| This was my very first anime.
[This is also my first Review!
Changes to the review should be expected give some time.]
The colors and selections were great! I loved the CG backgrounds used to create the environment. This has got to be some of the most colorful animation I've ever seen. In all I loved it. The voices fit the characters so well. I do find myself attached to this anime!!

| I am writing this right after finished the series, and here are my thoughts...
At times, it could have been more emotional, and, in the end, i wasn't moved by the story line at all. This series was definitely better that average, but not amazing. I like the lengths of it; it was long enough for story and character development, but short enough to keep my attention. If you are bored and looking for a light romance anime series, this is for you.

| ha. why is this even a sequel? this is a joke, right? i forced myself to watch this hoping to get another cameo of a character i did like. pfft. borderline incest stuff doesn't bother me too much in anime-- it didn't with love hina so that's not why i disliked this.
it's probably because as a sequel, this does not live up to its predecessor. not even as a spinoff is it worthy. i felt nothing for the characters and was pretty uninterested with what would happen with the story. so drawn out and uninteresting. why can't something happen and then go from there?
they ruined mizuho for me. and kei was absent. well that was pointless to watch the whole thing then. because i really didn't want to watch the whole predictable thing. meh
twins are the same age right?
good sound and animation. glad they didn't regress.
more adventures of kei and mizuho please

| When it comes down to it, Onegai Twins is a crappy romance that relies on female sex appeal, tons of complications, and twisted love battles where the main question is exactly who has the blood relation so that the other can have relationships with the guy in order to attempt to pull the viewer in. We just have all sorts of forbidden themes just oozing out of every episode - suggestive stuff like homosexuality, incestual love, emotional manipulation etc. And to those who are interested in this stuff, they did a horrible job with the characters that I might as well have been watching tree sex. The girls are utterly brainless and are bags of animated meat. I can point to any one of the female leads, and name a name from some other series and it'd be a perfect label. They're all the same and these two girls are no different. But I guess some guys like their girls dumb and stupid, so that's why they appear everywhere.
Honestly, at first everything from the opening, to the animation, to the girl personalities just reeked of h-game styles. But even h-games have more depth and entertainment value than Onegai Twins. Onegai Twins is just sex appeal without the sex, truly the lowest of the low in all of anime.
To top off the lousy storyline , the animation quality just sucks. If you want to make a showcase of all the girls... at least have some high quality animation production to enjoy this aspect. But with this part failing to satisfying, there are no redeeming aspects in Onegai Twins. (At least they realized later on that this aspect was missing and started adding more fan service and boob stuff).
Unless you're a sucker for a whole bunch of accidental events leading to romantic attachment to contrived drama between the two potential blood relatives battling over Maiku, then watch this... don't say I didn't warn you.

| Although I enjoyed Please! Twins immensely, I can see why people dislike it. The story is weak, the side characters are flat and stereotypical, the ripped-off characters from Please Teacher have major personality changes; the jokes are predictable, harem-style and yawn-inducing; the fact they said “We may be relatives, we may be strangers” about 100 times per episode was annoying; and the ‘incest is okay’ theme that kept on popping up was off-putting. What’s not to hate?
Well: the animation and sound for one thing, they are superior to those in Please teacher; the relationships between Miina, Karen and Maiku were believable; the entire show, including the jokes, were well executed and well timed, and I was either laughing my head off and/or rolling my eyes at them. The main characters are more realistic and likable; the story is a lot more likely-to-happen then Please Teacher’s story; and finally, the show is fun and cute to watch.

