| Sorry for my poor english.Just finish this anime in a shot. This anime is quite a comedy but with some romance. It will be better if more romance and touching parts are added.Overall this anime is about a boy who don't appreaciate the heroine in this story that cared so much for him AND only find that his mind is fill with her images when she left him.Quite a nice romance, comedy and cute anime.Worth watching since it is only 12 min each and it is interesting and funny every episode. The story can get very good if there are more drama between the main character and the heroine. But since comedy don't really end up with drama. So those people who like a lot of drama like KGNE may not like it.But there are still some drama but a little.Once again this anime won't take much of your time so watch it.

| There are many harem anime out there. For me they can be divided into two groups: 'made for the perverts' and 'made for normal anime fan'.
Those that are made for perverts will have noticeably stupid reason to make the story go on. ALL girls will fall for the protagonist without any reason. Moreover they will try their best to undress the girls in every episode for absolutely stupid reasons.
Final Approach features none of the above. This is comedy anime which manage to put some romance in it. For a 12 minutes, 12 episodes anime, they have done pretty good to deliver fun, comedy and some romantic moments(what do you expect anyway, they have only 12 minutes per episode to work with).
I'm the type that will immediately stop watching any anime when I notice that "This title is made to please the perverts and single guys". If anyone who's reading this and think you are the same type as me, give Final Approach a try. I can assure you that Final Approach is NOT like THAT(made for perverts) at all.

| Another one of the 5739037594 bishounen animes YAY! This is one of the shortest animes I've ever watched! Not only 12 episodes but they're only about 12 minutes each so its like a movie. The animation was done really well. The sound/music wasn't bad either. Other than that, everything else was mediocre. The anime starts off with a cute and fun touch to it but it gets pretty serious towards the end. As all the bishounen animes goes, the female lead lives together with the male lead and their relationship starts growing. The reason for staying with the male lead is a little bit different from the others when you find out about it later on in the anime. And to all those wierd people who likes to watch these animes (sadly, including myself =0) the sister is actually blood related this time so... don't even think about it... Overall it's not that great but not that bad either. I guess it passes on the bishounen genre.

| This anime left no impression on me at all. It’s been less than a month since I finished watching this show and the only thing that comes to mind is that it bored me to death. The comedy was luke-warm, the romance was almost non-existent and the ending was very hard to swallow. Sadly, when I hear the words Final Approach the first thing that comes to mind is a sci-fi space odyssey and this show wasn’t about either of those things.

| Princess soft has made another love anime, based on another H-game. If you've seen w-wish, natsuiro, its the same thing. The comedy part is there, this is certainly for light viewing, good thing for the 12mins per ep.

| There is nothing too special here...I do have a weakness for short anime, where the episodes run between 12-15 minutes, so I thought I would give this a shot. There are a few REALLY funny moments, but most of the humor falls flat. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're a fan of bishoujo anime.

| Upon seeing this anime, your first reaction might be "OH MY GOD! Another harem?!?!". That's a perfectly reasonable response, because the concept of a harem is about 10 years too old in the anime world.
Harems are a dozen a dime, and people watch them! That's why they keep making them. Taking this really really trite concept and driving it home to the average horny teenage male.
Final Approach certainly fits my description of a cheap and quick harem. It has girls (5 of them! Count!), a main male lead who isn't exactly smooth with women, a pinch of incest, a school setting and random slapstick comedy.
What sets Final Approach apart is that it sucks really bad and it doesn't really try to pretend it's better. It's quite honest and the show doesn't take itself seriously. That automatically makes it more watchable than the other 4024721047054721 harem anime out there.
How bad is it? Well the animation is pathetic. All of the artwork is pathetic too, save for the artwork of the girls. These girls "stand-out" because the background artwork and animation are so horrible.
But these girls only stand out in this show. Compared to other (better) anime characters, these characters are cliche and 1 dimensional. You have the oh-so-common sister of the male lead who loves him, a friend, an aggressive girl, a somewhat silent type...
The story is mildly interesting. Shizuka is sometimes manupilative and deviates from her usual 1 dimensional self. The random SD-nonsense mode makes the show somewhat interesting.
The music isn't particularly inspiring. It's your usually dribble about love. But hey, I kind of liked it. Whether the music is good or not, you decide. Music is a very subjective thing.
Overall, this show blows. But because each episode is so short, I didn't mind sitting through it all.
P.S: I'm amazed that you people think the animation is good. I think you people failed to distinguish between "animation" and "artwork". But even then, only the artwork of the girls was good. Notice how badly everything else lacked details? I bet this anime took less than a month to produce.

