| Die nächste Sakura Wars OVA…und dieses Mal ist sie auch noch meinen absoluten Hasscharakter Sumire gewidmet. Eigentlich gab es absolut keinen Grund für mich diese Episode auch nur mit dem Arsch anzuschauen aber der Vollständigkeit halber ließ ich sie dann doch über mich ergehen. Man muss hier nicht viele Worte verlieren: Die OVA dreht sich komplett um den Rücktritt Sumires von der Bühne und der Flower Division. Hier und da ein paar Tränchen, ein paar letzte Dialoge mit gewissen Charakteren, der finale Auftritt und zum Schluss eine Abschiedsgala mit ganz viel Bummstrara. ENDE! Sollte man kein Sumire-Fan sein (es soll sie WIRKLICH geben…) gibt es keinerlei Anlass dafür sich diese OVA zu Gemüte zu führen. Tja, und für mich ist Sumire eben eine unausstehliche, völlig eingebildete Zicke die sich getrost vom Acker machen kann und da hilft es auch nicht mehr das sie in dieser Episode mehr Emotionen zeigt und Tränchen kullern lässt als noch in den Vorgängern. Ich zumindest wein ihr keine Träne nach! :]

| The Sakura Taisen was a somewhat sad addition to the whole Sakura Wars saga. The fact that it focuses on my favorite character Sumire is just a bonus. In this SHORT OVA Sumire finally owns up to the fact that she cares about the other members of the flower division. If you want to know more read on.

| As if Sakura Taisen wasnt already hardcore enough, they decide to make a little special tie-in to the 3rd ova. The Sumire retirement special is all about, well, Sumire retiring from the imperial floral defence troup\acting thing. At the same time, her Seiyuu was retiring in real life, as far as I've been told. Seem like all the Sakura Taisen characters make their appearence with Sumire and then put on a final stage presentation with her as the lead. I'm not a huge Sakura Taisen fan, as I havent played any of the games, but this wasnt too bad. Not a lot of substance or anything, but it's kind of neat seeing a character phased out like this, vs. getting killed or some other crazy event that you'd normaly see in anime.

| You would have to be a die-hard Sakura wars fan to enjoy this. This has nothing to do with SW ecole de paris, and has some bits from the TV, and OVA1. And the alternative tittle is Sakura Wars OVA 3 - Sumire Kanzaki Retirement Show.
So judgjing by the tittle you know that its aim to kill a character from the show. (The description of the anime is there on the main page, so nothing much to explain anymore)
