| Like most harem anime, this one has the typical almost useless leading male character surrounded by beautiful girls. Fortunately, Yukinari does have enough guts to actually try and help out when necessary, but he is still too weak to really do much! Watching Miharu eat her first banana can make you wonder if it may go beyond just ecchi! If you want a harem/ecchi/comedy/love-romance anime, I definately think Girls Bravo is one of the more entertaining ones!

| Really quickly I will tell you about this series because season one is a bore. (season two isn't much better). The story which could have been good, decides not to go that way. Instead it relies on lame jokes, and fanservice to try and make this a decent anime.
The animation was well done I must say and this isn't its only saving grace. The character design was nice and the backgrounds were crisp and very colorful. Yukinari (the main male character) was boring but everyone else was nice to look at. Decent facial expressions and everyone was very nicely defined in their desgin.
The other nice thing about this anime was that it had great sound. The music was really good. I enjoyed listening to the opening and the end credits several times which most of the time I skip. The main reason I docked it was the voices were sometimes pretty bad.
The storyline was flat and had no depth at all. The first season really was bad. You could seriously make this three episodes long and have just as much story. Girl comes from another planet that has hardly any guys, and guy is so scared of girls it gives him a rash. Guy can only touch one girl who happens to be girl from another planet. End of story. While I am thinking about it you know what really ticks me off? Harems that you know from the first episode who the guy is going to end up with, and this anime fits that mold perfectly.
Honestly, I hated the two main characters Miharu and is anime. Typical, boring, no depth, and lame!!!! Yukinari is so scared of girls and he gets a rash because of it. Why do the guys in harems have to all be pansies!?! Miharu is the very typical ditzy pink character. Why do pink hair people always have to be this sterotyped? I did like a few of the supporting characters like Kirie but that is about it. They did not try and break the mold in this series and it shows.
As much as I slammed this anime, I did watch all of it and that does say something, but I would not buy them. It did pass some of the time though and that I give it a passing grade of a C-.

This is your somewhat typical harem story. However Yukinari the protagonist of the story has some bad relationship with females, because he has female-phobia. However he seems fine with only Miharu.
Well the strong point of the story i must say is the story. The story is just funny. I mean come on a bath tub that teleports you into a different world. How weird and stupid is that. Oh well you got to start somewhere i guess. But the other world has only 1/10 male population. Okay now we're getting somewhere. So being in the other world for a while causes some problems so. Yukinari goes back to his own world. However Miharu came along too. Yay now the story truly begins now.
So basically its just Miharu getting use to Earth now. So this is where all the comedy parts start. Yup somewhat funny i guess to get me to laugh. However what was not great is how they introduced each character. I guess the only one was Kazuharu yes our main perv for this harem anime. What's even weird is that he's allergic to men opposite of Yukinari. Awkward... However he's also the rich guy.
Now what was really bad was making season 1 and season 2 separate. I don't know if this was intentionally done. If it was that was stupid. But then again this is season is just ecchi. As in season two it went beyond ecchi. So overall this is just one of your typical harem/echhi anime.

| A typical brainless fanservice filled harem serie. Stupid charaters doing stupid things, that pretty much sums up my thoughts on this serie. Girls Bravo season two is a little bit better but not by much.

| A beautiful story of a boy whose small stature has lead him down a road of bullies from both boys and girls, combine with a slight type of fear of women, finds himself thrown into a world populated almost completely by women and meets a compassionate young lady. When he makes this way back to Earth she follows and an adventure begins. Interesting characters, wonderful artwork and a seemingly simple but creative storyline make this story inviting and worth the watch.

| Girls Bravo is a 11 episode long harem anime made in 2004, containing plenty of fan service and not much else.
The graphics and animation of Girls Bravo lacks both in detail and in quality. This has resulted in many scenes becoming far less enjoyable to view as they could have been, and ruined a number of fan service scenes. Some of the exaggerated character motions and actions do add to the entertainment, however.
The theme songs of Girls Bravo were good to listen to, but the background music is barely noticeable. The voice overs are quite well done, although it wasn't overly impressive, given the simplicity of the characters.
There isn't much storyline in Girls Bravo - a majority of which is covered in the first three episodes. Most are short single episode stories, containing plenty of fan service and some humour, but not much substance.
Due to the simplicity of the personalities of the characters, there isn't a lot of character development in Girls Bravo. A high number of characters are introduced throughout the anime, but their personalities remain fixed from start to finish.
Despite all its shortcomings, Girls Bravo is a very entertaining anime. The constant fan service, exaggerated character actions and animation, and humour makes it far from boring. The anime is only 11 episodes short, but it was more than sufficient to cover all the events and develop all the characters. Definitely an anime for the adult audience, Girls Bravo is definitely one to watch if you're a fan of fan service.

