| Based off of 51 episodes:
Keroro Gunso is one of the better episodic comedy animes out there. While there are a few boring episodes from time to time, on the whole, this anime is very entertaining, funny, and cute!
The story begins when a group of alien frogs are stranded on Earth. Their goal? Of course, complete world domination. Nevertheless, their platoon leader is a lazy frog who has an obsession with building Gundams. That, and the fact that he is somehow subdued by the family that first find them. As a result, him and his whole platoon decide to set up base there.
The progression of the story is basically a two steps forward, two steps back type of thing. The Keronians come up with some wild plan (they have a lot of great high-tech stuff), but for some reason or another (often due to funny and entertaining reasons) the plan fails, and they have to start over. This may seem a bit pointless to watch so many episodes for, but the strongest point lies in the character cast.
There are 3 humans in the family, 5 main Keronians, and a side set of other human characters that each adopt a Keronian. Well, they found them first. Aside from that blue haired bi-polar girl, I loved every single one of these characters. Each Keronian has an obsession. Keroro - Gundam models, Tamama - candy, Giroro - Natsumi, Dororo - peace and love, Kururu - devious sinister devices. As a result, we have a very funny combination of possibilities that can happen! Each episode is definitely different from the rest, but still consistent with the main idea.
Keroro Gunso is definitely a big hit. It is quite popular in asia right now, and for good reasons. While it is most likely aimed towards younger kids, I feel that the older audience can feel more relaxed and get a nice laugh out of this one. While I reviewed this anime at episode 51, I will definitely continue to watch this on a daily basis.

| Keroro Gunsou is one of the best currently running light-hearted crazy-comedy series, and it's showing no signs of stopping. Originally a teenage manga (filled with pop culture references and parodies that only older people will get - sort of like America's Animaniacs and the sorts), it has been transformed faithfully into a children's show by Sunrise, and by that demographic it doesn't mean that the older population can't enjoy it as well. It's ratings average about 9.0% on Japanese televison - well over 95% of every other animated material airing at any given time. A major cash cow for Sunrise, but more importantly a zany and successful cult classic. Keroro Gunsou isn't to be missed by any anime fans who enjoy a dose of barrier-breaking humor and destruction-prone antics.

| Now up to episode 85 and going strong (it doesn't end at 26), Keroro Gunsou is the longest running pure comedy anime I've seen, although One Piece could be counted as one...
The reasons it's gone for so long are obvious:
It's a children's show
with Morals like, you should do your homework, clean your room, help with the laundry
It's Light, a fun comedy for most
It has some Originality
with Great characters, appropriate for kids
So, I like Keroro Gunsou.
There are a lot of bad episodes out of 85, but it's an anime very well worth watching, and I'd highly recommend it to any anime fan looking for a good comedy.

| I haven't had this much fun and laughs watching an anime in like more than a year since Full Metal Panic Fumoffu. I was told by friends to watch it but I thought this was a childish and stupid anime, hence I delayed watching the first episode for half a year. What a huge mistake it would have been if I had decided to not watch this at all like I had originally planned. Keroro Gunsou is pure lighthearted comedy and extremely enjoyable.
The story is not new however. Earth suffers from an alien frog invasion but after Keroro and his subordinates are abandoned they end up liking living in Earth. Simple story indeed, but very well carried out with lots of Gundam parodies. The characters and the comic content is just enough to make this anime one of the best I've seen.
Forget the useless psychological stuff ala Evangelion, forget the dramatic scenes of cheesy dramas, and forget about reviewing this with oscar-like mentality. Keroro Gunsou is an anime made to entertain the audience with pure comedy blended with an enticing plot and a collection of amazing and hilarious characters. The comedy is not tainted with stupidity or senseless humor ala Hollywood, it's actually a witty and lighthearted comedy.
I seriously recommend watching Keroro Gunsou if you like comedy or want to have your mood lightened up. Thumbs up!