| Animation : Bright colors, neat drawings, nice landscape, good composure. Very good work
Sound : a nice beat. If hearing the serie only, we would think the pace is much quicker than it is indeed
Story : a potentially interesting plot that fail to create the potential Drama. Schoolife seem to be absent. nearly everything happens at home, giving sometimes an impression of being locked (Huis clos). The pace is too slow and the storyline too predictable. Too many gross situations where characters find themselves in embarrassing situations. Sometimes, seems the Dialog disc is scratched " Watashi... Watashi... Watashi..." . It is unrealistic that girls this age would so easily show themselves with little or no clothes. Harem atmosphere sometimes. The gay issue here is weird or scary, whereas cutely represented in Kashimashi. The Ending is flat and unimpressive.
Disappointed
Character : a big diappointment as well. some appearances from the previous series help establish a link, but just appear as a cheap way to buy fans. they are the shade of their former self.
How come the 2 girls can fall in love that quickly with an uncharismatic main character? Development is scarce, but the soil is not fertile indeed. Lots of potentials missed.
Seems the school has only one teacher that makes everything. I can't believe this was written by the same team as the excellent Onegai Teacher.
Value : I skipped some eps and will burn a backup copy for the holy sake of archiving. but I don't even consider watching this again (or finish the skipped eps)
Enjoyment : very low. I got hooket to Onegai Teacher so it motivated me to watch the conclusion of this one. Regretfully, I just finished GTO before watching this one and got spoiled with breathtaking scripts in a sustained scenario. so I was maybe more severe than usual. If you have some extra time to spend, OT is an option, but if your bandwith is as tight as your schedule, keep your precious time for more valuable animes.

| Compared to its predeccesor, a mediocre anime. However, for those who loved Please Teacher, it is worth a watch, not just for the series itself, but for the cameo appearences from Kusanagi and the prevalent role of Mrs. Kazami.
The animation was terrific, as expected of a sequel of Please Teacher, but the characters and plot both fall short of the excellence and depth of Please Teacher.
While the characters were likeable and the plot sort of interesting, both the characters and the plot were too simple and lacked enough depth and complexity to make this a truly great anime on par with its predeccesor.
While the romance-aspect of the anime is interesting and engaging, it is also a bit wierd and definately incestuous.
There is little background information for each of the three main characters, and the background that is given is limited and not given much depth.
In conclusion: if you loved Please Teacher, Please Twins is worth a watch, but if you didn't, then Please Twins won't give you anything that you can't find better in Please Teacher.

| A very mediocre anime. Most who watch it will be Please Teacher Fans. This is a muted, quiet, pale, shadow of what Please Teacher was. Everything that makes Please Teacher so good is virtually missing here.

| I put off watching this for quite some time because I was under the impression it was supposed to be this serious and quite dark incestuous story, but to be honest it was pretty light hearted and very funny! I didn't find any part of it to be in bad taste and overall I found the storyline to be quite sweet and endearing. The only real let down was the ending, it seemed too "up in the air" for my liking and I couldn't really understand why it ended the way it did.

| Now, really, it's hard to even do anything but laugh at Onegai Twins. Perhaps it's a bit odd that I find everything the series did wrong amusing, rather than anything it had to offer, but oh well. Unlike its predecessor, though still keeping its superb visual appeal, Onegai Twins half-asses its soundtrack, focuses on incest rather than love, beats all its characters over the head with hard, solid inanimate objects, and then openly flings itself into the drooling masses of the anime world who enjoyed Onegai Teacher.
If you thought Onegai Teacher's animation looked good, at least Twins won't disappoint you in that regard. With a similar focus on following the ABCs of stellar landscapes (Ambience, Beauty, Color), I already found myself pleased. In addition, high quality framerates and smoothness do a great deal in making Twins somewhat appealing. Perhaps my only complaint would be characters, who seemed rather lackluster at times, but overall are fairly standard with most of the more modern series.
Okay, I admit, the main reason I watched Onegai Twins was because Kotoko had a rather large role in Onegai Teacher, and I adore her music. Much to my dismay, in Twins her role is much less prominent -- for that matter, I can't really say I cared all too much for most of the music. Twins never established a set mood, so I never really paid much attention to the background music, as it certainly never grabbed my atention as anything great. I think I enjoyed listening to the opening and ending themes more than I did watching the anime...
And for all the incest-romance fans of the world, Twins is for you! Really, I found no point to the entire series other than asking the question "Is incest okay?" and then answering itself with a "Yes, absolutely.' Not wanting be left out on the question-self-answer process, I immediately asked myself "Is Onegai Twins a heap of garbage?" I, of course, answered "Yes, absolutely." Honestly, there is no point to Onegai Twins other than telling the tale of two girls falling in love with their brother -- sorry, not my cup of tea.
Being that I didn't care for Onegai Teacher's characters all that much, I consider them a fabulous lot in comparison to Twins. Maiku started out as a decent character, but by the end I found myself disgusted with him as well; nobody in Twins seems capable of having a normal, natural romance. Incest and homosexuality are pretty much the only things going on, and being quite the detester of both categories, I didn't feel attached in the slighest. This, however, does not happen to be the damning part of the series; trumping all that was the utterly shallow nature of every character. Main characters included, in Twins there is not even one round character -- all are flat, one-dimensional, and antagonizing. With the exception, perhaps, of the very brief intervals of Kei and Mizuho's reappearance, I rather forced myself to watch beyond the first episode. I thought maybe, just maybe, that by the end I might become attached to the story, one character, something. Nope, nothing.
An average show at best, points for animation and sound really are Onegai Twin's only redeeming factor. Also, being that I completely lost interst after a few episodes, I can't say I much enjoyed it. If anything, rewatching Onegai Teacher another time is worth twice as much as watching Twins once, so I would recommend staying away from this as best one can.

