| This should go to the guiness book because if the anime is a crap the manga is ultra crap.
For mesure how crap this is you need to make a fusion between all the characters in this trilogy.
In the manga you never watch a single training of the characters a lot of things are strange and very confuse.
Nobody understands WTF Ten Shin han Yamcha Chaoz or Piccolo were doing in kaioh kingdom because they never used kaioh Ken a technique used previously by goku for beat vegeta and abble to increase your power hand to hand 4 times and energeticaly 20 times, the creator simply never explains WHy but the answer is obvious if they used kaioh ken they could compete with sayans and like a good fanatic that couldn t happen.
2-Again nobody fucking understand WHY for the fight against cyborgs Ten Shin who previously trained with kami sama never used the time chamber to beat c-19 and for a guy where the training was everything he never used that and then why he never stops his training, if of a normal way is much more difficult to stay stronger he could use also the gravity room but he never did it this is such a contradiction.
The flaws are always enormous but the truth is Toriyama never allowed his team work and let them improve the story with the right decisions and become this a decent story the guy wanted to finish this in namek with goku's death but if the intention was that why Tenshin han or Yamcha didn t fight in namek against the Ginew force,ridiculous.
The action is short and to imagine how fast food this story is imagine yourself in the russian montain and then jump to the ground.
finally,the daizenshuu 7 is a book where toriyama try to corrects some lame things he forced his team to do.
He explains finally Ten Shin han was an alien a Triclop warrior and that was the reason he said krilin was the strongest human because yamcha left his training which means in the previous sagas krilin always was the weakest guy,but be careful some ignorant fanatics like a dumb moron guy with the nickname of duo will try to fool you with his stupid stated power levels and lies don t buy it ex. against raditz ten shin had 329 units and not 250 like the ignorant bastard always says,krilin 206 and yamcha 250.
The guy is all bullshit and lies hopefully i have some japanese friends who translate me the daizenshuu 7 made by toei animation and toriyama where they explain everything including the fact of Ten shin han be an alien and in the final saga he surpassed Piccolo who left the trainings.
Anyway if you can avoid this do it coz the quality is for guys without brain.

| It's fun reading it once through the whole storyline, and then probably re-read the only good parts that were fairly memorable; such as the first part of it with Goku's childhood, or probably way later on with the events on Androids or with Buu which were the only times that I thought were quite good.

| I just love it, and it whas this manga who made me intresting in Manga and Anime what more can I say.
(OBS: I only got the Black&Withe Pocket version)

| Oooh, Dragonball manga. Good stuff, good stuff. Great characters, lots of crazy humour -some of it a bit naughty- and excellent fights. A must for any fan of fighting manga, so long as you don't except anything deep. In a lot of places, especially later volumes, the manga is quite different from the anime, so don't judge it before you've read it. This is one of my favourites at the moment, so excuse me while I give it some high marks - well, high for me anyway.

| DB manga.. hmmm i have read the whole DBZ manga and watched all the DB original series SUBBED about 2 years ago and it was fantastic!! although its a little bit drag on... you gota love the cell and buu saga.... and the manga does it a lot better than the series and dont judge the anime when you watch it DUBBED!! never do that!!!

| I've always been a big fan of Dragon Ball, the anime. But the anime can be sometimes very inconsistent. The manga is very consistent, telling the story well, and is funnier than the anime. The manga is really good, and all die-hard DB fans should read it.

| In reading the whole manga for DBZ I ended up enjoying the manga more than the series, because it went into more detail on things, and the artwork was consistent, not like in the series where there were three different head artists with three distinctively different ways of drawing