Update: This series has become a superb version of Pokemon with regards to its length and shallow story development. Still very enjoyable.

| Funny, no, hilarious! I LOVE this anime. It's so stinkin' funny, and all the frogs crack me up. Watch this anime soley for laughs, don't expect a story, character development or anything like that from Keroro Gunso, which is a must watch!
Animation- The animation is great. All of the characters have great designs, including the frogs. xD It's got pretty fluid animation overall.
Sound- I don't really like the opening or ending, they're a bit... errr... weird. o_O Afro Gunso? Oooookay. But besides that, the voice acting and sound effects are tops. I love the voices of all the characters, they match so perfectly.

| Before I start this review, let me tell you one thing: I first saw Keroro dubbed in Chinese, where I currently reside in Taiwan. Thus, story may be a bit different due to translation errors - but hopefully not.
Keroro Gunso is an excellent anime, and quite worthy of viewership.

| This is such a ridicously funny anime! Frogs that are into anything Gundam like. It's very cute and I wish cartoon network would pick it up lol. If you watch a lot of Gundam, you'll love this show. My favorite character is the red frog. He carries around the Gundam bazooka and has the newtype ability. He's always saying he has something to protect. But check out this show. It's some so different. Very refreshing. And the animation is crisp clean, however some of the characters (the humans) could be better but they look good to pass on the show. They're not as detailed but perfect for this show. I have no idea why I even bugged talking aobut that. and by the time you watched all this. The intro and ending songs should be stuck in your head! Mwhahaha

| Keroro starts out with a very catchy opening song and introduces some delightful characters. Keroro is like a new kid in a candy store. He soon learns about the Earth's culture and the hazards of daily life.
Yet the... can I call them "frog people"? If that is politically correct, who are soldiers of an invasion force sent to earth that retreated and left behind five of the crew members, are still intent on conquering the world with no means or resources to do so.
It's a light hearted comedy with very nice character designs. The dialog is bordering on insanely humerous and the lively bunch of frog critters and their human friends are very entertaining to watch.
Having already mentioned the opening song, the bgm music is pretty much bland... the ending track was decent but you'll definitely get a kick out of the opening track it's hiliarous!
The characters interactiveness and honest approach to situations is comedy first necessity, therefore it does it seamlessly like second nature. Then the characters themselves bring a fresh perspective from each of their unique personalities.
Even with a bland story and plot and the animation mid-range, it still was a very enjoyable anime to watch. It made me smile a lot and laugh a few times. Funny stuff.

| This show should comes with a health warning, that people might suffer from uncontrollable laughter by watching it!
Call this a wacky show is a rather understatement...this one is loaded with just about all sort of gags that'd remind you of many other shows and makes you laugh like crazy at the same time!

| Keroro Gunso is one of the funniest anime series I've seen in a while--it has a lot of good laugh out loud moments and a entertaining cast that play off each other really well.
The story starts with Sgt. Keroro, member of an advance team for an invasion of Earth by frog-looking aliens, getting discovered accidentally and captured by junior high students Natsumi and Fuyuki Hinata. Although for a minute it looks like their mom, who hates animals, is going to make him into frog nabe, he becomes part of the family, getting shelter in exchange for doing household chores when the invasion is called off and he's marooned on Earth.
It's a hard series to describe, but the animation is well-done if not spectacular, the voice acting is good, there are lots of obscure anime/game references, and the cast is great. There's Natsumi, the kawaii older sister who was nicknamed "the Devil" in elementary school and beats down Sgt. Keroro when he slacks on the housework, her younger brother Fuyuki, who's obsessed with aliens and the occult, Private Tamama, Keroro's split-personality subordinate, and a host of other insane characters that makes it fun to watch. The insanity of the cast reminds me a little of Urusei Yatsura and it makes it fun to watch...if you like comedies, it's definitely worth checking out.

| A very cute anime based on the manga of the same name--filled with pop culture parodies (With lots of references to Gundam models), Keroro Gunsou is a fun, wacky anime. It's made by the same guy who did Arcade Gamer Fubuki.
