| This manga is great, just like the anime. I would have to get these books out from my school before some other guys just to read them. It seems they must like it too.
This is the best manga I have read to this day (I havn't read Death Note yet, which happens to be one of my favourite animes).
The manga has a cool feel to it and it's nice to see the comparison between it and the Anime

| one of the best fighting mangas i know. the design is mostly aesthetic, and nice, but not very unique. there are a lot of nicely designed characters, but most of them have only 1-2 characteristics. the main character right now is quiet overpowered. the story is mostly interesting, but for me the author seems not to plan too far ahead. from time to time it developes too slowely because of the extremly long fights.
this may sound a little negative but it's actually quiet enjoyable, and for freinds of train and fight mangas very recommandable. also the first few volumes are extremly good, so you won't be disappointed when you just give it a try.

| This manga is easy to understand art compared to some other manga, has very good plot which has good action and comedy.
The protagonist Naruto and all the other main characters like Kakashi and Sakura are all very funny and the enemies sometimes funny as well.
Aside of the comedy each character has his own fighting style that used usually with different strategy (Except to Naruto I guess) to defeat the enemy

| En mi opinión Naruto es de lo mejor que se puede leer actualmente en el mundo del manga. No discutiré nada sobre la calidad de su dibujo, la profundidad de sus personajes y los cambios de ritmo de la historia. Sólo diré que tiene un gran mérito mantener y mejorar constantemente el nivel alcanzado durante todos estos años, y ser capaz de dejar de lado al heroe de la serie para focalizar la historia en sus muchos otros personajes. Ahí está el gran acierto de Naruto.

| Ah Naruto, one of the most known mangas out on the manga circuit. For a Shoenen manga its pretty decent and not too shabby. Its probably the longest running manga that I know of (it rivals DBZ), and I admit i was a Naruto Fan before, but I recently stopped reading Naruto because the plot is starting to lack luster and creativity. And it seems that the creators are running out of ideas.

| Naruto is one of those typical shounen mangas where the main character's personality never changes - in this case he is loud mouthed, brash, instinctive, hotheaded - and the only personal growth Naruto undergoes is that of his Chakra power and control. Actually, to make things even more typical - his power doesn't REALLY improve. Considering that the power trapped in him is still the same all throughout from beginning to end. (Arguably, he does have some sort of self growth of his own through friendship and all his journeys, but that really isn't emphasized at all in the storyline.)
Nevertheless, despite the seemingly cliche themes, I still enjoy reading this manga for its action and super powered up fights. After 308 chapters of reading about Naruto's adventures, I still want to read more. The strength of Naruto lies in the coolness of a majority of the villains. Although it gets kind of annoying to see such cool villains get defeated by this happy go lucky kid whose main difference is that he is surrounded by a bunch of loving friends and companions, eventually that feeling will pass and you can enjoy Naruto's adventures.
Personally, I am still following this manga because of the Naruto v Sasuke conflicts, and the Akatsuki issues. For those seeking character growth, an intriguing story, interesting background/scenario, Naruto is definitely NOT the manga to read. Everything is pretty unchanging and consistent. There aren't any villainous mindsets to decipher in the baddies. The only real "cool factor" in Naruto are the various transformations he undergoes when he gets angry. Even at chapter 308, anger is still his strongest weapon. When will he ever learn to control it and become strong independently? The world may never know. But in the meantime, I'll just enjoy the various fights...

| This manga is a joke,in fact is worse than the anime because every week you have less pages and the main goal of the mangaka is win time which means you have a complete arc where 99% is talk and enormous pictures to tell you very
few things and in the end no story only continuous rescues(sasuke gaara,man this should be fireman anime not action .This began with 21 pages now only have 16.So if you insist to see this crap wait 4 years maybe then you can watch a 5 minutes fight but i doubt.

| Which manga fan today haven't at least heard of Naruto the hyperactive Ninja? The hype 'round him is getting bigger as we speak. The questin is if he deserves it. I'd say yes for many reasons. This a Shonen manga with action, humor, magic and adventures. In other words a must read for all shonen fans!

| A perfect SEVEN of course. This anime is very childish as they portray ninjas as cute little 12 year olds who run around screaming about friendship and finding their own nindo way on how not to kill. If you are looking for an anime that has any meaning behind it or is sort of realistic, then this is not for you. But to those who just want to see people killing each other and extremely bloody fights, then this is also not for you. Kishimoto's drawings are very good but sometimes a little messy, the story line is always up and down, some arcs are great and some arcs just totally blow. The characters are probably the most interesting here. They all have good background stories on them ( the important ones anyway ), and they have interesting personalities. I would reread SOME of the arcs in the manga, just not the whole thing. Overall, it's a decent anime on my standards.. Not the best, but still better than some.

| Naruto is a lot better than most action manga I've read. But for a series that's been running for so many years, I've never felt that the character development has gone beyond satisfactory. It's worthwhile to read, but it won't leave you with a profound feeling afterwards.
Fortunately, the manga's much better than the anime series, and it gets updated earlier.

| I believe this is a wonderful series ^_^ It's a mix of action, comedy, and angst with its roller coaster plot and variety of characters. I definitely recommend Naruto for people who enjoy reading manga full of action - the kind that involves deadly blades, spells, and mystery. Oh yes, and as said before, the manga is far better than the anime.