| When I saw the first 15 minutes of this show by mere chance, I thought to myself "this has to be the worst anime I have EVER seen." But by the second episode, I found myself enjoying it quite a bit.
The show takes the whole "guy who can't take advantage of girl" to a whole new level. This guy....physically CAN'T. He's actually allergic....to women. I'm pretty sure that one's a new low. And he gets abused like, well, physically and verbally to the point you couldn't even call him human.
As I watched the first fifteen minutes of this show, I stared in disbelief that I was supposed to feel any sympathy or pity for this guy. He brings wimp to a whole new level, and yet is still surrounded by hot chicks.
But as I watched more and more of the show, I realized, it's not supposed to be believable. This isn't the type of show where you're expected to sympathize with the plight of the lead. The situations brought about in the show are so, so far beyond reality, that it quickly distances the viewer from that aspect. Rather, I found myself laughing hysterically at the total ridiculousness of everything that transpires.
Really think this may be the best harem out there. Some like their harem with a touch of believability and a grounded feel, so that they can start to live the fantasy. But let's face it, it's not going to happen to any of us unless we're named Brad Pitt. This show just had fun with every aspect. Not to mention it was filled with hot girls. Definitely the best modern harem IMHO. Worth a shot.
Face it. We're better off pretending the cornerstone Tenchi OVA never had a third series. Go watch something off the wall like this instead. You won't regret it.....probably.

| Despite people general downgrade opinions about this serious, all in all I thought it was hillarious. The completely ludicrous situations that result from this slap-happy, ecchi style anime are really quite funny. If rating were based purely off animation quality and sound (As in the "visual" experience side) this anime would get pretty good ratings. The only downside is that the sloppily written story line is more or less a minor detail to kindof tie the series together so that it didn't end up like Excel Saga (which despite what people say, it truly has no plot. ;P )
I think the replay value on the anime is fairly high, and both the English and Japanese soundtracks are amazingly well done. It's well produced, it just lacks the depth (to be honest it really has no depth at all) to make it a truly top notch anime. I see it more as one of those anime's you pop in after you watch one of the greats which are all really depressing. (Just look at the top 5 on this website.... if it doesn't involve swordfighting its a really sad anime theme overall.)
For enjoyment though, I give it TWO THUMBS UP! It's a great series to just kick back too if you feel like watching randomness!

| Plot? What Plot? That should be the description for this anime. The entire first season merely serves to put the characters in situations in which bouncing boobs, naked girls, and panties can be shown.
The introduction of Seiren (a place where, of course, 90% of the population is women who are, of course, desperate for men) and the plethora of girls with boobs out of proportion to their body should give you an early indicator that this anime serves mainly as fan service. There is, quite literally, NO plot. None. Every episode is merely a "what can we do to get the girls to strip or do something sexual?" and when that fails: "lets introduce a new girl we can then strip!".
The whole plot device of Yukinari's rash from touching women is incredibly stupid. Not only is it completely unrealistic, but it is never explained why Miharu doesn't give him a reaction.
As to the characters; every character is pretty cliche harem-anime fodder: the kind Miharu, the meek and weak boy Yukinari, the violent girl, the lolita girl, the meek girl, the aggressively sexual girl, etc.
The one character that, in my opinion, was completely overdone was the requisite "rich wanna-be playboy". Fukuyama takes this to a whole new level; he literally rapes girls on screen with no consequences beyond a slap on the face by the girls in question.
The soundtrack is mediocre at best; doesn't detract or add anything to the anime. The animation was pretty good, however.
Despite the technical flaws, I think the anime was rather enjoyable; it was funny at times and doesn't require any investment by the viewer. This is merely a sit-back-and-watch type anime, no thinking is neccessary. Harem fans will enjoy this anime; for a harem anime it is a bit unique.

