| Unlike the prior two Inuyasha movies, this one actually has some background information that is relative to the series itself.
The third Inuyasha movie is about one of Inuyasha's father's three swords which apparently is possessed by a strong demon (only a super-demon like Inu's father could control it). The sword (without a master) goes on a rampage and attempts to destroy the world.
I think this is the best out of the four Inuyasha movies in terms of action as well as plot line. It focuses heavily on Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru, the descendants that must clean up their father's left over sword.

| The best of the Inuyasha movies, Tenka Hado no Ken brings in a lot of new information to the series, unlike the other 3 movies, which make watching this movie much more interesting than the mere side-story-esque qualities of the other three movies (which could be inserted in the series without adding anything to the story).
This movie brings in much information about Inuyaha's origins: specifically, his mother and father, his birth, and lots of information about his father's ideals and personality, which we haven't seen in the Inuyasha series itself. The plot itself is also pretty interesting; tons of action, especially with Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. The development of the villian is fairly interesting, though the ending isn't too great.
The characters and the development of them are fairly typical of the Inuyasha movies and series; a bit of Inuyasha/Kagome love-tension, and Inuyasha/Seshoumaru tension.
The animation is very well done, fight scenes are typical Inuyasha fare, but with CG and other advanced techniques due to the greater budget. The soundtrack and voice actors are also typical Inuyasha fare, nothing new to hear here.
I would reccomend this movie if you are an Inuyasha fan, even if you didn't enjoy the other movies. I enjoyed this movie the most out of the 4 movies.

| The third Inuyasha movie, “Sword of World Domination”, is sadly the worst yet, having a lot of promise but failing in the execution.

| The third Inuyasha finally talks about the father of Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru.
The whole story revolves around the third sword that Inuyasha's father use to have, and who the sword would be able to destroy the world by itself.
Animation and sound is excellent as with the previous Inuyasha movies. The graphics are bright and crisp with smooth actions done to the characters.
The story is both good and bad, it is good that the movie finally develops something relevent to the Inuyasha world, rather than another monster of the day. The bad is that the execution is uninspiring. The movie starts out interesting, but the ending really left me wonder how the characters are able to solve the whole situation like that.
Again, characters development is minimal as with most anime movies, but we can certainly see a bit more depth in Sesshoumaru, and the side we see him in this movie is quite intriguing.
This is a movie geared towards the Inuyasha fans, so a certain knowledge towards the Inuyasha universe is required to be able to fully enjoy this movie.

| This movie starts off really strongly! It develops from Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru's past... so it mostly is focused on these two characters.
Animation is of high quality, everything else is characteristic of the Inuyasha TV series. Story line, boss, fightingstyle, character attitude; this could be part of the TV series itself considering the nature of Inuyasha
However, the movie real winds in such a horrible manner. I dont want to give it away. But it ends abruptly and unbelievably. Very anticlimatic and kind of ruins my impression of the whole movie...
If you are an Inuyasha fan, this movie is worth watching. If you've never seen Inuyasha, don't watch this, its not able to be seen as a stand alone movie. If you've seen inuyasha and you are like me and slightly enjoyed it, and saw it to pass time, watch this. It's a good supplement and has its merits.

| Sesshoumaru fans rejoice! Our beloved aristocratic youkai finaly gets his place in the spotlight in the third inuyasha movie. Instead of dealing with Naraku, movie 3 gives us a lot of background information on Inuyasha's mom and dad, and the relationship between sesshoumaru and their dad. The origins of tessaiga and tenseiga and talked about in more detail as well. Plenty of action with all the characters we've come to love in this long series. Watch as the two brothers deal with their problems with one another as well as try and work together in order to defeat a common enemy from their past. Very pleased.

| Well, I like this one much more than the first and second movie. What I wasn't really happy about is that Inuyasha's and Seshoumaru's fight wasn't that long. I was hoping that at least after they defeat that guy(the villain), they would have a rematch. But then, it's quite worth the watch.

| (watch a pretty good amount of the main series before watching this if you want to understand everything)
In terms of action this movie blows the previous two away. Even if you only watch InuYasha from time to time you should watch this because it is well worth it. If you read the summary then you know that InuYasha and his brother fight (which for any InuYasha fan should be enough to go watch it anyway), but this movie also gives you some background information on InuYasha, his brother and the swords given to them by InuYasha's father. If you like the whole InuYasha Kagome interaction part of the main series and not so much the action then this might not be your cup of tea.

