| | Yakumo Fujii is a Tokyo teenager with a busy life âEschoolwork, his job as a cross-dressing waiter, and hanging out with his friends. Then he meets Pai, a cute girl with a strange accent and a surprising secret: She's the last of a race of powerful, three-eyed immortals, and she tells Yakumo that his long-lost explorer father's dying wish was that he help her achieve her lifelong dream of becoming human. Yakumo is less than enthusiastic about helping her, but when a tragic accident turns him into her invulnerable undead slave, he realizes he doesn't have much of a choice. Their search for the secret that will turn them both human takes them to far-flung, exotic locales, introduces them to new friends and monstrous enemies... and lands them in a whole lot of trouble!