| Yukinari Susaki is an unfortunate young man. Not only is he small, insecure, and utterly unremarkable, but years of being picked upon by girls has resulted in him developing an allergy to them! Things really get interesting when he stumbles through a gate in his bathroom to a world called Sarin, a planet of nearly all women...
Girls Bravo is a well designed ecchi anime with good picture and sound quality. If you like this genre, and don't mind the fact that in the states it would probably be rated NC-17, then you will enjoy this series.

| Superb animation, bright color and details. Tons of fanservice but it's well done if you're into that kind of thing--I saw the unfogged version. Usually it was pretty funny too, and the series overall is entertaining. I found it a little boring in the first half, but it got more enjoyable later on as the characters started developing a bit.
It really is a lot like Love Hina combined with traits from some other series. Except it's not as good as LH and it's a really short season with no plot. There's subtle romantic undertones but it's not explored at all--perhaps in 2nd season? The main guy is a little wimp but he's innocent and good natured enough, typical nice guy in a harem flick. The girls all have their unique charms. There's also a good villain/foil but it's nothing serious, that's why I liked this lighthearted series.
There's a tiny amount of development in the relationships between the characters, but it doesn't end up going anywhere in this season. There just aren't enough episodes to do much, especially since most of them are disjointed fillers. But they are fun nonetheless for the most part if you don't expect too much. Most likely it will make you smile and laugh and give you a good time.
I enjoyed the soundtrack a lot, and the OP is my 2nd fav after Love Hina's. Often I even watched the OP instead of fast forwarding it, as it's a nice little opening to watch. Music is also used to good effect in the episodes themselves at the right moments, for comedy or evil or whatever else comes up. A decent series, and one not requiring much time commitment so I would say check it out.

| Girls Bravo is the ultimate gift to a males' dirty side. It has everything which will placate that side of a male - nudity, sexual jokes, perveted men groping girls... you name and it has it. To quote a fellow reveiwer - such anime series appeal to lowest common denominator of the loser inside us. And it succeeds in doing so brilliantly.
And I will not deny it - I enjoyed part of this anime tremendously. I had just got off an exam and a load of written assignments. And in the mood of something rabid - Girls Bravo was just what the doctor had ordered. Brainless and 100% nonsense - quite enjoyable. But in the end - it is analogous to a X-rated movie.

| Invariably, it seems, that anything of this type is compared to Love Hina, and said to fall short of that ideal. Standing on its own merits, Girls Bravo is a play on the two pervert types; the traditional, unashamed to like girls Kazuhara Fukuyama, and the wimpy but horny Yukinari.
Women have been cruel and mean to Yukinari Sassaki all his life. As a consequence, he has developed gynophobia - a fear of women. When a woman touches him, he breaks out in hives. One day, while bathing, he finds himself in the bathroom of an alien woman named Miharu. She doesn't set off his allergy. The problem is, the planet is 90% women. Returning to earth, Miharu and Yukinari set off on a series of misadventures beginning with meeting the school pervert, Kazuhara Fukuyama.

| If they made this into a hentai, Girls Bravo would have been much better. With the level of nudity (uncensored version) and blatant sexual tension shown, this basically has no difference from hentai.
I'm sure many of you know what harem anime is. Many girls with big boobs, each with a stereotypical personality, lots of awkward situtations, lots of sex references, and a boring male lead with some dislike for tits and ass. So, let's cut to the chase, is there anything special about Girls Bravo?
Yes! I believe so. Although this is no Love Hina in terms of harem anime actually having a hint of a love story and history, this senseless harem has a lot of sexual undertones which would please those who like this genre. There are some really humorous scenes (maybe because they went really sexual with the jokes - e.g. the banana eating by Miharu lolool).
Again, don't expect too much when watching this. There is no story and there are no character developments at all. They use mindless blatant sex acts hidden in a cute cover. Miharu is really probably why I watched this anime. I have a weakness for these innocent naive girls. I expected the worst, and it isn't that bad.

