I think I saw that one available for the DSi. Has some Disney characters guest starring in it. Could be wrong, since I'm not known for having a good memory. Let me know if the game is nice. I might want to get it.

No you're right. Kingdom Hearts is essentially based on a little boy traveling to different Disney movies and meeting Disney characters, so yeah, it would have Disney characters.

While that game isn't bad I would not recommend it to you Ken. You would need to play Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II (both for PS2) first.
As for those games. They are good, I do recommend them. And I would recommend 358/2 Days if you had played those.
The first Kingdom Hearts is very much like Shiru described. You go to different worlds meeting different Disney characters in search of your lost girlfriend.
The second takes place over a year later. This one is more serious than the first one. It involves new villains. You visit the same places, with the same goal in mind, while battling new enemies, as well as old. It has new stylish game play and the main characters voice has dropped an octave. Overall lots better than the first.
If you want a suggestion from me, play Kingdom Hearts II if you only want to play one of them. It is the best of the series.

Ah, too bad. I don't have a PS2, and I don't intend to get one. I'll skip this game then. The package artwork looked nice so I was kinda interested. But I think I'll pass. Thanks for the info.

I pre-ordered Bayonetta for the PS3. Played the demo when it was first released and instantly fell in love.

What's this game like? Nice?
According to some of the reviews, it is RPG with some resort-handling things. I am not so sure on how the game is played until I got the game. The thing is I ordered this as I am a fan of Atelier series. I will let you know how the game is after I got it sometimes this week =)

I picked up Spyborgs used from my local blockbuster. It was on sale, and I heard some good things about it.

I found a link that'll let me buy Galactic Civilizations I: Ultimate edition (original and expansion) for .99 cents from Impulse, Stardocks digital distribution client.
I don't know how long this coupon is valid for but I got it, and if you're a fan of turn based games like Civilization or Master or Orion, 99 cents is a steal.

1) Bayonetta
2) White Knight Chronicles
3) Atelier Rorona
4) God of War III
5) Final Fantasy XIII

It's making you overspend? Or have you gone over the limit already and now that the sale is on, you can't buy anything?
I've recently been buying only NDS games. I think I've not mentioned this here yet, but I recently bought Rune Factory 2 and something else I can't remember. Those were for myself. Aoi-chan bought some other stuff I don't know. Which doesn't really matter because they'll probably be stuff like cooking games. I may occassionally find myself bored enough to try Cooking Mama, but it's not something I'd want to play long term.

Forgot to mention this from the games you're playing thread, but I'm currently getting Mass Effect 1. Sims 2 is done.

Mass Effect is supposedly a real gem, but I haven't played it yet. I intent to get it once it's dropped to the 10€ range because right now I'm a bit tight money-wise.

It is. Graphics are awesome. Mass Effect 2 is said to be even better.

Get mass effect fnord from steam today!! it's 4.99 US only for today so it must be el cheapo in euro.

The massacre on my credit card nicknamed "The Steam Holiday Sale" is finally over.
After the dust settled and cleared, I ended up getting:
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition
Penumbra Collectors Pack
Crysis Complete Edition
Shattered Horizon
Sid Meier's Civilization IV The Complete Edition
Torchlight (Purchased for a friend as a Christmas gift)
King's Bounty: Armored Princess
Chains
RIP Trilogy
World In Conflict: Complete
Shadowgrounds Survivor and Shadowgrounds
Time Gentlemen, Please! Double Pack
I don't think I've ever bought this many games in such a short time span (most of these were 1 day sales that occurred during the sale period), but the prices were so low (.99 cents for a couple of games, 9.99 for Kings Bounty which just came out and sells for 40 dollars here, Sid Meier's Civ IV complete for just over 13 dollars), that it was hard to not buy on impulse. The sales were just STUPID.
Looks like I'm good on games for a while, or until the next Steam sale, you rotten bastards!

@Stick - Not a bad purchasing spree, I'd say.

Mass Effect is actually really, really good. My only criticism is that the action aspect of the game is somewhat lacking. The plot and graphics are amazing. The seamless conversations and cinematics make it almost like watching a movie. I could use a slightly better control of my weapons, but all in all it's not meant to be a shooter or anything and it's really just a minor drawback. I can see why it was awarded game of the year by many reviewers.
Anyway, on topic, I just purchased Army of Two: 40 Days... not really satisfied with it that much, Mass Effect is much better, haha.

lol torchlight when i played it was kinda stupid (still fun though)
that is, if you were the ranged character, you were pretty much unstoppable
but i'm pretty sure they made a patch fixing this...

