| Nothing short of a time waster. Yet another generic romantic comedy with nearly no substance and filled with fanservice. I initially hated it because it was more popular and is still running than the great but cut short Mx0. The only worthy redeemable mention is that the art is great!, especially when the books are uncensored.
Design: Great art overall and sexy character designs. I did not read To LOVE-Ru for anything else but its drawings. Lots of breast and pantie shots in an uncensored volume (take that, Ken Akamatsu!!!).
Story: There is absolutely nothing here. Guy meets alien girl who wants to marry him turned into a romantic comedy - see? nothing. There is barely an overwhelming presence due to the initial concept, there is only one arc that extends for 6 chapters while the rest are standalone or 2 chapters long. Every single scenario is copy-pasted from somewhere else, and if it looks like its original, its not because the starting point is always the same - either some ecchi misunderstanding or one of Lala's inventions gone malfunctioned.
Character: I really like the designs of the characters, but their personalities and depths speak something different. First, it's okay if the protagonist has an undying crush on a girl, but the manga never goes into DEPTH of their relationship - just a bunch of ecchiness and some photos along with the lead's "niceness". In other words, the chemistry is allowing it but the ingredients are not reacting with each other. Every single haremette goes through the same process: meet lead, have some sexual advancement, then separate without any "real" feelings coming out of it - almost every single chapter is a cockblock or reader tease. It is hard to like a character because they are so empty and their relationship with Rito is so empty.
Value: Mx0 got shafted but this is still being serialized? I call fucking bullshit. Anime has been made, but it is shit. I only started this because of 1) Mikan, an awesome 11-year-old sister of Rito, and 2) Riko from chapters 101, 102, and 106. Add 3) Yui is loev.
Enjoyment: Strangely, I enjoy this kind of manga. It is just that from a technical standpoint To LOVE-Ru is generic and poorly developed. I really wanted to like this, but alas the manga-kas keep reaping their money because they know the 25000+ readers like to be teased.
Oh, it ended at 164. Too bad.

| The design of the manga is quite good. There is nothing special in the story as it is acomedy. The development of the main characters is ver good.In my opinion, this manga is a good enjoyable comedy and this is the only one reason somebody would watch it.
