| I modify this review since now I've watched all episodes and have a better view of the series. Now I can be more objective and judge the series better abandoning (sadly) all sort of nostalgia which may have given this some extra points. Or hasnt it? Lets see. But nevertheless this is and remains a classic.
I had read some manga volumes too (they were OK) but the anime suffices for me. The manga doesnt have that funny voice of the panda anyway...

| great anime! very sad yet wonderful. there is a little of everything. it is a long very long anime but it wish it would continue. It is a drama tragedy comedy and more. the sound is intriguingly good. I saw the whole anime in spanish when I was little. How come nobody has funsub this title? How come it is not available in the US? There is just so much in this anime. Character development is perfect. There a lot of stories. Some parts are just so sad while others are happy. the music has a major role on this anime. the personality of Candy who does not give up even when everything is horrible. Highly recommended anime. I just wish more people would see it and for more people to share their thoughts on this excellent piece of anime.
