| They call themselves the “Lovely Angels.” Uh, yeah. The apparent selling point of this anime is that two women, complete opposites of each other, must work together in order to complete dangerous missions. I suppose that’s the reason for the hentai-like title. Kei and Yuri are a “dirty pair” and flash is probably meant as a promise to provide loads of fan-service (they keep that promise too). Get it? Uh, yeah.
Basing an entire sixteen episodes on such a vapid premise is, well, meaningless. The characters just aren’t up to snuff. Yuri is one of the dumbest characters I’ve ever come across. Yeah, that’s saying something. Despite her responsibilities as a member of the 3WA, her biggest concerns are going on dates and fashionable clothing. And what’s worse, the bulk of her dialogue is spent boasting of how pretty she thinks she is. Kei is the better character and she’s evidence that psychos are best with red hair. She reminds me of Lina Inverse, but without the charm.
The story aint good, either. It’s divided into three arcs, six and five episodes for each respectively. Despite that each installment are only a few episodes long, there are fillers in the first two arcs, and the third is completely episodic. However, the last part was the best in the entire OVA being that it was the less tedious half and the humor upped a notch. To its credit, some episodes are better than others, and there was even a smirk-worthy episode that poked fun at magical girl shoujo. But after all is said and done, Dirty Pair Flash is decidedly below average. I even found it to be quite boring…. the many action sequences couldn’t save this. Not recommended.

| Dirty pair flash is much better than the original TV series, and probably the original OVA series as well. This one composes of 3 mission, 2 mission of 5 episodes and the other of 6 episodes, there were still fillers though needless to say during each mission, but overall, much more solid story than the TV series and more fun to watch as well.
Much improved animation is the first thing that strikes you, it has the animation quality of a movie and I was impressed, the sound was good as well, though again, like so many other anime, nothing special at all, nonetheless a 6 for having not cause any trouble or annoyance.
The characters were pretty different from the original in terms of design, but the personality was mostly the same, if not better. Loved it when the 2 girls quarrelled. Basically – more sexy, more action, or smooth and more funny. There were 2 semi-nude scenes where you get a peak at the private body parts and I was quite shocked to be honest, very brave.
The quality of all aspect of DPF OVA was consistent throughout all 3 missions – very good.
This is a MUST for all dirty pair fans, if you haven’t seen the TV series, don’t worry, you haven’t missed much at all. But still, this was not as good as I liked it to be, purely because I’m not a fan of girls with guns.

| Von Dirty Pair Flash habe ich um ehrlich zu sein nicht allzuviel erwartet und die erste Episode (die inhaltlich nicht mehr als schrecklich war) ließ in mir nicht gerade viel Hoffnung aufkommen. Glücklicherweise steigert sich DPF von da an immer mehr und die folgenden Episoden sind um einiges besser und spaßiger. Die Serie geizt nicht mit knalliger Action und gestaltet sich in den meißten Episoden sehr turbulent. Waffengefechte und Explosionen sind an der Tagesordnung wobei kein Auge trocken bleibt. Es gibt auch ein paar Fun-Episoden die ohne Action auskommen aber dennoch unterhaltsam sind wenn man die Charaktere bis dahin lieb gewonnen hat, was aber nicht sehr schwer fallen dürfte schließlich bekommt man 2 gut gebaute Mädels präsentiert die nicht mit ihren Reizen geizen und auch für ein bisschen Fanservice zu haben sind ;). Dirty Pair Flash ist eine gelungene OVA-Serie die besonders für Action-Fanatiker empfehlenswert ist die es krachen sehen wollen, denn zumindest in dieser Kategorie kann man dieser Serie keinerlei Vorwürfe machen.

| Parted into three separate "missions" this anime rocks! Oh, well a little to much fanservice though...
It's an anime showing a lot of western influences, but despite that, it's really good.

| I had very high hopes when I started to to watch this series but unfortunately they were not met. The plots are not too bad and the story flows nicely but I would have liked to see more action. Sure there's action in there even now, but somehow it doesn't have good enough impact for me. Another point is the animation which isn't too great.
On the other hand I enjoyd the final episodes quite a lot (Pink Sniper was just great). They don't have a bigger plot to connect them. I think that maybe Dirty Pair works better with action-packed, stand-alone episodes than with bigger plots.

| This one is kinda hard to rate. Part of me wants to give it a 9.0+ while part of me wants to rate in the 7 range. DPF is a fun action\comedy series that has two, very cool, main characters. When the show starts off it holds very closly to its story line but as the episodes go on, they become mini-stories in of themselves. Depending on what you like this could be good or bad.
While the story is flowing well (id say first 11 episodes) you can easily watch 5-6 eps in a sitting, but after that it becomes more of a chore to get through the remaining 5.
When it all comes down to it, dirty pair flash is all about the Kei and Yuri crime fighting team, their misadventures, how they pretty much have to blow everything in their way up to complete their goal, and how their friendship grows with time.
If you're into an easy-going, non-emotional, tough girl shoot-em-up comedy series this is right up your alley.
