Why does Cran's last hint bring that scene from Galaxy Quest to mind with the "Aw now that just ain't right..."
Been many a year since I've played an RPG.

Because both involve tentacles! Although Lovecraft's creature includes "gelatinous mass extruding golden tentacles", "a large bloated tentacled humanoid who eats brains", "putrid, living fog", "bluish, red-veined jellyfish-like creature", "bloated, batlike creature with a single, burning, three-lobed burning eye which appears able to kill by fear alone", etc etc.
Not that I'm a Lovecraftian fan. This is all stuff I found on wiki.
Anyway, Mauve's turn.

I wonder if there are any RPG gamers here who get the reference.
I got the reference, lol.
Sorry, haven't been on recently, but dropped back to see if I could get one, and then disappear off into the nebula and let someone else post a pic, but no such luck b/c IDK who that is.

I tried to word the hints so that somebody who had actually watched the show would have a good chance of getting it, but so it wouldn't be too easy to just find the character or show in a search. I guess nobody here has actually watched it. That was Quote: Titaniva Mu Koshoigaya from Plastic Little

I'm not sure anybody else still cares about this game, since I left that image up for a week and nobody even posted a message to complain about the lack of hints. In case anybody does care, that was Quote: Priss S Asagiri from Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040

Yeah interest seems pretty lacking.
I should have recognised her, but I've been busy of late.
This place is generally pretty quiet in summertime, but this year more so than I'd have expected.

That one is more obscure than I realized - even though it had an ADV preview, it isn't listed on Wikipedia and AnimeNfo's database doesn't list the characters for it (and ANN is down today). That one was Quote: Akari Toki from The Samurai
I will try to make sure my future images are from series I've actually watched.
Here's a replacement image, which I'm hoping won't be impossible:

Character on the left is the female lead character, (Doesn't matter, if you can name her, for that matter.)

You might want to spoiler-tag your hint there, Supra. I feel like I might have watched the show this came from, but I can't place it right now.

Actually, a little while after I'd posted my previous message, I found the girl on the left, and figured out the girl on the right from there, so I can answer this one:
Quote: The girl on the right is Chihaya Suzuhara, on the left is Kazuki Arisaka, both from Tonagura.
Edit: added anime identification. Silly me to forget that part. Thanks for reminding me, cranston.

I figured that it was a vague enough hint. Whatever. Mauve's got it.
Quote: Hint was intended to be that she speaks with a Kansai dialect.

The size of the eyes, low on the face... Yeah, the loliness is fairly apparent.
The accusation and pupils made me think of Quote: Ryuugu rena from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
but the hair and eye colour don't quite match up, so I've got no confidence in that guess.