| The animation is really good. The characters are all drawn beatifully. I hope there is a continuation to it. Also the sound is pretty good, such as the character's voices and the songs.
The story is great too because it makes a seriouse thing into a funny and jet straight to the point, which is the child birth rate of Japan. Also the characters are great because there isn't the wrong type of "love" between siblings. All the characters are really well developed and straight to the point. Also the the reason for Shizuka to agree to marrying Ryo is pretty good and romantic in away.
I really enjoyed this and I think the value is pretty high, so is worth keeping. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.

| Final Approach. Another Bishoujo game to anime conversion. Sadly, it`s one of the better ones of 2004, as that year was a shoddy year for such anime. Following the 15 minute format set by Wind/HaniHani, it is a very decent anime, filled with bishoujos and chibified goodness. The audience has to realize that, in only 13 episodes and 15 minutes each, there is just no way they can stuff in a deep storyline along with a fantastic character development. There just istn`t enough time. It is a great 120 minute comedy/romance filler.
Animation: Standard at best. Final Approach`s strong point isn`t in the animation, although there are movement and the detail is actually quite nice along with a neutral character design, it isn`t going to wow audiences or anything. The chibi factor made the show for me and warrants it an 8 rating. They were hilarious. Ryo`s tantrums along with chibified versions of the numerous characters made it clear that this anime isn`t aiming for anything serious.
Sound: Opening and Ending both sung by the main character seiyuu, who also voiced Nemu in Da Capo. Generic J-pop Opening and Ending, but the fact that the animators still managed to sneak in a 1 minute Op and Ed combo in a 15 minutes series continues to mystify me. The insert song in the 12th episode was quite nice though, and sprinkled BGMs throughout made this a very solid anime.
Story: Story? What story? Final Approach centered on the comedy aspects, from MIB (men in black) to SIB (sailors in blue), to Shizuka`s obsessiveness with Ryo and the hint of a backstory with Shizuka`s and Ryo`s grandparents. Sadly, the time frame allowed no advancement of the plot whatsoever, and the 13th episode was a filler meant to put the characters in fanservicey swimsuits and wedding dresses. Hey, at least the romace part was done well.
Character: Now this is where Final Approach wins. Each character, although very static, was very memorable. Ryo`s headstrongness, Shizuka`s obssessive behavior, Emiho (Ojo`s) coolness, Miki`s lesbian tendencies, Akane`s cuteness, and Haru, one of the coolest gay buddies ever to appear in a bishoujo game anime (other than Suginame from Da Capo). Although the characters weren`t developed well enough, their antics elicited laughs and the drama towards the end was pretty well done. Cliched? Screw that, at least the characters were entertaining.
Value: Final Approach was much better than the other three bishoujo game anime. It set itself as a comedy romance, and followed that path pretty well towards the end. None of this pseudo drama crap, like the horrendous W-wish and the failed atmosphere of HaniHani/Wind. At least the characters were given nice screen time, and it wasn`t overly boring.
Enjoyment: Watch this anime. It`s a good use of 2 hours, and it`s a great anime to cheer someone up with. I found it very enjoyable, moreso than the other 15 minute block anime.
Final Approach, I think was the best bishoujo game anime of the year 2004.

| I'm not fond of love stories but this is an exception because of the comic elements. Although some scenes and events were exaggerated, I still recommend this.
Animation: the animation is superb, the character designs are good
Sound: It really didn't catch my attention, but not bad
Story: It is not typical, the way it goes is smooth and direct to the point, it keeps you guessing what will happen next
Character: The characters are likeable, the development wasn't "forced"
Value: It's worth the buy and the time
Enjoyment: It made me laugh and cry and I would definitely watch it again.

| This anime was a total rehash of just about any romance sitcom/drama that I have ever seen. The concept of the Japanese national arranged marriage concept didn't seem to work either (attributing this to the horrible plot). Over all (and as a fan of sitcom/dramas), I am very disappointed with this anime.

| Alrighty, another short anime that is more like a Ranma comedy. A variety of characters and then you have the characters that your shouldn't care for. Ranma was the original in the arrange marriage and sit com comedy, but it gets annyoing when other animes copy it. In terms of music and voices, there both pretty good. If you would like to read on, please go on ahead.