Just pre-ordered Star Trek online, and hopefully if all goes well, I should be getting the early start witch means I can start tomorrow
but they still haven't put Romulans on yet.
Wow I just realise how geeky that sounded lol

I really don't like instances and never got enough time to play the BETA but a few of my gamer mates have played it and they seem to like it, but that being said they don't like FFXI and you do so I don't know who to believe
I'll just have to play it and see, but thus far no MMO has come close to FFXI.

well, I love FFXI, and I love Guildwars which is practically all instancing.
I don't mind the instancing other than meeting people in space dock or in warp, since I don't need to deal with the people, but some people thought the MMO was going to be some vast huge ass world similar to EVE.
I love the space combat portion, but I'm not a fan of the ground combat as it does seem a bit clunky.
Although I don't know if I see this being a replacement for FFXI I can see myself trying to get that higher tier ship.
I'm actually thinking of getting a lifetime subscription, but i'm always reminded of what happened to those people who took the lifetime sub for hellgate, only to have it blow up in their face (sorry, herpea lol).

Oh I just bought GTA San Andreas. Got it for 5 bucks. I'm debating whether to send it as a present to my brother or if I should keep it, play it myself, and then give it to him as a 'used' gift. xD

Is anyone getting Napoleon Total War?
I have pre-ordered it but from the video's it looks a bit to Pro-French , a lot of people I know that play the Total Wars arn't getting it because they feel let down by Empire. I'm just hoping that it's going to be a refined version of Empire.

Given that it's Napoleon, the French will probably be overpowered compared to their neighbours.

Wow, it's been a while since I posted in this thread on an actual purchase.
Ever since the disaster on my wallet known as the "Steam Holiday Sale", I've been trying to cut down on my spending habits, and so far i've been doing pretty good.
I did however pick up the Commandos Pack from Steam last week. It was on sale for 5 dollars, and for that price, being able to get 4 games? It wasn't a hard choice.

Picked up my pre-order for Record of Argarest War for the Xbox 360. For those of you who heard about it, yes, it's *that* version.
I bought it purely as a collectors item, but this is not what I expected. For one thing, the box is way bigger than I thought it was, and it thanks to its size, it sticks out big time (that's what she said........ DAMNIT).
I can't even put the thing on my shelf, it's just too embarrassing. Funny thing is, someone told me the game itself isn't even that risque. But the box-art has so much sexual innuendo going on it that it's in a storage box now. Apparently Gamestop, the chain I bought it from circulated a memo to their stores to not display the actual box anywhere in the store because of what's on it, and to keep it inside their display shelf at all times. Only if a customer asks if they have it can they acknowledge that they have it. Guess they don't want younger children looking at it.
I haven't bothered to open it in case I change my mind and decide to return it. Plus I hear it might not be so limited, so it might still be available later on, and at a cheaper price.
I also preordered Sin & Punishment 2 for the Wii. I haven't played 1, but I hear it's made by treasure so I'm pretty sure I would like it.

I "bought" Dragon Age: Origins recently and also finished it several times. I'm currently playing Battlefield 2142 online, a game I bought for real two years ago. I'm thinking about getting Starcraft 2 for real again because downloading a copy would be too buggy and I want to enjoy it. I will also get Battlefield Bad Company 2 when I can so I can play that online too.
As for the Transformers game, I watched some game play on youtube and it pretty bad. I'd have more fun playing Mario . I also bought Eve Online, Warhammer Online and Dark Age of Camelot. But those are online games so I don't know if they count.

Well, I returned Agarest War yesterday. The packaging is just too retarded to keep in the house, and I'm never going to use any of the items. I picked up 3d dot game heroes for the ps3 as well as Deadly premonition for the 360 and pocketed the difference.
bought an xbox 1 for 10 bucks too. Came with the cables as well as a controller. Even got a second one thrown in. Now, I can play my copies of Otogi 1 and 2 which I've had for a while now.
Finally, I snagged a copy of Bionic Commando for the 360 for 7 dollars. It's sorta sad that it's become this cheap but my wallet isn't complaining.

The joys of living in the west. In this country, it'll never be less than 100 local currency.

Just bought myself left 4 dead 2 from steam.
We bought 4 key "gift" pack with my friends, looking foward to play this game with them after we get it downloaded and installed.
I have played left 4 dead 1 before, it was hella fun at lan-party and online.