| Onegai Twins commenced with the potential of becoming a good series, but after the first few episodes, I have to say that the quality of the story dropped tremendously with the overall progression and conclusion. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy some parts of the series (I found myself laughing quite a few times with some of the interactions of the characters as well as the reappearance of some familiar faces.) Animation and music are crisp and of good quality like its predescessor Onegai Teacher, but everything else seems to fall flat in comparison to Onegai Teacher and peer series in the same genre. Thus, I would not recommend this series very highly unless you're a fan of the genre and don't mind a bit of an addictive non-sensical drama. I even hold back my recommendation to some of the fans of Onegai Teacher because the characters, while refreshing to watch in points, seem to turn more comical/silly in their personalities. If you don't mind that factor, then by all means, it shouldn't detract from enjoying this series for what its worth.

| Um....ok I really really liked this series but maybe for the wrong reasons? Let's see...there's the over used "girl-falls-on-guy" scaenario and boy's friends come in and immediately assume the worst. That whole thing right there...blehhh so over used...but that's ok...basically my main complaint is that even though I really really love the characters and the story, the way they play out is just really predictable, cliche, and not much to keep you guessing about things. And Mina's friend Yuuka!! No point whatsoever to the story! I swear I thought she would have a big part in putting the pieces togehter for the girls' past with Maiku. Ehhh well...it's a good looking series and the story is reminiscient of Love Hina but still nice...but not too much more beyond that :(

| Ahh, another anime worth watching. I really hope there are more Onegai somethings. I am not going to make comparisons so without saying anything else, here is my review.
The animation of this story is very pretty and smooth, however there are a couple annoying "stills." Over-all, the animation is high on quality. The little things can be forgiven as they are few and infrequent.
The sound is very good. Background, ambience, and sound effects are all top notch, well placed and seamless. The music is simply ok, and though the sound is great, I won't be rushing out to buy the BGM or Soundtrack. I think the music could have been better.
The story is simple. VERY simple. no plot twists here, just a simple plot and resolution. Standard stuff but by no means average. This story is worth the time - it makes standard become above average.
(Side note for anyone who ever watched Fushigi Yuugi - I feel a "MIAKA"/"TAMOHOME" thing coming on. They beat the whole sibling motif into you with a luisville slugger. Perhaps the story's biggest fault, but It reminds me of the MANY MANY times we have to hear Miaka say Tamohome, and Tamohome say Miaka breathlessly. Can't anyone see this horse is dead? Why are they still beating it?)
The characters are well fleshed out. You will like them and their development is interesting. Some of the characters from Onegai Teacher make appearances and, if you have not seen Onegai Teacher, their appearances may be detrimental to the main characters' development. The opposite goes doubly true if you have seen Onegai Teacher. Overall, the character development is high quality and well thought out.
I would pay money for this series and I hope you do too. That makes it a value for everyone.
After I finished this series, I was happy to have watched it. My time is not cheap, and to waste it watching bad anime is very costly, however, this one is not a waste to me. I may even watch this one again someday. I think that says a lot for an anime - when you can see yourself watching it again in the future.
Give this one a look see if you like drama/love-romance (sci-fi? VERY light).

