| The last of the four Inu movies regresses to essentially a side plot to the series that has no real relevance to the main story in the anime.
A mysterious island on which hanyou used to live reappears after fifty years. Apparently, Inuyasha and Kikyo had been to the island the last time and now must face the four demons that he failed to defeat last time.
Don't expect much in terms of character development (it seemed rushed for the new characters) and the battles are not nearly as engaging as the ones in the third movie.
Basically, this is a watch if 167 episodes and 3 movies has not left you saturated yet.

| Extremely predictable and pretty sappy, this final Inuyasha movie, while decent, is nothing too spectacular.
The animation is very well done, as to be expected from an anime with as much of a budget as Inuyasha. The soundtrack is the usual good collection of background music and soundtrack.
As to the story: it is an extremely predictable Sailor-Moon type plot where Inuyasha and friends work their way up the proverbial ladder of enemies until they finally defeat the "Final Boss", all the while saving some innocent children and such.
The characters are typical Inuyasha fare: cute, semi-annoying kids who Kagome and friends fawn over while Inuyasha is annoyed by them and plays the "reluctant" hero role.
This is reccomended for Inuyasha fans (specifically if you are a fan of the other movies) but not anyone else. Even for hardcore Inuyasha fans, you might be bored by the predictable nature of the story and characters by this point (4 movies and 167 episodes might do that to you).

| As the final Inuyasha film, it is unfortunate it had to turn out so predictably. I went in hoping that it would at least leave me with a good lasting impression on the franchise as a whole, but sadly I feel that even the most hardcore Inuyasha fan will be displeased with this effort.

| Just like the other movies of Inuyasha, this is also action packed with just a little focus on story.
I'l give a little summary about the plot. There is this island which only appeared after 50 years, and there are hanyou (half-demon and half-human) residents there which are being "imprisoned" by the 4 gods. These hanyou will not be able to leave that place as long as the scars on their backs doesn't disappear and those marks will only disappear when the gods are defeated. At first, our heo Inuyasha doesn't want to help as he has nothing to do with it but later we'll also see marks on his back so he's really involved.
Here's the question, how come Inuyasha has scars on his back? I don't remember him having those in the series so it doesn't make much sense or maybe it just poped up because the four gods are there? maybe. And when talking about the ending, there's nothing special about it, it ended just like that though I like the pictures which are being shown when the ending song was being played.
We all know this show's disease, it's an anime which are filled with fighting sequences, and that sickness is still carried on to this movie. Can't the audience have a break from those kinds of stuff? Maybe it appeals to some viewers but I know the others are getting tired of it. I wish that there'll be an Inuyasha movie which focuses more on story. What about a story of Inuyasha's past before he met kikyou? Or about anything just as long as there's not much fighting. I heard that movie 5 is coming up, I hope it will be better than the previous ones.
As I said, this is filled with fight scnes, so it made me doze off a little but what awoke me was when Inuyasha was fighting with an abomination of Kikyou. Inuyasha had a hard time, we all know that Inuyasha loved her so of course, it was difficult for him, and that's the only thing that really got me interested in watching this.
The characters are exactly the same as what they are in the series so there's no need to discuss them. I'll just write somthing about the back up characters. Those four gods are too shallow, their personalities has no depth, they don't think of anything but just to control other people and to be strong. Those kids are annoying at first and I didn't care about the brats much but later they prove to be kind of useful though they really couldn't help at all but at least they try.
The animation is okay but a little dark so it makes reading translations hard. In terms of character design, the combined four gods looks like Asura from Ranma 1/2 manga. The background music is exactly the same as that of the original.
I can't say that I recommend this, maybe only to those people who likes fighting and also to Inuyasha fanatics, but to others, maybe no, just watch Ranma movie-Nihao my concubine, you'll enjoy that more than this movie

| Technically speaking, the movie's really good. Wada made it again by giving you the best music that pumps you up and excites you.
The story, however, is pretty weak. I expect a movie to be something else different from a regular episode. Something like a huge revelation, such as all the story behind Inuyasha's birth in Tenka Hadou no Ken, the whole sentimental stuff in Toki wo Koeru omoi, or the really cool plot in Kagami no naka no Mugenjou. To me, it just felt like a 90 minute episode.
Overall, it's good, but the other three movies are difinitely better than this one.

| More like a couple of filler episodes strung together than an actual movie. Nothing new or terribly interesting happens. Kikyou puts in an appearance. Sesshoumaru puts in an appearance. Inuyasha and company win and everyone goes home happy. Kinda disappointing considering this is all we have to watch since the series ended, but I guess it's entertaining enough while it lasts.
