| One piece Movie 4 is not an invention of something totally new but it was the best movie i have seen of the one piece saga. It has a great animation, a decent plot and the usual set of funny characters. Now that describes it already.
The story is so one piece-like that it hurts but the really cool animation had me hanging stunned before my screen. I shut down my brain and simply enjoyed the world of one piece. I cant think of more to write about this movie. But it is probably the best shounen movie i have ever seen. Though that doesnt mean much because most of those movie are horrible.

| This is only the 3rd anime I have ever given a perfect 10/10 for! It has everything and more you could ask for from a movie that is a spin-off from an already well established anime TV series and epitomises everything that IS One Piece.
This is something a One Piece fan should not miss out on ^__^
Watch this after the guys meet up with Robin.

| Finally! The long anticipated One Piece movie that goes beyond the 50 minute boundary! And as you can expect, this is by far the best movie in the series. The story starts with the Straw Hat Pirates entering a large bar kept hidden deep underground. This was paradise, at least for Luffy, seeing as the food was free. But with his stomach coming before his brain, he upsets some of the customers, some being famous pirates with large bounties on their heads. Though through this, he discovers a grand race, where the winner will be rewarded with 300 000 000 beli! Of course Nami will force his crew to enter, no matter the circumstances. However, another matter rises up as a boy attempts to ambush Zoro during his restroom break. He claims to have been ordered to kill them. What could this all be?
The problem with past One Piece movies was that they were much too short, lacking in any sort of development. At least in Dead End no Bouken, there's some character development to be found. Though die hard One Piece fans should know only the side characters are developed. That doesn't suck, because some of the side characters are pretty awesome. Those worthy of mention are a Pirate Captain as powerful as the previous Luffy's face, and a persistent bounty hunter who has the word sick encrypted on his jacket. The main cast has yet to change, which is saying a lot. One Piece is famous for its awesome characters, especially the air head Luffy. This guy just cracks you up. The other characters, like Zoro and Sanji, emit that badass feel, making them admirable. Nami has that same selfish and money hungry personality; Usopp is still a coward, and a funny one too; Chopper is as ignorant as ever; and Robin is as calm and cool as ever. You can't ask anymore for such a diverse and loveable cast.
With that said, no matter what the movie the Straw Hat Pirates are in, they automatically make it great even if the story is mediocre. Good thing the story's average. While it is predictable, it maintains your interest, which most anime based movies fail to comply with. That's right, everyone look towards Dragonball Z. Nearly every aspect of the fourth One Piece movie has been improved upon, which includes the animation. I'm pretty sure we can all remember the horrid quality of the first movie. When you watch this, you're wondering if this is even One Piece related at all because it's that good! But that isn't saying much, since the character models still are poor. Though that's easily forgiven because of their substance. The music is as classical as ever. Overall, this is a must see for any One Piece fan!

Again, very stereotypical of all one piece series and movies. There is always a kid, and he's always influenced by the strong camaraderie of Luffy's crew.
However, i liked this one. Good , cool villains, nice sub characters as usual in most one piece stuff, and I love races of all sorts
Good story basis, very enjoyable to watch. Not much to write in terms of a review, however, one can view this as a good long episode of the series :)
A must see =] nico robin makes her debut in the movies in this one.

| Best One Piece move sofar, aye. Doesn't reach the series time demanding character-perfection and homour (the two best qualities of One Piece) but has a darker tone, both in animation and in story, that are the best when it comes to story-develoment I've ever seen (Nami-san's dilemma with the mermen is a close second).
Recommandation to all anime-lovers, an official ORDER to watch it all of ya One Piece lovers!

| Der bisher beste One Piece Movie, ganz klar. Das Schema ist zwar immer noch dasselbe (und ich denke das wird sich auch in Zukunft nicht ändern) aber das tut der Unterhaltung auch diesesmal wie gewohnt nicht den geringsten Abbruch, da es nun mal die pure Freude ist der Strohhutbande bei jedem Abenteuer in das sie hinein schlittert zuzuschauen. Die Story ist wieder einmal kein Meisterstück an Originalität aber trotzdem interessanter als die der Vorgänger und die Atmosphäre ist diesesmal etwas düsterer was den typischen One Piece-Charme aber kein bisschen trübt. Außerdem bietet dieser Movie einige tolle Kampf-Szenen und von allen Movies den bisher fetzigsten Endfight auch wenn Ruffys Hauptgegner, ebenso wie der Ablauf des Kampfes, ziemlich stark an Crocodile erinnert. Also One Piece-Fans, lasst euch den Streifen nicht entgehen!

| Really good One Piece movie, in fact the best one so far.
The plot is pretty good, and makes sense and the thing about this one is that it's actually interesting! Unlike movies 1 and 3 which bored me to tears, Movie 2 was also pretty good but this one is just a little better.
The fight scenes are all good, and it's an exciting ride.

| This One Piece movie was a prety entertaining one to watch. Although I haven't seen the other earlier movies so I can't compare them.
The animation was better than the TV series for sure and was solid and smooth througout the whole movie.
The story was not bad, although nothing really original but it was certainly not boring.
The characters have their usual demenour, and while they are not as funny as in the TV series due to the fact that this Movie was a bit more serious then the normal One Piece atmosphere. The characters remain true to themselves, however more time should have been devoted to the other side characters in this movie.
Overall it is a enjoyable movie, although it needed more work in the story and character developments, it was certainly worth a watch.

| Unlike the TV series, this movie has quite a dark atmosphere. Now, I don't know, but some might not like this. I don't mind, since it's still One Piece, and it represents the One Piece name very well. It's simple this time, if you like One Piece, watch this. You may have a few complaints, but you'll still enjoy it. I did. Only this that sucked is the new fansub release. Damn it sucks. Sucked, sucked, sucked. He kept writing 300,000 instead of 3,000,000 just to show! Anyway, it's still a great movie IMO. **spoiler** I loved the part about the brother and sister, it wasa very nice touch**spoiler**. So yea, if you like One Piece, watch this.
