| Hoi Hoi San is an 11 minuet short anime. There really isn't anything special at all about it.
Animation - The animation was average. Lots of shading which is good. Not many colors. There were no sketchy parts, they moved fluently. The characters' design has that chibi look.
Sound - There was no opening theme nor was there an ending theme. The voice acting was not bad, but not above average just normal. I liked how the noicews were there when they walked which is really appreciated because most anime doesn't really have detaied noices when the characters move.
Story - A girl that sells toys. And the toys kill bugs on their own and you don't even get to see them kill the bugs they just briefly stateit. There was no plot.
Characters - Hoi Hoi San is a toy that moves and battles others like herself. Thats really all there is.
Value - Worth one watch I guess. Not really worth another because it has nothing to offer. But its not horrible just has nothing. It's the best way I could describe it. Subtitles were good and accurate.

| This cute little 10-minute OAV fills the one purpose it has in it's creation - being cute. And perhaps it was supposed to sell merchandise, which I have no doubt it did a good job of doing as well. The action scenes with the mini robot's hunting bugs are very well animated, and the human scenes are very interesting - perhaps even more so that the bug robot fights. The human scenes are very modern, and they are almost a parody. In any case, this was a very interesting glimpse into the world of Hoi Hoi San, and I'm sure that all the loli otakus can't wait for this to actaully happen ^^;;.

| Very short, and nothing much to say.
Interesting concept for one, also nicely animated and designed. But as for story, characters and rewatch value of this anime, there isn’t much to be said.
I don’t see this becoming a series, unless there’s some consistently high level action.
Why not give this a try eh? Won’t harm you for time.

| the purpose of this ova seems to be a test to see if it could be popular as a series. I think it really could be, nothing ground breaking, but if it happens I would watch it.
Because this anime is only 13 minutes long, its really worth checking out. Its cute and you will get a good laugh or two from it.

| This is one tasty snack. At 10 minutes length there isn't much to be said seriously about this OVA, but it does have cute and funny characters, while the idea is interesting and also very funny. It's entirely too well done to be just a pointless exercise, so if this OVA is out I expect the team is already halfway done with a series (think of the competition and all that). There's good material here for a short series (about 12 episodes), so I eagerly await to see Hoi Hoi-san and Combat again very soon.

| Erm... yeah, well, I don't get the purpose of this. Ok, I'll admit, Hoi-Hoi and Combat are cuuute. But... this short OAV doesn't make any sense. The actual 'human' characters are...well...not very likable.
The only funny moments, are when the two little robots are fighting and such.
This has no story, no good characters, few interaction (unless you count robot fights... note that there isn't a single good conversation). This is all rather silly.
And not even the average animation and the inexistent music can save this. The only thing that recommends Ichigeki Satchu Hoi Hoi San is the cute little robot. I mean, if you like kittens, pink, sugar and cute anime characters, then watch it for the sake of Hoi Hoi. :p

| Now wasn't this something 'different', shall we say?! This was a heck of a lot of fun. Cute little robots brandishing autmoatic weapons blasting the crap out of nasty insects. Isn't life great?!
It was nicely drawn and the sounds HoiHoi-san made when her little boots made contact with the ground were just some of the best sound effects ever. This should've been longer than one episode, that's for sure. This feels like it was amde to be longer than one yet it's only 12 minutes long! Aw, this would've been great for a 3 or 4 episode lot. But hey, this was damn good fun. One of the better sides of experimental anime. Enjoy.

| Very enjoyable, higly cute 10 minute ova about a miniature robot girl that kills bugs and other unsightly creatures in the near\far future. Just a one-shot ova right now it seems like, Hoi Hoi-san would make a cool TV series or extended OVA. Not a ton of value, and not much substance, but it's something short and sweet that'll put a smile on your face.

| you have a 10 minute anime that is so short, without any big plot, Its fun to watch, but then the ending is abrupt. On why the dolls fight each other is unknown. The only known thing is robot dolls destroy bugs. Animation is cute, and this is no child's play movie, though the robots may make you think of it. In the end, there is really no harm in watching this, though it is kind of boring due to no big plots

| If only this thing were longer than ten minutes. Definitely worth watching and will make your day a little brighter.
PS: if you read the manga, Combat-san attacks Hoihoi-san because her programming overrides her to take out competing rivals before bugs.

| If there was such thing as a demo for anime, I'm sure this is it. It appears to be just a supplemental piece meant to accompany something much bigger. But as far as serving its purpose, which is to show off the little robot bug assassin thnigs, it does a good job.

| Right......Hoi-hoi san is an OVA that came free with a special limited edition of the manga. As such, don't expect brilliant visuals, majestic scores or earth-shattering plotlines. What you get is a 10-minute tale of Hoi-hoi san, a robot designed to exterminate the insects of 20xx that are immune to Ridsect plus plenty of random stuff happening which may or may not make sense.
There's not enough material as of yet to make a full-length TV series, but I'll be waiting. Meanwhile, I'll make do with the Hoi-hoi san PS2 game. Oodles of fun.

| Hoi Hoi-san ist eine 10 Minuten-OVA die innerhalb dieser Zeitspanne weder Spaß macht noch sonderlich viel Interesse wecken kann. Es dreht sich alles um kleine Püppchen die entwickelt worden sind um Insekten den Gar aus zu machen da diese mit der Zeit resistent gegen Insektenspray geworden sind. Zugegeben, es ist irgendwo schon was Neues aber das ändert nichts daran das es lächerlich ist und kaum ernst genommen werden kann. Es ist eine Selbstverständlichkeit das man innerhalb von nur 10 Minuten keine Plotline erwarten kann und außer dem knuddeligen Design haben die Charaktere auch nichts zu bieten. Kleine Versuche etwas Comedy mit einzubauen verpuffen wirkungslos und insgesamt 2 Minuten Geballer kann man auch nicht gerade als sehr actionreich bezeichnen. Diese OVA wirkt wie ein Prolog zu einer möglichen TV-Serie aber um ehrlich zu sein verspüre ich nicht die geringste Lust mir diese anzuschauen. Zeitverschwendung pur!

| An undeniable waste of 10 minutes. It took me 5 minutes to download Ichigeki Satchu Hoi Hoi San, twice that to watch it, and about 1/100 of that time to realize that it was complete crap. I mean, sure, you can't do much in the span of only 10 minutes, but if that's the case then why even try? Features like Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko or Hoshi no Koe accomplish scores more than what this crap does in that same amount of time or even less. It's a pretty good-looking anime, given the fact that it's just a quickie OVA, but it has literally no background music, by-the-books voice acting and its only story is revealed within the first 30 seconds by some on-screen text. There are absolutely no redeeming values to this, which could potentially have been a good idea; if it were at least expanded to a TV series I might consider it. However, as it stands I would recommend this tripe to absolutely nobody.