| If it weren't for the fact that Onegai Twins is an indirect sequel to my favourite anime series Onegai Teacher, I would have been much more harsher on this show. Twins throws out the use of teleporting, the stand stills, the aliens, and pits new characters facing new problems. You know what else was scrapped? Everything that was good about Teacher too! Teacher's central theme was moving forward; Twins isn't as philisophical. It pretty much brings up the long drawn out question, "Who is relative and who is stranger?". Sequels for anything can go both ways; it can be a huge improvement over the original, which is expected since the people making it have more experience, or it can be worse. What was quite unexpected is how far below Twins is from Teacher. In every single aspect, Twins is inferior. By a large margin as well! This anime should only be watched by fans of Onegai Teacher. If you plan on watching Onegai Twins, make sure you get your ass buying or downloading the original. Hell, you should be doing that anyways because it's just that awesome!
Judging by the various pictures advertising Twins, you'll probably assume that the lucky bastard in purple hair is a huge pimp for picking up two cute twins, right? You'd be surprised, because that's far from the case. It all started when the local news channel started investigating on the recent UFO sightings. In the background, a familiar house is spotted by three abandoned kids, which they think is the house they've all grown up in. Maiku, the purple haired kid, currently lives in their in order to discover more about his childhood. Living with no one else, he supports himself by programming for a company. Months later, two girls appear at his front door. The red headed is Miina, and the green haired is Karen. They all claim to be the twin of Maiku, but how can that be when there's only two of them in the picture? Maiku invites them two to live with him since he feels like he'll just be an ass if he leaves his siblings behind. But one of them is a stranger.
The first three episodes seem to whip up a promising series that would definitely stack up to its name sake. Though there are many plotholes and drawn out episodes that keep it from becoming a stellar title. First off, I wondered if they ever considered that they were are relatives, but one of them wasn't available at the time when the picture was taken? It would make sense, since they all have the same dark blue eyes, and are coincidentially abandoned by their real parents, and also have the same childhood picture!? Then we have the biggest plothole in the story, which is the age difference. But how can that be, they're twins!? Well, both Miina and Karen are in their freshman years, while Maiku is in his junior!? They could have at least called it Onegai Siblings.
Plotholes just make the story inconvenient, but the story is inconvenient already. The entire series is wasted upon the question, "Who is twin, and who is stranger?". In every single episode, the two girls ponder on who really is the twin, and what they should do if they aren't? The first time it was brought up, it was pretty cool. But then it drags itself into several more episodes. It's like listening to a single song for an entire month. Unless the song is really really REALLY good, then you'll eventually die of boredom. The story also feels like it's being interfered with the not so funny fanservice moments. There are many instances where the two girls fall over Maiku, and their heads happen to be near his crotch, and their panties ALWAYS happens to be shown. What's sad is that these times are suppose to be Onegai Twins more emotional moments. You won't get turned on too, because the girls are so young. At least in Teacher, Mizuho Kazami had big boobs.
But like mentioned before, Twins does have its moments. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere in Teacher, and that same feel of the atmosphere is shared with Twins. Living together with people you don't know, but soon dearly love has such a great feeling to it. Though what disturbs me is how close the girls can get with Maiku, even though he might be their twin. Sibling Secrets (a hentai where a brother makes his sister his sex slave) starts springing up. It doesn't fall down towards that path, but you can't help but feel that Miina and Karen are a little bit too excited of meeting their brother. Speaking of atmosphere, not only do they share that same feeling, but it's in the same town too! You can expect many locations to be revisited, such as the gym storaged room, the hotel, school, and many others. Characters will also make cameo appearences, mainly Matagu, Mrs. Kazami, Mr. Yamada, and Ichigo. Matagu has a younger sister entering as a freshmen in the school, and he's awfully overprotective and admirable of her. Mrs. Kazami sets Miina and Karen in the right path. Plus, she's their teacher. Mr. Yamada is also the two girl's teacher. Ichigo became tyrannical when she took the job of student council president. She now makes a living off of making "fufufufu" sounds, and peeping at people when they're having sex, or taking pictures when something terribly embarassing happens. In the OVA episode, all the main characters from Teacher and Twins come together to enjoy a nice summer camp out.
Oh yeah, the new cast, aside from the main cast, are as equally as impressive as Teacher's. (Unfortunately, I forget all their names, aside from Mrs. Kazami's and Ichigo's). There's one character that's gay, and is quite attracted to Maiku. There's another girl that's quite insecure when it comes to anything deep in a relationship, and will not hesitate to end it if her partner does something so quick. They all have interesting stories, especially the gay guy. Matagu's story isn't really serious, but it does serve up some hilarious moments. He's so protective over his little sister, that he'll sometimes sneak in the girls changing room to see if she's okay. He's also not afraid to pick on freshmen kids who even talk to her.
Speaking of characters, one of Onegai Teacher's stronger traits were its music and animation. It's really hard to decline in graphical quality when you're making a sequel to something. Everyone is gorgeously designed, and while Miina and Karen can't compare to Mrs. Kazami, their models are still wonderfully animated. The only complaint I can come up with relating to the animation is the use of hair colour on the three main characters. Green, burgundy red, purple? Unusual if you ask me. The music, both its opening and ending themes, are also just so addictive to listen to. Second Flight and Tears of Tommorow are among the best anime songs I've listened to so far. The sounds are also done pretty well. Then again, outside of music, it’s really hard to judge on sounds, unless they’re murder to your ears, or they’re as top notched as Last Exile’s.
Many fans of Onegai Teacher will probably be disappointed with the drawn out “Who is relative and stranger?” plot, but the revisitation of nostalgic locals, and cameo appearances from the original show, as well as impressive music and animation are a real treat. Sometimes you wish this was a direct sequel to the original, but then again, how can you further its story anymore? The story made a steep run compared to its predecessor, but the other categories weren't really hurt. There's also a really touching and emotional moment at the end of episode 12 that relates with the picture everyone has. Only fans of the original would find Twins remotely interesting.

