I want an iphone, but they're so expensive here...
At best I'd have to pay $720 and have some insane phone usage bills for 12 months, or pay $2000 and not have to pay to use the phone...

I don't like using my cellphone as a music player. It kills the battery.

It's funny how people are talking about convergent devices, like having everything in one machine, and here were have people who want separate things to perform separate functions. My PSP is my MP3 player, game console, and in a pinch my "thumb drive" (pretty big and fat thumb there).

lol. Maybe I'm just weird. For me there are a lot of disadvantages on using the cellphone as a music player.

For me, it should work just fine, except I hate having to bring 2 different sets of earphones (the other's for the PSP) out with me. So the phone stays being just that, a phone.

I want a new pet cat...a orange one. I miss my old cat. And I really have to stop getting random stray cats and bringing them home.

@angel - lucky youuuuu! My parents would kill me if I brought home a random stray cat. It's the cat or me. And I choose me lolll. That said, I did have cats before but theres a story behind that. The cat came to our house and snuck around and had kittens and then died so we had to raise the kittens or else they'd die without their mommy. So... yeah. But most died and then later on we left them with my neighbours when we moved...

lol bring them in....but within a day my parents take them out...and I get in trouble. =_=...they don't mind if it's clean and not from the streets.
Awwww...!!! soo sad...but at least they were left at a home :3
I really love cats tho...if I could I would try to take in as much as I could....I used to dream of having dozens of cats when I was little. Then when I grew older...I realized...do I want to be known as the crazy lonely lady with cats?

Stray cats come to our house without me bringing them. And I have two puppies, that don't look like puppies no more. They dig in the lawn. They ruin anything they find. They chewed on my favorite sneakers. They jump on me whenever I go out and come home. But I still love them very much. Especially when they kiss/lick me.
My dream: Not to fail any subject this semester, which is getting harder and harder to achieve.

Strange, I'm not British and yet that's one of my dreams too. Not the biggest of course (I have other priorities) but it's certainly one of my dreams. They've been left behind at the sidelines for too long.

Let's see, I've been lurking for a while now and figured I should post some of my dreams:
1) I will have at least one dog and one cat someday. The dog will be a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the cat will be a Birman/RagDoll/Himalayan that may or may not be a Scottish-fold.
2) I will have a great job someday. I just need to find out what it is.
3) I'm gonna be filthy rich so I can travel everywhere and build a mansion where one room is the almost exact replica of my college dorm room. xD And of course I'll have the scarlet room, golden room, beach room, underwater room, garden room, baby room (blue for boy, purple for girl, and then green for either/or), etc. etc.
4) I'm going to get super skinny hopefully by my 20s. I'm exercising and trying to cut back on eating unhealthy foods now so that I can reach my goal/dream then.
5) I am going to get a runner's high somehow, someway or another, as I have never experienced one before.
6) I'm going to buy a beach-front apartment/condo/house one day for my mom and dad to repay what they have done for me.
And that's all I can think of for now.

I can help fulfill your Wish No. 1. Well, partly anyway. I've almost had it with my friend's dog. Yeah, I still consider him my friend's dog. Not mine. He's not toilet-trained, as I mentioned before, and it's making my life hell. You want to take him? Or I can turn him over to my friend's mom.

No not now. My dorm prohibits pets.

Well.....if it's about a dream that won't become reality.......i would like to own a country(not rule it like a president but own it)
And my possible dream would be to open a japanesse themed bar(i didn't decide if it will be a maid caffe or a normal bar but it will certainly be japanesse themed)

I'd like to see Singaporeans actually do something about the environment... Reduce energy wastage and be more environmentally conscious. Stop them from littering when there are bins just 10 steps away. Stop wasting paper, recycle it! Reuse plastic bags instead of throwing them away. That sort of thing. I think that would be really nice.
My big dream would be to get Singaporeans to do more about global warming, climate change and the like. ^^ Such as capital punishment to every idiot who throws a perfectly good piece of paper with only one line written on it!!! (Just joking...) And make all students trying to get rid of their notes recycle them instead of throwing them away!!!!
Smaller dreams: Get an NDS. Pass econs. >< Get back on the math dean's list! Do something about my chronic must-use-smiley-face-or-lol problem when chatting.

