| A very entertaining show with good music and likable characters. The main songs are played a bit much, but it's ok, watching the girls acheive their dreams is both fun and heartwarming. There's a nice little story weaved here, though it was kind of easy to see where it was headed from early on.

| A surprisingly good anime, Chance Pop Session is about three girls- Akari, Yuki, and Nozomi- who aspire to become singers.
With many chance encounters and coincidences, the story isn't really anything to blow your socks off. Like the reviewer below me has stated, everything is almost ridiculously predictable. Unless you're a complete dolt, you'll have the story figured out by the first few episodes. Despite that though, the anime is still a relatively decent watch. The characters, however, leave something to be desired.
Akari, Yuki, and Nozomi, though having different backgrounds, have very similar personalities. There's just nothing special about the three other than the fact that they like to sing. All three of them are the generic cheery, bouncy girls who can do no wrong. There is definitely nothing memorable about the three leads, but two of the characters, Reika and Kisaragi were pretty fleshed out. Though neither of them have much screen time, they did have interesting back-stories, which were revealed in episodes eleven and twelve.
There's only one real complaint I have about this anime: the mini music videos. Being that this is anime about music, I expected something like this. However, the third time it happened, I started to get annoyed. Every time afterwards, I was very irked. The tenth episode was practically a music video; there was actually not much dialogue. I think, instead of using so many videos, it would have been better to use actual interaction between the characters.
Other than the shameless predictability and the annoying mini videos, this is a relatively good watch. If you have nothing better to do, give it a try.

| story is lame, you pretty much figure out the rest of the story after the first few eps. EVERYTHING, i mean EVERYTHING is predictable. animation is alright, the mouth and the dancing scene annoyed me, especially the dancing part. you would normally expect the sounds to be better for a show like this, but they repete the same songs over and over and over and sounded exactly the same each time. putting a brighter smile on the face while the characters sing doesn't mean they sound better that's what they are trying fool us. The ED is really good tho. so recommendation is download the ED, dont' watch the show. it's a waste of time.

| This isn't the best anime out there, but its a lot better than some I've seen. The music to this anime is great. I love all the songs. In some episodes they have like music videos about the girls thoughts and stuff. It's pretty cool. This anime is pretty good. It had some really nice parts to it. It's basically about one family reuniting by fate and music. Plus its about how a band's path to stardom and all the problems that go along the way & such. I wish this show was a bit longer though :/. It was lacking something...

| It's not yet another idol singing anime, in fact it's a very nice anime which few people actually got to watch.
Even though it's already licensed...
A shoujo anime about girls trying to overcome the hardships to realize their dreams to become singers. Enjoyable and really good jpop songs to listen to.
Music/shoujo fans should NOT miss this
one. :)

| Man this is a hard title to review. Not because it's bad, but it's hard to realy put into words what the show is like or who would like it.
It's genre-crossing and not just for young girls, although it was probably targed to pre-teen\teenage girls. It's got some idol singing stuff, pulling through hardship, family stuff, and alot of suprises.
Not one of ADV's better known titles, but it's worth checking out if you dont mind taking a chance. It just might put some warmth in your heart.

| Words can't describe how beautiful and fun this show is. It's a nice blend of idol singing (a~la Legendary Idol Eriko) and following your dreams. Sounds corny, and it was at first, but then at the second disc the problems you would expect with the show turn out to be pros! The animation, while obviously low budget, is still very plesant. The sound and music is just excellent, and the seiyuu work magic. I especially love Kouda Mariko as Reika. The characters is another thing that makes this show worthwhile. I love this show so much.

| Wow this series is good! At the beginnig I was anxious because of the art which was special, different from the other anime but you get quickly accustomed. I thought that it was a story only of girls who wanted to be stars but actually it hides a deeper and sadder story (I even cried at the very end). And I don't need to say that the music is great ! A series which deserve a better recognition.

| Chance Triangle Session is another case of a good series brought down by a number of flaws. The biggest being it's less then stellar animation, second only to it's predictable plot. With those two issues aside i found the series to be fairly enjoyable. Lots of feel good moments and a number of good japanese pop songs in background. Fans of music/idol anime will want to check this one out, but aside from it's genre based uniqueness on the R1 market this series does little to truly stand out from the crowd.
