season 2. But it probabbly won't happen I just want atleast 1 more ep to tie all the loose ends.

Its not like anyone is breaking any real laws, now i understand that people need to have the common courtesy and not post anything bad or obscene. Which is why i have yet to cuss. I could have responded to your post with a lengthy one of my own, but I've decided it's not worth my time. What you make of me, whether you think I'm an idiot or an arsehole, makes little difference to me.

I've just stated the facts of the situation. Whether an anime gets made depends very much on the financial viability. No production company is in the business to lose money purely for the sake of entertaining the wishes of a few fans.

You'll just have to live with the ugly truth of this business.

Much as I'd hope for a new season to Ai Yori Aoshi or any one of my favorites, if it's not going to happen, it's not going to happen. So what do i do? I live with it. And you call someone who pointed out the truth silly names? Well, suit yourself. As if I care.

Look folks, Air Gear seems to be a show that many people are passionate about, and I can appreciate that.

I'd love to continue seeing people discussing the possibility about a second season, but the manner some people are acting on here, more recently with the douchebag I just had to ban is starting to get ridiculous. Please, keep it civil and don't spam.

 Go Read the manga series....(tough its still on going and not finish)it has 266 -267 chapters including the season 2 im just waitng for the newest chapter.......note: from the anime.....there are alot of cut scenes...so i recomend you to read it!!......

  Air Gear, hope y'all get to read this before its to late
Everyone buy the newer remade Air Gear: Complete Series coming out 5-25-10
This message is to all my fellow and new Storm Riders, I agree with every one of y'all, we need to have OH! GREAT! make a second season of Air Gear but my personal opinion about this is I do not think they mind doing a second season if they have the support ya know and if we all give them that support they will understand that we would like a second or even third season or however many seasons if take for Ikki and his team Kogarasumaru to climb the top of Tropaeum. I will have to say that I am pretty confident that or dream for a season II is probably well in the makes and it will totally be made because if y’all think about it the manga Is still going, its around trick 270 I believe or episodes 270 what ever y’all wanna call it, so it would only make since to make a second season ya know. Think about it if it took them 103 episodes or tricks or chapters or whatever we want to call it, to make season I then it would only be normal to make season II with episode 104-207.
So I believe that there will definitely be a season II and when the manga series ends that will give them a better idea on how many seasons to make right. I found out some great news even though I’m sure that every one has the Air Gear: Complete Box Set, I now I do lol, but on May 25, 2010 they are releasing Air Gear: The Complete Series now it is only the first 25 tricks but maybe this a test for us Air Gear lovers to show our support towards Air Gear and also for Funimation as well as OH! Great. Even though we already have the first 25 tricks I think we should all save up if we can and buy this remade and probably better quality new series. Now like every one else I want to see a movie ya know like season II lol I do enjoy reading them but if your like me sometimes you don’t have enough patients to read or just maybe you can not read all that well no insults at all I totally understand cause I sometimes have trouble reading sometimes or let alone saying the words right ya know. I would love to sea a season II or III or heck maybe even IV lol.
So I say we wait a little longer and try to save up money to buy the Air Gear: Complete Series on May 25, 2010 what do y’all say. Now, I hope I do not get in trouble for this cause I’m not trying to advertise for any of these websites or places at all I just want to let y’all know where you can find them at,(Amazon.com Bestbuy.com Best Buy Store any place that sells anime DVD’s Target possibly the official websites that support air gear and other places that we all know that will be or think will be selling them), kinda new at this whole blog thing and topic discussion this is actually my very first discussion I have ever talked about lol I guess you can kinda say I really do like Air Gear a lot and I just hope they make a season II heck and if they do I would buy it also and if they made a season III or IV.

its what you all been waiting for!
i just checked today and found a interesting video on youtube. it seems like a trailer with a release date or something, im not Japanese so i couldn't read it but the comments and the clips shown is pretty much what's happening in the manga, so im certain that a second season is coming soon. il add the link so you can all check it out. spread the word boys n girls! our prayers have been answered! haha!! please spread the word!

 I just want to point out to the two admins/mods of this particular topic that your methods here aren't really....mature.

There is no need to publicly post to responses to embarrass said people, that's why PM exists.

Mods can simply edit posts, replacing the offending lines or links with your own 'friendly' message to remind them of offenses will be enough.

Discretion is more than enough for others to realise what you're doing and actually appreciate you for doing the right thing without making a show of it.

As for posting, whilst your comments are more down to earth facts of the way this world works and the way the economy runs. It still isn't necessary to actually go around 'bursting' other's bubbles like that. There is ignorance, and there is longing, many here long for season 2, and it's what keeps people coming back here to post and read what others say because they all share that common feeling. Or most of them anyway. So going out of your way to 'burst' other's bubble isn't really nice, I am not surprised with the rather negative comments aimed at the admin/mod here.

At the rate you're going in here, it is no surprise some people come in and purposefully flood this topic and aggravate you.

Ok. First of all I'd just like to say I'm new to the whole forum thing. Second, all this talk about Air Gear being made into a movie, an OVA, or season 2 is awesome, but the most important thing to me is, will it be dubbed?

about my previous post. im not completely sure its part of another season or if its just an OVA but either way to anybody who did not know about it check it out and to anybody that already knew and finds what i posted incorrect i apologize

edit: well its official..... i feel really stupid right about now. its not a season two. just 3 ova's. i feel pretty dumb. im enjoying them. but i still feel really dumb for being so excited and it blowing up and turning out to just be the ova's. they were released between 2010 and 2011. enjoy everybody. and once again i apologize

 Ninja you cannot post links to anime's on this forum. Unless it is by the actual company that holds the rights to the show. Funimation or Kodansha. All other forms of it, are illegal. Please also do no quadruple post. I have deleted the other 3 and combined the 2 legal ones into one post.

 Air Gear Season 2 Concerns

Hey guys, I'm sure we can all agree the anime is amazing. I've been reading the manga, and I can honestly say that the manga is SICK!!! The fights, plot twists, newly formed relationships, and even the sad events would be AMAZING to see in an animated adaptation! If you guys love the anime as much as I do, and want them to make a season 2, you should goto http://www.txhd.co.jp/en/contact/# and tell them how much you want them to make a season 2!!! I've been hitting them up constantly! And just so you all know, the first season of Family Guy didn't go to well because not too many people liked it...but after awhile the show started to get attention...which is happening with Air Gear. When it comes to shows, they need people to show that they enjoy it, or they won't continue to make episodes. As you can see, Family Guy is on their what, 7th season? Send Tv Tokyo an email and tell them how much you want them to make a season 2!!!
