| Just one word: Beautiful! And I mean this in all regards. Animation is pretty, and the setting looks stunningly beautiful. Beautiful designs for everything. The music, gorgeous, a Saint Seiya trademark. Story: This movie is SEIYA'S story. Yes, the other characters make a cameo, and that's what irritates a lot of people. Everything is focused on Seiya, hjis motives, his life, his passion, it's all very beautiful and we get a lot of development for him and Saori. Sure, I'd love to see more of Shiryu and Ikki (who doesn't?), but I'm positive we will see more of them in future installments.
Character: Seiya and Saori get a lot of story. Touma is also an interesting new addition, which I'm sure will lend a helping hand, replacing the gold saints.
Value: I've watched this various times, and I still get pumped up with it. It's beautiful and exciting at the same time.
Enjoyment: This is a joy to watch.

| Being a huge Seiya fan, I was really happy to have been able to not only watch Tenkai-hen, but also to fansub it. That said, Tenkai didn't live up to what I had hoped it would have been, and parts of it make me wonder how much Kurumada really wanted it to be like this too. Tenkai-hen assumes that the viewer has seen the TV series, Hades ova, and read the manga in full; as there are no character introductions or backstory present. The movie begins after the conclusion of the hades manga so more casual viewers will have to take some things at face value. The sound is beautifull and the animation prestine. All the original seiyuu are present, though their age is noticable, especialy in shiryu. The story itself isnt as exciting as I had hoped, although there are a handfull of well-done fight scenes. Focusing mainly on Seiya with the other bronze boys making more of a cameo apperance then anything elese, the conclusion to the movie left me with somehwat of a sour taste. Is this really the end? What about the other saints? This is what came to mind as the last scene faded out, and I'm sure simmilar things will come to you too. In the end, more Seiya can't be a bad thing, but this movie will be a little to disjointed for all but the most hardcore fans.

| As a hardcore fans of Saint Seiya. I find overtune is a real shock of all times. The animation was cheap computer graphic that deserve no more than 7. I am really upset with this quality. Also, the picture was too dark on some scene. The sound was too nostalgic. I really mean it. You can hear the old voice actors for all Saints Seiya gangs. However, the reason I say nostalgic because you can guess about the ages of the Seiyuu. The super move such as Rosan Shoryu Ha really tell you the voice actors are old. I told myself that the Seiyuu for Shiryu suppose to dubbed Libra saints (when he is old) instead of Dragon Shiryu. The voice actors for Seiya still did a good job. But not for Hyoga, Shiryu, and Saori. They should get a new team. These ancient Seiyuu should be remove from the frontline and stay in the reserve (I make a comparing to military terms, in the other word, they should either dubbed 50 years old characters or retire by now). Saori make a real different. Her voice is no longer confident teenage, but turn to be a grumpy old auntie instead. It make me wonder, when the voice of Artemis, who supposed to be older sister of Athena sound like she is the daughter of Saori voice actress intead of her older sister. Now, I move to the story, the story supposed to be final (but may be not, they might coming up with something else). I don't want to say any spoiler, so after you watch this anime I believe you suppose to think the same way as I did. The only thing that annoy me is the armor. The 5 Bronze Saints supposed to wear Kamui (God Cloth). Somehow they still wearing a bronze cloth. Where are their Kamui? Did they lost it or they run out of cash, so they sell it to a secondhand dealer or something. The 3 gays opponents are mediocre. It make no different from the last 4 OVAs. Characters, hooray more gays will be torture in this anime. Shun is the frontrunner on the list of Kurumada Masami. How? (I can not give spoiler out). Who?, well I wish I know the name of that faggot saint as well. The first 2 gays saints die in vain and did not even tell their names to the audiences. What a sad unknown pretty soldiers (pretty pathetic, I means). The characters are mediocre. The highest points belongs to the collectible values. Why? Coz I am a fans of Saint Seiya so I will collect them. If you are not, well it might go down to 1. Enjoyment, not really, and it is not as much as the first 4 OVAs. Finally, I hope you like this anime as much as I do.

| The big difference in this movie from the other previous is that it's a sequel. It's basically the same thing we have been watching over and over but with a few surprises (but don't get excited.)

| To tell you the truth I am surprised myself to be giving such a good review to this Saint Seiya outing but the movie is simply stunning. The background are gorgeous, the colours vibrant, the music splendid, the list goes on. The story itself is wrapped around in layers that you are just drawn into because of the technical magnificence at play. The character design as always with this series is simply gorgeous, in fact I can't name another anime that has such consistently beautiful characters...maybe Utena. That said, this movie or prelude, whichever way you want to call it, takes the surreal road towards an unconventional and rewarding conclusion much like the Utena movie. I personally adore the Utena movie and this one is about as good. If you are familiar with Saint Seiya see this, if you have been dying to see what all the fuss is about with this anime, which is still popular and relevant after about 20 years, this movie will draw you in completely. The other thing I wanted to add is, don't see this expecting many fighting scenes; although they are gorgeously choreographed the fighting takes a backseat to allow Seiya as a character to come out of his shell and the beautiful Saori gets some new layers to her character. A must see.

| After almost 15 years the story of the Athena's saints have a sequel with this movie.
The story is the usual one: Seiya and the others saints fighting with their spectacular super powers and protected by their armors to save their goddess Athena (Saori-san).
This movie could have been much better in my opinion.
It's not too bad but it is focused only on Seiya while the others saints are only appearances. Then there are some boring things and flashbacks that slow the action (I watch Saint Seiya only for its action part and its spectacular fighting tecniques).
The animation is very good and the characters' design, even if it is improved, is fortunately very similar to the old one.
The fighting scenes are awesome (I wanted more though). What bothered me more than anything else is that they don't show the final blow beetween a saint and an enemy and they only show the winner at the end. Why this? Spectacular fighting is the core of Saint Seiya and they skipped one of most interesting thing.
The music is good and it perfectly suits the old Saint Seiya's atmosphere.
Summing up a not bad movie, not a good one either, with animation and sound its strong points. More action would have made it a better product.
But as an old Saint Seiya fan, I can't give it more than 5.

| La pelicula es inconclusa.. no tiene un final completo... ademas contiene muchos dialogos, y se les pasa la mano con los escenarios, no esta claro en donde se hacen las luchas. Y la aparicion de los santos excepto Seiya es vaga.