| Hmm.. err.. err.. You guy should just stop at ep.12 then it would turn out a bit better. Hmm.. but I guess I have to feel sorry for the series to have only 12 min. limited per ep.
The animation was cute as ever, as you suspect from princess Soft, it almost as it you watching clips from h-game. Animation was the only decent thing you'll got from this. Story about lost love from granparant doesn't make it any better from the first 10 ep. Also, if they only give more time and more background story to each of the girls in the school that's would have been more interesting i'm sure. As for ending. It's just tooo predictable and ep.13 was just another fanservice. This is why I gave only 7, only if they have more of this stuff (GIVE ME MORE DAMMIT) then this would have worth my time. But only cuteness in 5 girls just doesn't cut it for me.

| just like the last review said... stupid and ridiculous... and wow... i'd like to say that this anime is very overrated. i thought that the characters were pretty annoying. Sure they looked cute.. but just plain irritating. The anime did have its moments... but on the most part it didnt leave you wanting to watch the next episode. I kno that this is probably not possible for such a short series, but i just think that the plot is recycled... many girls... one guy... fate and arranged marriages just seems so overused. Not very original. The sound track was a nice one and i thought it was one of the more enjoyable parts of the anime. The thoughts running through my mind while watching this anime was "Yesss i cant wait to hear the end theme song! Its the best part of the show!".

| Stupid and ridiculous, but entertaining nonetheless.
Good animations, not anything great in particular, but the shift between normal looking and these comedic moments are great :)
Nothing special about the music, not bad, not really good. I don't think the voices suits the characters at all, which is not good. Most of them sound way off.
The characters are quite ok, I like the blond friend and Shizuka, both are great at the comedic scenes :)
Final Approach starts off very weird, like the rest of the show, and you can see from the start that it's mainly focused on comedy/parody.
Each episode is about 10minutes long, which doesn't give it so much time for things to happen, but still alot happens. From the beginning it's mostly comedy as I said, which I loved, it's really fun moments and I laughed alot. I think they should have sticked to the comedy all the way out, instead of throwing in these romantic "serious" moments closer to the end, which just didn't fit at all and only felt overbearing.
It is a quite ok show, and considering the episodes are only 10minutes it was something you could see between the small breaks of other series. It didn't have much of a story at all, but in a show like this you don't really need one either. It is a nice anime to watch when you want something easygoing.

| Another shoujo anime by Princess Soft. Same as W-Wish, Final (To be precise: Phi-naru) Approach is another 13 episode, 12 minutes long anime. I've seem these 12 minutes, 13 episodes animes before, and as expected, it is very disappointig and I believe that this anime is overrated.
The story starts with a setting of political marriage. The type of marriage system presented in here is never going to be possible. I mean, if there is such system, disvoice rate will definitely go to be none. But how is it possible for the government to know every person's personality in the country? That doesn't make any sense. We can also see how Ryo become such an idiot that thrown away such a golden opportunity to know a pretty and rich girl that match perfectly to his personality. We haven't seem such an idea, so there's some "originality" that anime fans wanted to see. That's a good thing. (Which only be possible in male's fantasy.) But when it comes to the plot, the misadventure of Ryo becomes comedic, and I hate to see how Shizuka keeps bugging Ryo rather then thinking a plan to make Ryo to fall in love with her. In my opinion, she is wasting her time, and even worse, she made herself just like a repellent that was made only for making fun of Ryo's character. I can not stand her buging and I wanted to yell "Stop bugging him!!" Other episodes are the same, which only shown how Shizuka wastes her time and fails to convince Ryo that she is a reliable person. So basicly nothing much happens until some twists that makes Shizuka and Ryo separate away. That is where I start to hate Ryo. I wonder what the hell he's thinking. And he is such an idiot that he never understand other people's feeling until the end. He just being so stubborn and single sighted and never consider how the girl feels. But if that really happens, everyone is going to react like that. So there's some bad application between what can happened in fantasy and what is expected to happen in reality. The staff mixed them together. Phi-naru approach can be a beautiful fantasy if Ryo stop react so serious and stubborn, so that Shizuka and Ryo's relationship can be developed throughout the story. Of course, the ending will still the same, that Ryo and Shizuka are suppose to be a happy couple. If this version is applicable, the whole story will become more like "Ai Yori Aoshi" then some constant quarreling as shown in Phi-naru Approach. So the basic concepts had ruined by misapplication and thus made the plot unwatchable.
One note on episode 13: That is just a fanservice episode, which neither contribute to the story nor serves as an aftermath. So basicly, episode 12 is the end of story.
In general: NO GOOD!! If you have played the game, then you can watch the anime and consider to buy the DVD. This anime is not good in my book and I reget that I burned the fansub version into CD. If you like romatic comedy, try it if you dare.

