| Okay I know that this has been reviewed quite a few times but I feel after seeing all three series that I should put in my 2 cents. First of all, yes it's bad, it's Ecchi for christ-sakes, what on earth were you expecting? But if you watch ALL THREE SERIES it will all make sense. I try not to give out too many spoilers but unless you watch all three all the way thru you wont understand what MOE was trying to do with these interlinking projects. Yeah the plot seems like it was written by an idiot, guess what? It was, watch "Love Love?" and you get to see the behind the scenes interaction of the Cosprayer actors off set and you realize, it's all a SHAM! The writer is changing his script constantly to try to help out all these beautiful insecure actresses that need "special attention" only to realize in the end guess what buddy? They're playing you! You can actually match up the scenes from Crosprayers with whose got their breasts pressed up against the writer in Love Love?, it's terrific! The whole three series set is a farce about using sex as a weapon and how tits sell in Japanese entertainment carried over into a manga. I think it's beautiful and brilliant although you have to stick in there to catch the twists in the very end of each 8 episode set. I think this anime is highly underrated, reviewers should watch all episodes before making judgements, you never know what you missed.

| Cosprayers ist mal wieder typisch M.O.E.: Haufenweise Mädchen + Fanservice gepaart mit lahmer Story und absolut 0 Charaktertiefe. Es sind zwar nur 8 Episoden mit einer Insgesamtlänge von 10 Minuten aber wenn mir jede Episode wie eine Ewigkeit vorkommt, ich dabei bin gänzlich im Sessel zu versinken und bete das diese Tortur bloß schnellstmöglich zu Ende ist, ist klar das diese Serie mehr als nur ein Problem hat. Nicht nur die PURE Monotonie und Einfallslosigkeit ist es die hier regiert sondern auch das Klischee in übelster und hässlichster Form. Cosprayers bietet NICHTS, absolut GAR NICHTS was die Serie auch nur in kleinster Weise interessant, spannend, anspruchsvoll (Anspruch? Bei M.O.E? DER war gut oder...) oder sonst irgendwie sehenswert macht. Magical Girls die pausenlos erschreckend lächerlich gestaltete Monstrositäten bekämpfen um die Welt zu retten und nebenbei Haut und Höschen zeigen. Der komplette Anime in einem Satz perfekt zusammengefasst. Ich weiss ich gebrauche dieses Wort in meinen Reviews nicht oft aber...Cosprayers ist SCHEISSE und dieses Wort ist sogar noch schmeichelhaft für so einen niederen Abschaum!

| Okay, I realize this doesn't stand on its own. It kinda goes with Smash Hit. However, that's no excuse for making this so incredibly bad. Almost none of the characters were believable in the least, but you can't really tell all that well because they don't develop any of them. The story was non existant until ep 6. I can appreciate on some base level for being a dead on parody of Japanese live action shows.

| The drawing art, animation and sound are decent. But that's about it.
The story ..well Packman sure has more background and a picture book for the 2-4 y/o age range is less predictable than the scenes in this show.
The best about the characters is how they are drawn. They actually are not much of characters, more of 'subjects' with very few personality. The weapons, ememies, tools etc are very unimaginative/boring. And the dialogs: well, well, go watch some average hentai for more intelligent dialogs.
I stopped following it after ep 6, but now that i see here that its only 8 eps long i might waste some 25 minutes more to finish it for good. But don't think that is a recommendation, i just extremely hat to leave stuff unfinished ;) Never waste money or time on it ..on that note it really surprises me how triad managed to find enough ppl to waste time by subbing it.

| I now realize that this show is a part of one of the most brilliant scheme an anime's ever produced. Am I crazy? I don't think so, at least not now.
Just a week ago I would have agreed with everyone that Cosprayer is a cesspool of suckness. But it wasn't until I saw Smash Hit! that I realize this was all done on purpose. In fact, it's the irony of it all. This show is made in a way to make it look as though it was done by an amateur.
To further understand what I'm talking about, you will probably have to watch Smash Hit! although most people are prolly unwilling to take that chance. I must admit this is a fairly odd way to create two series that intertwines with each other but it is a very original idea in my opinion.