| This anime has only one thing which is to give tons of ecchi. The story is too easy to understand, really there is nothing much except different ways girls are seduced and in lots of different position where ultimately those who like it will love it just for the animation. Basically if you wanted something better, there is always golden boy or Very Private lesson. This is a little inferior

| Ok now we've really seen enough of loser male with hot chicks. and this one is especially BAD. one of the worst in this genre.
first you can totally tell this is ripped version of several anime. they use the water transport from oh my goddes (Skuld), a violent girl (Naru in Love Hina), a sexy and provocative older sister (uld from Oh My G...), and much more. This anime right from the first episode lacks originality and quality. It turned me off right away.
second this anime have no characters. The main male gets rashes everytime he gets close to girls (which is just absurd). He, like every other anime in this genre, is just another slightly perverted nice guy who always gets punched by a girl. Even the main female character is just plain old nice alien girl who immediately for no reason falls in love with the main male character. Where have we seen another alien falling in love? that's right. Onegai teacher.
And what's up with that boob grabbing jerk and the wrestling girl? I mean shouldn't see get kicked out of school and go to jail for sexual harrasement? This anime crosses that fine line between allowable fanservice and too much fan service
it's doesn't get better from here at all. it just goes down hill until it really crashes hard.
Only good thing i can think of is the fact that this anime probably has more fan service than Love Hina and Ai Yori Aoshi Combined so if you are a big fan of fanservice you will like this one.
Don't watch this anime unless you have nothing else to do. there are so many better anime of the SAME GENRE like Love hina (great anime), Ai Yori Aoshi (good anime) and even Onegai Teacher (which i didn't like but sitll better than this).

| What can be said about Girls Bravo It's super ecchi it looks and sound great. Now the story part well It's pretty much strange girl shows up and craziness happens. Thats it now moving plot points no hidden meanigs no devolpement of characters just craziness and ecchi. which is a shame beacause the show just seem to go for the whats easy instead of actually working at it. I love ecchi just like the next guy but just because you want to be ecchi does not mean you have to sacifice story character just to show boobs.
(Know matter how many times I watch shows with the friend who has feeling for a friend but a strange person shows up to gain there feelings. I always fell sorry for them. I know how this ends I know the love stays unrequieted but I just cannot help but to pull for them to win out even when I know they won't. just call me a romantic I guess)

| Girls Bravo is the definition of wholesome fan service fun, the basis of this show. Why show fan service? because it attracts (male) viewers!
What girls bravo lacks in story or slow progressive character relations between the characters, girls bravo has a ton of 'assets' that may make this worth watching. The obvious thing is the amount of nakedness you see this anime, expected i suppose for this harem-type show. The animation is clear and generally crisp, to addto the good fan service, and the music is god enough to listen to. This anime is more entertainign than you think, though the comedy is generally light, predictable and may give some people a chuckle, this anime tries too hard in providing the comical factor.
Though this anime has some good interesting characters, they were developed sparesly and more attention of background was paid towards the side characters than the main characters. The fact is, the main characters' backgrounds were hardly mentioned at all, and the relationship between them is sub-par at the very best.
Though the overwhelming points for this go to the nicely designed characters, fan service factor and animation. This anime didn't suprise me in being nothing great at all, but for some good fan service relief which doesn't really cross the boundaries of hentai, Girls Bravo is right up your alley.
Overall: 6/10

| Usually I almost never reviews a series until I've watched the entire ep,
except for this one, I barely able to watch any more of this after watching few eps.
I have a doubt when this anime just released sometimes ago, now I regret watching it.
The story is another so typical love hina-hanaukyo maid tai-etc plot which is extremely overused in most today anime :
one wuzzy, good for nothing male character with plenty of cute sexy girl and a hopeless playboy rival.
to make it worse, the story are far to dumb to watch, the comedy are nothing to laugh at all (if you want comedy, better watch full metal panic : fumoffu, that's a guarantee to laugh).
since this review based on several ep, it may not reflect the entire series. maybe after I watched the whole series I might change my reviews for better (or worse).
but seeing from the chance, I might not finish it at all since I already getting sick of watching it.
*note : just because I rated this anime bad doesn't mean I hate all kind of this anime because there are few which I like very much like love hina(it's original, has a good and quite realistic story, and the comedy is enjoyable too) and mahou sensei negima.

| This is another anime I struggled to keep watching. I had serious doubts about this anime when I first heard about it, and unfortunately all of them came true. None of the characters are even remotely likable, the story is incredibly derivative and unfunny. Is unfunny even a word? As for positives well... I cant think of any real positives for it. I was going to say thank god it is only 11 eps but wait! OMG, THEY ARE MAKING A 2ND SEASON OF THIS CRAP?!?! Heaven help us all.