| to be honest with myself,i'd never thought that short episode animes were entertaining, but Final Approach just made me want more after each episode was finished.of course there are down sides to this anime but i still thoroughly enjoyed this anime.
one thing i didnt understand in FA was how can Ryo have such a sudden change of heart.one minute he doesnt give a damn about Shizuka and likes Emiho, then the next he goes to bring Shizuka back after she went back to her old school!
the animation in FA is really really REALLY good(well...to me anyway)!it may not be drawn from all those high tech stuff but the characters, background and setting are all REALLY beautiful!!
the music in this anime is really nice.i really liked the ending song...as well as the opening song.
the voices of the female characters are SO cute!i LOVE it,especially Shizuka and Akane.
well...the story didnt really appeal to me in the first couple of episodes because it was so random!i mean, come on!a random girl flies through ur window wearing a Kimono while u and ur sister are having dinner and goes "i'm ur fiancee starting from now on"??!!that's totally INSANE!!..but i got used to it after a couple of episodes and found all these randomness very funny!!
all the characters in FA all have unique personalities and theyre all really funny in their own unique way.Miki is just a very funny lesbian(well, she seemed like a les because she'sinterested in girls),i like her the best, even though she doesnt play such a big role in this anime.
Overall,Final Approach is a very, funny and entertaining anime which will make u enjoy it no matter how many times u watch it,And i dont think the storry is finished so im looking forward to more FA(hopefully theres more to come)!!
Highly Recommended to all!!!

| Final Approach is a decent comedy/romance show. The fact the the episodes were only 12 min. long was somewhat of a detrement. Despite this fact I though this show was very fun to watch. Its always good to get a quick laugh here and there. If you want to know more read my review.

| Oh My good!! This Anime so was funny, enjoyable and sometimes surprisely deep and warm with some touching moments! I just can´t ask for more!
In the very first episodes i felt that it will be another cliche anime, but it was not! Sure the plot have some very very crazy spots, but still very funny.
What a good surprise was this Anime for me. I loved ALL characters!. In the beggning I didn´t care to much for them, but in the middle i felt very attached to all of them. . I hope more peoples see this one and have a good surprise like I did.
The humor (with lots of crazy moments), romance and sometimes little drama seems like perfect balanced.
The characters in the first episodes are like flowers that will bloom... Please don´t underestimate it. Keep watching!
Maybe my only tow wishes is that this anime could be longer, longer episodes and it will be very good if someday they can release another season.
I gave 10 to everything except the Story that I gave 8. The story have a crazy plot, but I liked it at all because everything else was so good. The animation is very funny, you have to see by yourself. I think the strong in this anime are the Characters.
I can´t believe that this little crazy and warm anime gave me very pretty good moments. I´m really happy that I saw this one up to the end. I loved it!
I think i´m crazy, but this anime makes me cry in the Ep12. It was one of the most cute moments I ever seen. OMG, sure I´m crazy. ;) Check by your self and you will se what I am talking about.
If you are looking for a light, crazy, warm and funny anime, give it a try! You may have a good surprise like I did with this one.

| This anime was too cliche and too unrealistic and much too predictable. But it is one of those very cute and fun-to-watch-(and-can-be-done-in-one-sitting) anime series. I don't think it was meant to become one of those amazing anime classics or one to remember much about, just an enjoyable show that hits all the basic elements of a solid anime. Well, as much as it could have hit in the shorter 12 minute episode time periods it were allowed. These types of shows are definatly good to watch once in a while.
The animation was superb and the music was excellent. Lots of mini chibi characters and amusing 'black men' and 'muscle men.' The story, however, was a bit... forced. A tad out of the ordinary and doesn't seem to suit the series; the plot between boy and girl could have happened without having to add in those extreme circumstances.
The character development is to be commended, but nothing too new from other animes that belong to this genre. Cute, friendly and lovable girls that each have a different personality and attitude. The only flaw with the characters is that i hoped to see more interactions among them rather than just the main boy and main girl.
Anime definatly worth watching, but don't expect too much from it.