I think we have bigger problems than just people slowly killing the environment. I have a feeling General Elections' coming up pretty soon. Yes, you've heard it from me right here. Not that it concerns anyone else apart from the few Singaporeans roaming in here like you, me, Amaryllis and perhaps jsy3k. Not sure if you're voting age yet. Maybe you already are. You've been away from here so long I can barely remember you.
But yes, you did raise some concerns that I share, just that they're further back in my mind than other more pressing concerns. I'm still not happy with the way most Singaporeans behave. Like they've said (and rightly so), we're a people of first world economic status behaving like a herd of third worlders. I just wished our people would be more gracious. I think when we've achieved that, eco-consciousness would naturally follow.
I'm afraid, right now, being eco-conscious is more a "trendy" thing than naturally ingrained. Once they find something else to be intrested in, some other trend to pursue, eco-consciousness goes out the back door.
Sad, isn't it?

Nope I'm not of voting age yet. I agree that we could work on being more gracious. Some of these people have no civic-mindedness. They don't move to the center of the train or to the back of the bus even though lots of people are still trying to squeeze in.
Lol, I think being trendy is over-rated. If people will only do the right thing because it's in style, there's something majorly wrong with this world.

Problem is, it is being trendy. So much so that being labelled "Green" is already out of style and motor manufacturers have started to label their products "Blue" instead. Merc's AdBlue. VW's Blue Motion. Whatever. It's still the same thing to me.
That's why, to me, there IS something majorly wrong with the people in this world. But coming back to my concerns, I think it's still more important to take care of the bread-&-butter issues. I volunteer on the ground and have seen first-hand how badly affected the lower-income group have been by the financial crisis. Some due to circumstances, some due to their own negligence. When times are good, they spend every dollar, thinking their pay cheque is secure. No prudence, no planning. Yes, I am angry with these people. They're using up very limited welfare resources. But they do have hungry children to feed, and that is something I cannot ignore.

Ever since I started watching Iron Chef America on the Food Network, I've had this dream: One day, I want to eat Iron Chef Morimoto's food. xD
That's one more dream to add to my list.
Oh and I suppose another dream on my list is to actually get through my list of anime, movies, and shows I need to watch. Like that is happening any time soon.

@Shimizu
Didn't you just enter a new college? Maybe that was someone else on the randomness thread... Idk, I'm too lazy to check.
____________
I was looking through here and saw my old dreams. Since I realized that #1 on that list is actually somewhat attainable, I've decided to make #1 a little less attainable. xD
1) I want to have my own petting zoo one day. xD It will have exclusively baby animals. It will be like a baby animal daycare whereupon I will send the babies to the national zoos or release them to the wild when they're ready. This is my idea of a cuteness-filled retirement. I will keep the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and munchkin scottish fold rag doll/birman though.
Everything else on that list could be attainable... in centuries perhaps. Who knows, maybe I will get filthy stinking rich and get most of that list done in my lifetime.

Ooohhh. I wanna visit you're petting zoo. Make sure to get some baby pandas for me. ^_^
I want to take my mom to Sagada (where ever that is). She's always wanted to go there. My older brother promised to take her to Jollibee Hong Kong when we were still young and that still hasn't happened.

What baby animal petting zoo would be complete without baby pandas?! <3
Oooh, instead of stuffed animals, I'll give my kids baby harp seals to glomp when they go to sleep. xDDD

Congrats! I tried convincing my parents to let me learn Japanese, but it was a no go. They tell me to learn Spanish because it is much more useful, but even then they don't want me to learn it in school or in summer school. So... how the heck am I even supposed to learn Spanish besides hoping I'm saying the right thing from the English-Spanish dictionary???
So yeah, another dream to tack on
7) I want to become fluent in Spanish and Japanese.
And I figured this won't happen soon but,
8 ) I want a PS3 or a PSP. This is less attainable because I know it will consume a lot of my time, and because PC games like Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 take precedence.

I want a certain person to tell me he loves me. Not that I love him too. He's my frienemy and we usually fight because of our pride and egos, and him falling in love with me would be a great victory.
Like that would ever happen. My dreams really are out of this world.

After eight classes with a brilliant prof, I want to do a Ph.D now! But am really scared when I talked to him who told how the next four years would be if I actually take it up.
Though he continued to stress that it is a very rewarding career if one hits it off.