| I really enjoyed this anime, mainly because of the animation, which really breathed life into the characters. The facial expressions are lively and realistic and portrays each character elegantly.
The story is filled with heart-felt feelings with touches of humour. Many reviews I read below complained about the simplicity of the plot. I do not dispute that claim, but this is an animation. The Japanese 'word', "anime", is derived from the English word "animation", which in turn comes from the Latin word, "animus", meaning "spirit", or "breath". Onegai Twins does just that. It creates realistic characters full of life and, through the iteration of similiar interactions, allows the characters to grow and mature.
Indeed the plot is simple. Through this simple plot, however, Onegai Twins acheives the most important principle of animation. The story, without the need of a complex plot, expresses the thoughts of characters with utmost clarity and allows the viewers to empathize the constant onset of doubts and worries the characters experience in their intimate romance.
I watch anime because I want to see the characters spring to life. I read manga because I want to appreciate the detailed artwork. I read novels because I am interested by the plot.

| Animation: The animation was well done. It gave a good impression looking at it.
Sound: The sound was good. The intro and outro's were nice, same goes for the voice acting.
Story: A bit simple, but funny in a way.
Character: The usual cute anime characters imo. Also fun to see Maiku's personality change quite a bit from the beginning to the end.
Value: I guess its a good follow up from Onegai teacher as in the lifetime. It is definately NOT a sequal.
Enjoyment: Well, it started good. The first 2-3 episodes were really fun to watch. Unfortunately, the whole scenario became quite repetitive after those episodes. I had to force myself to watch it till the end. That's also because of 2 different things.. first of all, Morino has changed into such a low person. Really pathetic. Second of all, after the secret has been revealed about the relatives, Karen starts acting like a total jalous kid. Kinda troublesome..
Nah, this anime is not my recommendation to anyone. I wasted my time.