| Like the TV series and the other movies, the basic creepy youkai villains, the heroes, and the girl. There's really nothing too great about this movie except for the sound effects, music and decent/good animation.

| ***Note this review shall be the same for all Inuyasha movies***
Unfortunately the movies do not feel as great they might as well be incorporated in the TV series as story arcs. Totally cliched and adds nothing to the main storyline. I was dissapointed enough at the ending of the series and hoped the movies might finish something but that didnt happen. Instead we get something like filler episodes that happen to be movies. Apart from the music and animation there is nothing else to praise much about.

| This is by far the best Inuyasha movie!! It gives to the fans what they want: Inuyasha vs Sesshoumaru. All with spectacular animation and sound effects. The story isn't that good, but who cares? It's damn entertaining!
If you're a fan of the manga-anime, you CAN'T miss this one.

| "NOTHING COMPARES!"
this is the best movie of inuyasha as of now. if you're a sesshoumaru-lover (like me), you'll definitely love this! i've read some reviews like this movie wasn't very entertaining because of re-doing scenes from the episode series. But, really! it's not all that! the plot is good and so as the story outline itself. i've been waiting for this movie since last year and believe me, it really was worth it! and sesshoumaru looked so cool!=)

| This is an excellent movie for fans who likes demons and action. Personally, I would prefer that the story would focus a little bit more between Inu Yasha and Kagome, like the 2nd movie.

| Well, all I can say is that it was a nice movie, but wasn't worth the time it took me to get it =/
The animation is pretty much the same as in the other two movies...
The story is nice, there were some parts which made watching this movie worth it, but all in all... okay, I guess.
Sesshomaru was portrayed in a very nice way in this movie, and Rin had a nice part, also :)
Too bad that almost NOTHING, which appered in the trailer, actually was in the movie, though -.-

| They're kind of going backwards here. This movie had even less originality to it than the previous one did.
Well, let's start with what little positive there was. The animation was pretty good. That and I can't help but enjoy the concept of nearly two hours of constant battles.
On the negative side, THIS MOVIE PRESENTS NOTHING THAT I HAVEN'T ALREADY SEEN IN THE TV SERIES!! Movies should separate themselves from the tv series and feature scenes that stick in the minds of people that watch them, and I'm already beginning to forget what all happened in this movie.
I'm a big fan of Rumiko Takahashi's work, but these Inuyasha movies just frustrate me to no end. The stories are not of the quality that they should be.
If you want to see another two hours of the Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru picking fights with one another plot, then go ahead and give this a watch. Just don't get your expectations up too high or you'll be disappointed.

| The thing about Inuyasha movies is that they have yet to really do anything seen outside the show. By that I mean animation and or story formula-wise.
For lack of a better word, this movie was probably the most boring out of any of the Inuyasha movies. And thats saying a lot considering the very tiresome Naraku & his usual henchmen are not even as much as mentioned in this feature.
To make matters worse, the animation recieves little more than a bit of a brush up. For instance action sequences are not as fluid and vibrant as scene in other TV-based anime films.
I felt more like I was sitting down for a really bland series of filler arc episodes. Thats never a good sign.

| After seeing the awesome trailer a few months ago, I was excited for this movie to come out. I had been a fan of the series until about episode 120 - I enjoyed the series but it just kept rehashing the same concept over and over. Still, movies are different than long series, so when I saw this I had to get it.
The animation in "The Sword of World Conquest" is among the best I've seen. Everything is vibrant and flashy - obviously top animation quality for a theatrical release. Theres even some CGI.
The familiar (and likeable) soundtrack was good as ever. The 5.1 surround was really, really nice - all of the explosions and slashes had the utmost clarity. The song at the end kind of sucked, though.
The story reveals more of the past between Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and their father. It was interesting how they used this past in the story to create the main villian. As for the rest of it, there really isnt any super plot twists or anything other than standard Inuyasha -fare. The action scenes were very well done, and frequent. Enjoyable, but I wont be dwelling on the story for any period of time.
The characters.. well what can you do to develop the charcters more. For those who have already seen the 150 eps + 2 movies, there really isn't a whole lot more character development that can be put in. Except, for further development of Sesshomaru's character (which I was all for. Spoilers in the in-depth.) I thought that the "character design" of Souuga at the end was kind of lame (you probably dont understand that, but you'll see what I mean).
I might watch this again if friends haven't seen it - Its still a very entertaining movie. Plus, the subs and quality of that sub (must have been DVD-rip) was very good. Its certainly worth a watch, if you're looking for a good action movie, or if you're a fan of the series, especially.
