| Daa! Daa! Daa!
Just seeing the title will surely repulse all the adult audiences.
This is an anime which is a combination of original and non-original concepts, pretty weird huh? what do I mean with no originality? I think the author borrowed some elements from Rumiko Takahashi's works. Here are some examples:
1. Lou is an alien baby boy who can float and fly like a character in Urusei Yatsura named Jariten, a brat kid who can do the same.
2. There is a character here named Momoka who is always seen riding a bike and has a crush on Lou, which is like Mako-chan from Urusei Yatsura, a girl riding a bike with an endless pursuit for Jariten (though the kid only existed for just one ep)
3. Alien characters from another planet as guest characters, like in Urusei Yatsura (again)
4. Kanata and Miyu are living in the same house and both are siblings of two bestfriends, which is kinda based from Ranma 1/2 in which the two main characters Ranma and Akane are living under one roof and are son and daughter of bestfriends Soun and Genma
5. Another thing copied from Ranma is an event in the first ep of this series, the part when Kanata entered the bathroom not knowing that Miyu is taking a bath is copied from Ranma 1/2 where Akane is supposed to take a bath then was startled to find Ranma inside the bathroom.
But there's also something original and unique, which I think is the most charming element of the entire series, and that is the existence of the character Mikan Yamamura, the anime version of Mika Kawamura who's the author of this anime.

| Really one of the best shoujo anime (is it?) I've watched. Has really good lessons in life (especially how to keep really really big secrets!) and some tearjerker moments. The characters are memorable - each with different personalities. The sound effects are soothing and the ost is really kawaii. You'll really enjoy htis as much as I do.

| A really really cute anime, with an interesting plot, the alein living with two school kids idea is pretty cool. I love the characters they are so cute. The only thing i didn't like was the title, i mean Da! Da! Da! What kind of a title is that??:S And i really love the relationship that develops between Miyu, Kanata and Ruu, its really sweet the way Miyu and Kanata take so much care of Ruu. And Wanya is pretty funny as well

| I watched the first episode then got side tracked with other anime series, about a month later I watched the second episode and started liking the series. It's a nice show, nothing great in any of the categories it falls into (comedy, romance, school kids, drama?) It's just about the kids everyday lives... with a baby alien and a 'pet-sitter'. I can't imagine it lasting for 78 episodes, it's entertaining but I don't know if I can watch it that long unless more character development happens, right now it's starting to remind me of Ranma, ya know... how it goes on forever, with no further development in plot or characters? That aside, I enjoy it. I would like to find some sites that go into detail about the ending of the series.

| Parents of the 2 leads are friends and both sets are conveniently away overseas or in some faraway part of japan, for long missions. Girl was told to stay in the Boy's house. The adjustment started. Then Alien baby and nanny arrived at their doorstep and couldn't get back to their world. And starts the everyday life and adjustment of the foursome. A kiddy comedy anime.

| As catapult said, this is a true refreshment, no fan service really which is great i think. Its a different kind of romantic comedy, not so serious, no fan service, and yet still very funny, kawaii, and enjoyable i think.
Animation is indeed a bit lacking, but i just love the characters, each one has a..uniqueness which makes the show alot of fun.
i have only seen 31 out of 78 eps, but i still want to finish it off cuz its just so enjoyable and relaxing :)
*update* hmm... well.. im up to 42 now..and its getting a tad...tedious, the length of the series is starting to get to me..i kinda want the plot to start going faster...lots of fillers...but still good to watch i think

| Even thou the animation is very old and childish, the story is definitely one of a kind. It is unique in the sense that nothing of this sort has been done before. Also, it projects onto the fan a sense of warm and fuzzyness. The characters are totally lovable and cute. I've waited 25 eps to review this anime and i can confidently say that this anime IS very good and will be enjoyed by almost all of those that would spend their time downloading this wonderful anime.

| Daa! Daa! Daa!, in my opinion, is one of the more underrated anime series out there. Daa^3 is the story of two 8th graders living on their own who find an alien baby, Ruu, and his "sitter-pet" Wanya. It sounds bizarre, and it is, but it just works, and the interactions between the cast really make it a funny, and at times heart-warming series. If you're an action fan, you'd hate this, but this is a solid shojou series without the "magical girl" part--it's mostly about daily life, albeit daily life with a alien baby who has ESP powers and a knack for eluding Miyu, Kanata, and Wanya. With likeable characters and good BGM (although the animation's just OK), this is one of the best anime romantic comedies I've seen.

| A very likeable anime. Cute, adorable, but somewhat underated, since people who have watched it will either really enjoyed it or disliked it. This hasn't been picked up by any publishers or even fansubbers, which is kind of disappointing. This is an enjoyable anime, but it's not the best. Give it a try if you don't mind the storyline being too cute(it IS based on a shoujo manga, mind you).
