| The main character of this manga is Minami "Ikki" Itsuki. He is a student and causes a lot of trouble . Also known as the "Unbeatable Babyface", Ikki is the leader of the gang "East Side Gunz". Upon returning home after getting his ass kicked by a gang of Storm Riders called the Skull Saders, Ikki finds out about a secret hidden from him by his caretakers/benefactors, the Noyamano sisters. The sisters are part of a group of Storm Riders called Sleeping Forest. They help Ikki regain his confidence and pride by supplying him with a pair of Air Trecks ("AT" for short). Ikki eventually settles his grudge with the Skull Saders, but in the process becomes addicted to AT. Determined to fly for as long as he can, Ikki gets sucked into the world of Air Treck.
