I've got to say that it's just too bad that piece of crap had to be Raul Julia's final film...
Cardcaptor Sakura - which I actually enjoyed. Most of the genre however just doesn't appeal.

Pity. It was more a parody than a serious film, and I absolutely loved how the main characters were played larger than life (see entry on Large Ham in tvtropes site), especially Bison and Guile. The part where Bison was ranting about his "Pax Bisonicus" is especially memorable.

That's correct, Shiru. Has anyone else ever wondered about the tech dissonance in this show? The UN Spacy has some incredibly hi-tech stuff, but the lifestyle of people living in Japan don't look much different from modern day.

Actually, I think you're right. He seemed somewhat familiar to me as well but I couldn't place him for the same reason you mentioned.
