Love Hina Episode/OVA/Specials order I've just got up to episode 23 of Love Hina, and before I get onto watching the end I want to know if I need to watch the rest of it in any particular order.
I have the last 3 episodes, along with Christmas Special, Spring Special and the Selection Movie. Should I:
Watch 24,25,26
Then watch the Xmas Special
Then watch the Spring Special
Then watch the movie
and then is that the lot? Are there any more?

I was going to say something about the time stamp, but considering this is an anime sub-forum, we usually let it slide.
In any case, I do believe Asura was referencing the OVAs as 'the movie'. There is no 'movie'. The order I believe is:
Love Hina series (26 episodes)
Winter Special
Spring Special
Love Hina Again (OVAs, 3 of them)
So yea, no movie.

Man the OVAs were horrible.
If you really like the anime, don't watch Love Hina again: its stupid, short, and adds nothing new (nothing interesting anyway).
Love Hina Again = Marketing trick to appeal to the hormone controlled Japanese (not only) teenage boys.

I dunno. I didn't think they were great or anything, but they were worth watching. If you're a big fan of Love Hina, then why not?
And I do believe it add some new, interesting stuff:
SPOILER
Spoiler wrote: The OVAs see Naru actually confess her love and finally bring an end to the question of "willl they get together?" In the series and even in the winter special, she just says she really cares for Keitaro and wants to be with him. But it wasn't until the OVAs that she actually professes her love and moves on her feelings. This is brought about, of course, by the presence of competition.

The Love Hine "collection" was certainly enjoyable, but I agree it wasn't anything groundbreaking. And I was content leaving it like that... Until I read the Manga.
10 times better.
I have now idea why they decided to jack the series around like that so much from it's original source.
SPOLIER!:
Spoiler wrote: The Manga ends with Keitaro marrying Naru. And in classic Keitaro fasion, he screws up. :p

I know this thread is 4 months old, but hey, I can do whatever I want, jk. The real reason for this revival is that I just finished reading the Manga, and spent some time putting the episodes and events into correct order. So, here you go!

So, basically the Manga covers much more, as expected, than the anime does. The anime is almost exactly the same, aside from the order of lesser events. Basically, there are key points in the manga, and the anime follows those. The side stories and things going on in between are shuffled around a bit, and the anime even has some things different and a few stories of it's own (hence some episodes weren't placed above).
Overall, I think if you should watch the first 6 episodes in order, then 7-17 in just about any order you like, X-mas Special, Spring Special, then 18-25 in order, and then finally Love Hina Again.
I think that's the best possible chronology I can come up with after reading the manga.
It was released in the order I have from the post from months ago, so it could be watched that way anyway, but to follow the manga I've posted the new list for anyone interested.

Well if you've watched the anime and you really can't be bothered to read the entire manga, would it be recommended to start reading from volume 13, or even volume 7?
Also, if it's not too much trouble, is there anyway you can make that list a bit easier on the eyes?

If you have watched the series and want to know what happens, then read from volume 12 or 13 on. If you havent seen it in awhile then i would suggest reading 12 first because it is basically Love Hina Again, with some different scenes. But at the end of 12 is the
Quote: Keitarou and Naru kiss .
So You wouldnt miss anything by starting at 13.

You are correct, there are only 25 episodes. My mistake for mentioning 26 above, it was a typo. So yea, only 25 episodes,

LOL! its cool, no worries, you just really freak me out, I thought I missed an episode and was, like I said, freaked out XD
Anyway, regarding episode 25, I think it was a good move not releasing it on TV, since it really doesnt add anything more to the series, and although its a fun episode, they should have included it much earlier in the anime, since really, episode 24 wraps it up, and the specials and OVAs complet it : P
