| This anime compresses everything a maid-robot anime like mahoromatic or steel angel kurumi should be. In 45 mins everything has been shown in this anime and possibly not the best but not worst either.

| (Lunaranime fansubs. Good image quality for a TV-rip and Ok translation overall)
After Super Kuma-san and Hotori which won 1st and 3rd place respectively in the Animax contest, this was the only OVA missing. After watching it I think this is the worst in comparison to the other two but this doesnt prevent it from being a good and enjoyable OVA. Not as dementia-oriented as Kuma-san or emotionally demanding as Hotori, this OVA keeps the balance right and can be watched by any viewer without turning tedious.
I wish they had kept the balance in favour of the last game, that takes only 10 out of the 44 minutes but even then some funny moments and good characters makes this OVA a nice watch.
Having a robot (a topic found in countless animes) to be trained for a baseball game is original and deserves to be seen even for those like myself who are irrelevant to anything baseball related.
Graphics and sound are good, considering the budget and the voice actors are also very good (from what I read here most of them are well known).
In short, if you dont have time to watch 13,26 or 52 episode series and prefer to watch movies or OVAs you cant do better than give this a look.

| This short 44min anime is actually pretty decent consider that it doesn't try to be too serious or too comedic.
The animation has a bit of "old school" style considering this is made in 2004. But I do enjoy this art style personally.
The seiyuu cast is excellent, with Noto Mamiko doing a great job as Azusa. Her voice does bring her character out a lot. The male seiyuu is good, but it's hard to differentiate between them in such a short anime.
The story is good for its length. But it will not hold up if the anime is any longer. It's good that the anime does not good for the ecchi route, and the jokes are mostly good and wholesome. None of the jokes are forced and the seriousness of the story doesn't seem that much out of place.
Obviously it is hard to judge individual characters in an anime this short. But as a whole the characters are not that bad, each seems to have a distinct personality. Even though it is hard to learn each of the thoroughly, at least on the surface they are not annoying to the viewers.
Overall, if you are looking for a short anime and have some fun, Azusa, Otetsudai Shimasu! is a good choice. You can have some fun without dwelling into all the dramas and other bothersome things in other anime.

| The humor is geniune without any of the off-the-wall humor that makes some parody anime wacky and slapstick. The characters have good points to them. I thought for 1-shot OVA it was very entertaining and I'm not going to be critical because it did what it's suppose to do. Enjoy it!
BTW you're not reviewing the Gone with the Wind.

| It's short but it good. The idea is not a newly refresh but still make it a little bit interesting. Since it so short it doesn't have time(excuse) to explain why that her battery wasn't worn out. Maybe they just want to have a happy ending. If they make a TV version of this, I'm sure i'll be hope for more story and of coruse some more love :)

| 44 minutes is all that Azusa Will Help asks of you, and I'm afraid that 44 minutes is probably all I could have spared it. Due to its short length, AWH manages to dodge issues that would very quickly become annoying in a full TV series, and instead establishes itself as a vapid but entertaining quickie OVA.
Unfortunately, the fact that it's quick leads to just about every conceivable problem in the plot. There's only so much you can cram in with the space of 44 minutes, and as a result this anime feels horribly compressed and anti-epic. The 'big game at the end' is merely a school game against the rival team, unsurprisingly, but the lack of significance in this final ordeal makes the whole anime feel slightly wasted. Little actually goes on in the span of the anime, but it's presented in a way that makes the viewer think there is. Once you take a step back and look at the anime as a whole, you realize that not enough transpired to make the baseball quest seem like an arduous or triumphant one. Furthermore, the parts of the anime that could have been the most fun (the final game, for instance, where the viewer is simply treated to "Azusa made good use of Economy and Power mode to do well in the game") were instead glossed over in favor of useless filler scenes (fireworks at the beach). In my opinion, the very concept of Azusa Will Help is fundamentally flawed; why would any sane baseball team recruit robots to do their sport bidding? I mean, that completely takes any fun or integrity out of the game, and as much as a sports team may be composed of jackasses they're in it for the fun too. Employing robots to do one's dirty work just completely seems to remove the point.
This anime just can't seem to escape the 'maid anime' stigma. I don't exactly understand why Azusa HAD to be a maid; why not just introduce her as a cheery girl robot? Something tells me that the developers were just trying to appeal to the maid demographic fetish; but then, why is there a notable lack of fanservice in the OVA? The whole thing feels paradoxical in this regard. Azusa Will Help's titular character is every bit as vapid and submissive as one would expect an anime robot to be. The main protagonist is ridiculously generic and I don't even remember his name; sad, considering I watched the OVA yesterday. What's even scarier is that he seems to develop a crush on the robot, one of those anime relationships that never fails to give me the creeps. AWH has a potentially strong supporting cast and uses it well for the first 15 minutes, but then after that they are completely dropped in favor of Miss Maid herself, which certainly didn't bode well with me. The anime doesn't exactly present a wild or powerful cast, which is in some aspects forgivable due to its length, but one really does wonder why maids had to be brought into the picture.
Despite the fact that I found AWH technically unimpressive and overall lackluster, it was still decently entertaining on the whole. I really didn't feel like I wasted the short amount of time I spent viewing it, though I must confess there were probably better things I could have done with that 3/4s of an hour. It may be fun, but it is entirely underambitious, and I can only really recommend Azusa Will Help to a sports and/or maid anime fanatic.

| It's a cute little one-off show about a bishoujo robot maid (Is there any other type? Actually, would we have it any other way? No!!) playing baseball.
It's kind of retro in style with the Jetsons-future setting and off-beat humour and old-style robots and the whole baseball deal. Entertaining enough.

| A short but ultimately enjoyable OVA. Character designs and animation are nice but nothing spectacular and the story is not particularly notable, although i did enjoy the wonder-years like voice over. and the jokes are good for a chuckle. all in all a pleasant use of an otherwise unused 40 minutes.

| As far as really short \ single-episode ova's go, Azusa is a hit. It's cute, funny, fun to watch, and doesnt leave you feeling like you've wasted your time. There's nothing to deep about it and they leave the story pretty basic but the fact that it flows well for almost an hour says a lot about it. Kind of like ultra manaic's early OVA stunt, they could expand this into a 13-ish episode series pretty easy.

| Looking into this blindly, i didn't know what i was gonna expect. i had time to spare and i was bored, i watched this 40 minute long anime and i was very suprised.
Humour is its game and it works, Azusa is a used maid which is helping a (stuggling) baseball team. Hilarity ensues and ends up with a game between the team and their rivals with pretty much predictable outcomes.
Though, this one episode OVA shouldn't be counted for its story or major characters, heck even its animation isn't the best for an OVA. This OVA is brilliant for its high quality enjoyment, its comedy values is brilliant and there were many times when i couldn't stop laughing for a while.
Enjoy this little OVA!

| Summary: A really fun watch, worth checking out. Great voice work including the awesome Ogata Kenichi(who voices such great characters as Ranma's Genma Saotome and Detective Conan's Professor Agasa) makes this a stand out among recent OVAs. Click for details.

| A nicely done 40min (not 24min as stated by AnimeNfo) OVA. Clearly presented story, with up-to-par animation. All characters are fully developed, and each of them has his/her own value in the story. One thing worth mentioning is that the maid robot, Azusa (non-super version), is voice act by Noto Mamiko. Highly recommended to those who would like to enjoy a short, relaxing, and heart-warming anime.