| It's not like I had high expectations with 8 episodes of 12 minutes. But really, there is no excuse for this piece of sh... right no swearing.
I'm not sure if the plot did make any sense at any point. It seemed to jump irrationally and the feeling was, as the main character put it, "What now?!". Characters were about as interesting as a phone book without any numbers. Even Raimuiro Senkitan beats this series in characters. I at least hated them.
I know animation wasn't that bad, but I can't give over 5 for this series in any category. No enjoyment at anywhere and only thing it was succesfull in was making me angry. Avoid.
Edit:
I've now watched Smash Hit. Now I know why Cosprayers is so bad. Knowing that doesn't make it any better. Cosprayers is still one of the worst series ever.

| Now, while this anime has no real value whatsoever, it's not THAT bad. I think of this as a power rangers in swimsuits. There are worse things out there than this. The story was better than I expected (though I have to admit I wasn't expecting much in the first place) and was above average for this series' length. I liked the BGM and the ED. The voices are okay. They're annoying but fit the character. Overall, this is a decent way to sponge up a bit of time. Don't expect much else.

| Uhh... hmm... This might be one of the most pointless shows ive ever seen, Im just glad it's as short as it is.
I like to think I know a good fanservice show when I see one, and this is deffinatley NOT good. MOE might not be known for the best stories around, but at least their other works are cohearent.
When it's all said and done Cosprayers pretty much fails in every department other then animation. The fanservice isnt very... fun, the story is pieced together in a fashion that's hard to follow, and the characters are all pretty pointless (even for a short, fanservice ova series)

| OMG.... opening the year 2004 with a crapy anime... >_< ... ugh...
The animation is good, which I will give them sredit for it... but beyond that .. hmmm...
All I can say is this ... even a 3yr old can write a better story than this... I normally don't bent on anime series that much but this one just totally waste my time even through its only 12 min per eps! This thing is not even worth d/l ing it... that how bad it is... =P
So far anime in 2004 are kind of disappointing with stuff like this but since its only the beginning of the year... they'll be better ones... I hope... =P

| I really cannot stress highly enough how bad CosPrayers truly is. In the space of the last 15 months we have been served a large number of series of this type (fanservice shows with a large cast of girls). CosPrayers is just one of these shows too many, and worse, manages to play the cliches so much more, well, badly.
It has pretentions to be something greater, of course. The plot is a classic "girls gather to save the world" that has been done many times before, and does have the occasional dramatic moment, but it never really manages to raise itself above the level of banality its genre generates. Actually, it often shoots itself in the foot by exploiting its fanservice in ways that occasionally defy description....
Of course, one could mention here its spinoff, or perhaps one could describe it as the original and CosPrayers as the spinoff, "Smash Hit". It is an interesting progression, and as Buyung Kilat has said, one could ascribe a certain level of genius to MOE for having done this. If Smash Hit was all that much better, which it isn't. But it IS better.
In another way, you could look upon it as MOE attempting to urinate all over CosPrayers after realising people hated it so much, taking with it what little dignity this show still had. But, of course, that is simply allowing the paranoid sadfan in me to run rampant.
There isn't anything terrible about the animation. Most MOE product tends to be bright, colourful and crisp, and the character designs are done reasonably well. It is just unfortunate that they were used for a show like this. Ah well. Its happened now, it can't be unhappened.
In conclusion: I find it hard to even recommend CosPrayers as the kind of show you could watch when you have nothing better to view. With any luck, they'll release an artbook or two, and you'll be able to see the pretty pictures without being exposed to the show's awfulness.

| Cosprayers is your typical Sailor Moon clone, where a bunch of pretty girls in uniforms fight against an impending evil threatening to destroy the world. Though only 2 episodes came out so far, you can pretty much tell how the series is going to go. The animation and sound are decent, but there are just too many flaws in this series to be worth watching. The good thing is, it's only 12 eps and each ep is 12 minutes long. So if you do decide to watch it, you won't be wasting too much time.