| In the beginning of this anime, ur still wodnering whats going to happen, seeing if its going to have a good story, if the characters r good, or if the anime will have enough to entertain u.
The Story for me was very good, a very unique but also very well put together, u cant really find some of these stories in many animes.
The animation was great, in my opinion it was much better than its pervious Onegai Teacher, it didnt lack anythin n it kept a very good quality n value throughout the whole series.
Sound is very important, if u cant hear it than y bother with the op/en themes >_>;;, well sound was good, the music was awesome XD.
Characters matched the story very well, didnt have any problems with them n it also made the anime seem different from others, since u dont see green, red, or purple hair much these days.
Value was good, like i said before, u could see everythin n understand the surroundings.
Enjoyment, i enjoyed this anime very much, i mis it already ^_^

| absolutely a beauty. I was hooked from the very first episode.
First of all, the character development is absoultely amazing. At first Maiku was having a lot of trouble with Miina and Karen however as the story progresses on and on, that relationship began to change, it started going deeper and deeper. and then finally they found out the real answer and i thought the OVA ended it very nicely. the others characters i thought really added spice to the anime. Marie, Haruko and her bro. They were awesome. Not to mention Shimazaki too.
The music isn't anything special however it fit with the series very nicely. I don't think anything Kajiura Yuki would have fit this series.
over all i thought this was a AWESOME series. i would definitly watch it over again if i have the time. Such a cute and sad story. I love it.

| I was a totally big fan of Onegai teacher when I first watched it, but now I'm a totally fan of Onegai Twins.
The animation and sound is enjoyable and detaily done, absolutely no complaint, in fact the opening theme actually match with the story itself unlike some anime that just get a popular singer to sing a song. The character blends in the story very nicely and as the story progresses I felt like I am watching something real instead of something that's made up with cute character and detail animation. One thing I also found out after watching this series is that Onegai teacher's story is unreal( not to say that it's bad but it's just unlikely to happen in the real world even if you take out all the alien stuff), while the story plot in Onegai Twins is much more closer to reality. If there is only one thing that doesn't satisfy me in the story is the length of the series...I wish they could have made more episode. Some people said that the character are flat and the story are long and tedius, but that's their taste. If they like story's that are fantasy and unreal instead of something that you can related to (which is why I think they felt the character are flat) then they are free to say they don't like the anime, but I just hate it when someone say this series is bad. The have absolutely no reason to say it's bad, the most they could have done was saying that they don't like this anime. There's no scale on good or bad only like or dislike. This is a great anime to watch, very enjoyable and its value of rewatching is very high. Highly recommend to people who like real love story.

| Onegai twins was a really great anime. i cant figure out why it got such a low score when it was WAY better than Onegai teacher. I do agree with some of the reviews that the story dragged on a bit too long, but if this was only a 3 or 4 episode anime than you wouldnt really get to know the characters that well. Next to Ai yori aoshi, id have to say this was one of the best love storys ive seen so far. The fact that this anime touched on a subject like incest made it all that more interesting to watch too.
The animation was perfect in this anime. all the characters were very detailed and the two main girls were really cute. the surroundings and back grounds were all really detailed aswell.
The opening and ending themes were a real pleasure to listen to, they were relaxing with a bit of energy to it. i never once wanted to skip past them.
The storyline was pretty good, and i liked how it all progressed. sometimes it did get a bit slow and some episodes did feel like "fillers", but otherwise from start to finish it was great. the whole story was alot more easy to swallow than onegai teacher, thats for sure.
I liked all the characters in onegai twins alot better than onegai teacher. for one, the main guy isnt a little wuss that blacks out all the time. a few of the characters from onegai teacher are in onegai twins, but they have very minor roles.
Overall, this was a really good anime and in my opinion MUCH better than onegai teacher. If your into love/romance than deffinately check out Onegai twins.
