As far as I know, the license of Elfen Lied manga hasn’t been acquired by a US distributer yet ( I don’t know if it is acquired by other counties), which means you can’t get official English translated manga.

The scantalations are still in progress - that is all I can tell you. You have the latest chapter scantalated - you will now have to wait. Animenfo rules state that members CANNOT ask for download links for any manga/anime series. So in the future - please avoid asking such questions...

well... to buy pretty much ANY mangas, you should look in bookstores, preferably Barnes & Nobel because they have a great selection on mangas, and they should most definitly have Elfen Lied there. At all the ones that I've gone to, they've all had them... there's also online stores that you can go to to buy them (but i'm pretty sure that i'm not alowed to even MENTION any places where you can buy things, but that's a great place to go to also...)

Nah! You are allowed to mention links of websites which are selling the manga/anime/whatever as long as it is legal (refer to the FAQ of the forums for more). However fansubs (which are not legal) are not allowed. btw, Elfen Lied manga has not been licensed in the US as of now. In fact the only place where the manga is avaliable legally is Japan. Scantalations are available but only upto volume 9 as of now.

oh okay, i guess i kinda get a bit pananoid with rules on websites becasue i get so freked out because i don't like getting suspended and stuff like that... i had no idea that it wasn't licensed yet in the US, but i don't get it why i can buy them at stores if it's not yet licensed...

Dudes you can't be serious. It's stupid to make manga ilegal. I live in canada and my whole software is ilegal and you're talkin' about some manga thats rediculous. There must be a place where they sell them legal or otherwise.

I wasn't even aware that Elfen Lied was available in manga form at all.
Is it a long series, or short like the anime?
I really loved this anime...*tear*

The manga came before the anime and its already concluded. It goes further than the anime, and apparently, and like it seems costumary, the story from the anime actually diverts from that of the manga.
Here is a link

Apparently the 10th volume was released recently, but I don't know whether I want to read it. Because as of this point, from what I've been told on other forums
Quote: Lucy ends killing just about everyone but Kouta after he doesn't forgive her
Which is why sometimes the anime version can improve on a manga. I just wouldn't want to read the Elfen Lied manga if that is what happens. It just seems pointless and cruel.
