| This is everything I knew Di Gi Charat had the potential to be. Once again we have princess Dejiko from the planet Di Gi Charat come to earth and set down in the maneki neko shopping center. (A maneki neko is also the name of a ceramic cat Japanese stores put in their windows to beckon customers.) With her are Puchiko and Gemma. Dejiko ends up being at a toy shop where two brothers produce toys. (The older one is always inventing some weird toy that falls flat.) Puchiko ends up with an elderly couple that run a bake shop. Also in the shopping arcade is Rabi~en~Rose, a.k.a. Usada Hikaru. She was the cutest thing in the place until Dejiko and Puchiko came along. Naturally, she doesn't get along with Dejiko at all. Her parents run a hair salon.
It's all part of Deijko's princess training by her parents.

| Really fun to watch over and over. It's pretty good, even though it's a total remake of the original series. The animation and sound is notably better than the original series (you can clearly understand the budget differences in both series ^_^).
The story is... well, what can you expect from Di Gi Charat aside from total nonsense? But still, the story is not the most important issue here.
If you want a light anime that makes you laugh, I recommend it to you. But if you're looking for profound themes and dramatic appearances, you should look somewhere else -nyo.

| This anime rocks!! It's totally madcap and insane! I love this anime so much. You should totally get it if you can.

| Two story in a episode, a long 20+ episodes is a lot to watch in this Nyo~ series for your time. Still, is very fun to rewatch it after finish it only the joke get dull. The funny scene and story start during 12 episode and onward.

| Did someone ever mention that Digi Charat is actually make use lots of surreal element-nyo? Distorted shaped ppl, crazy things hanging of the tree, funny ufo and stuff-nyo.
Its not weird, its just dreamlike experience with parody and japanese pun all over the series-nyo. If u dislike other kawaii anime doesn't mean that you'll eventually hate Gigi Charat Nyo-nyo.
Sure, the character is extremely kawaii (Petit Charat is the best!) but the kawaiiness is not sickening (at all)-nyo.
I really enjoy this anime personally-nyo. U'll have to see it urself to really appreciate / dislike Digi Charat Nyo-nyo.

| Extremely cute and funny in a random sort of way. The humor is infantile at times and occasionally ventures into Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy-type humor. Everything has little faces on it and the people on Earth sure look very strange. There is barely any story but that doesn't really matter. You could start on any episode and it'd still make sense.
A lot of the puns take a knowledge of Japanese or really quick eyes (to read the thousands of subtitles at once) to understand.

| SUPER CRAZY, SUPER CUTE, SUPER SILLY!
saw only the first episode and wonder how it'll continue (ofcourse i'll update the review),
it's longer than the other Di Gi series and i wonder if this one will have any plot (ofcourse it won't have).
the story is a more detailed version of the original Di Gi series with some changes.
