Steve Jobs is dead So yeah I just turned the tv on and it was on.
History of the guy. I was never an Iphone or Mac guy, as I really felt it wasn't as good as people made it up to be. He did however set many trends that people were intrigued by, and still are apart of. He was a brilliant guy, and I have a lot of respect for him.

So passes a legend. Don't care much for Iphone or Mac myself (I'd die for an Ipad which could be folded and put in my pocket though), but that the fact is that they are revolutionary. But for me, he has my respect for starting up Apple way back when. Congratulations Steve, your name will live on.

I have to agree, I'm not an apple person myself as I think they are highley over rated and just "dumbed down computers" if you will but I have a massive respect for all that Jobs achieved and how as has been said he revolutionized the world.

You don't have to be an Apple devotee (and I'm not) to realise the impact that Steve Jobs has had over the last 30 odd years. An immensely gifted individual who will be missed.

I'm not a mac person (never could make the switch in terms of interface, except I'd be the first to admit that Apple's iOS is prettier and easier to use, it's just I'm not used to it) because I can't stand bad hardware, but I still use the iphone, ipad, itouch, ipod, etc. I guess it's because unlike all the other smart phones and mp3s I've used, these seem to be the most widespread (so I can actually find the apps and stuff I want) and the most customizable (especially when jailbroken ).
But yeah, I only found out through facebook. IDK why but I didn't see the news at all until someone posted a photo of Steve Jobs' head in the Apple logo. And then someone commented RIP Steve Jobs so...

hmmm, i'm not a mac guy or a windows guy
but i've used both enough to know both their quirks/advantages
(i just use windows predominantly cause it supports most games lol)
i feel pretty indifferent to steve jobs himself, but i guess i like him due to the help he's given pixar XD
