| One of my favorite things in Bleach is it's unique twists and turns. its mostly action-packed and exiting with a good humour to edge out a serious every-day situation of the charecters.
Mostly when you watch an long anime series, you start to get bored. But no matter how hard you try, you just cant stop watching bleach. if you dont, its starts bugging you and you start to think, what genuis move will the direktor make the charecters do next?!

| In the end, this anime may not be for everyone being that the story is lacking in some parts. Though the manga is still ongoing and maybe it would open up some diversity as far as story as of now... The main reason anyone should watch it because its an Action-PACKED anime. The creator thought of so many different and creative attacks that it leaves your mind wanting more. Once a battle has taken place it is hard to take your eyes off it... And some of the characters you will grow attached to and probably become fans of. I think anyone who like swords should give it a try.

| For me, Bleach is one of the best anime ever. I cannot put the finger on the reason why I enjoy this anime so. Maybe because the plot is so well structured that every episode you see makes you want to watch more. the main character is put through trials every step of the way and the friendship he shares with others makes him a stong warrior. Ichigo has a lot of good qualities and proves his worth. two thumbs up for the orange-haired guy!

| Bleach is my favorite anime of all time. It is straight up fighting with an awesome story line. I dont mind the fillers because they are interesting. I challenge any anime enthusiast to watch only one episode. It is so addicting.

| So far I have watched 202 episodes of BLEACH and honestly this anime is very bitter sweet I want to love it and part of me does but another part knows that whenever somebody supposedly dies there chance of showing back up is like 80 percent and you never actually feel that ichigo is going to die because every time somebody is about to through down a finishing blow another character magically comes out of nowhere and saves ichigo and then ichigo finds a way to win thats basically a revolving thing in this anime but I still find myself waiting every week for the next episode because I find myself forgiving for the repetition because its kinda cool to see some other characters come up instead of just seeing ichigo beat the crap out of everyone and the story is awesome and there are many twists and turns that always keep you indulged and the characters all have a different personality and the animations are beautiful and i believe when this anime is finished it will be one of the greats even though it has some repetition in the story.

| Bleach was, admittedly, the first anime I ever watched - and I do therefore hold a little bit of a special fondness for it. However, after watching several other animes, I don't feel as though it's quite as good as I once held it to be. It is good, but it's not incredible (except in the sound department). In addition, sadly enough, the quality of the series degrades as it continues to push forward; the animation, which started great, gets worse and worse, the once consistent action sequences become more haphazard in quality, and the show begins to feel as though it rehashes itself. The characters, with a few exceptions, are nothing to take note of, either.
However, I feel that this is an ideal show to introduce someone to anime with - it doesn't require a vast knowledge of Japanese society, and it will definitely grab the attention of anyone who's not a frequent anime watcher. Just be sure to present it in subs; the dub is, as usual, hideous and a mockery of the English language.
Overall, it's a decent shonen/power/fighting show, especially for the uninitiated. However, for an otaku or anime lover, there are better choices.
N.B.: For this review, I am omitting both filler arcs. The first is wretched, and the second, while better, is still bad. I recommend that anyone who should happen to watch this show skip episodes 64-109 and all episodes after 168 until the "New Captain" arc finishes. Resume watching when the fillers end. Also, since the show is currently in progress, scores may change once the show is done.

| Now I know bleach is a very popular Anime and this review might anger the die hard bleach fans, but guys you just have to accept the truth :
I have seen upto episode 168 and the only interesting episodes were from like 30 to 62.
This probably the most honest and longest review I have ever written. If you haven’t seen this anime already please benefit from my experience and watch it if you have nothing else to watch
Bleach is a story of a 15 year old student, Kurosaki Ichigo, who can see Ghosts (don’t worry not as boring as the sixth sense) coz some of his close companions can see them too. These ghost have to sent to soul society by Death Gods or they will become Hollows, evil spirits, Ichigo meets a death God, Rukia, in order to save his family he borrows some of her powers when she get injured……(Continued in story Review)
Bleach as an anime is fairly poor, they have very very poor character development, no emotional aspect, or very badly handled if there is…….. any attempt made towards comedy is a huge failure, (don’t get me started on Ichigo’s Dad, Keigo Asano, Don Kanonji etc)…… The story only gets interesting when there is some suspense in the soul society arc, rest of the times its dull and predictable……. Animation is average, nothing great…….. Music is good at times but really terrible otherwise…….. Enjoyment: As I said episode 30 to 62 are the only ones you will enjoy rest are a torture

| Just and overal great anime. Sure, there are the filler episodes and the seemingly endless 'previously on Bleach' at the beginning of the newer episodes, the sheer magnitude of the entertainment this show provides is astonishing. Great story lines, brilliant characterisation and exceptional comic timing, Bleach has everything you need in a show, and this already long running series is set to become a classic.

| Bleach in my opinion is the best anime out there. But I'm trying to be as unbiased as I can be in making this review. First off, Bleach starts off as a run-in-the-mill kind of anime on which the story may not be as complicated as other anime out there. But as the episodes stretch and increase, more and more twists will be experienced. The story does strongly depict its main character (Kurosaki Ichigo) most of the time but it also tells the stories of its other leading characters through their experiences and flashbacks. The animation on the other hand isn't really that perfect, but seeing as how its actually better than say, Naruto, its still very enjoyable especially the graphics during the OAVs and Movies. But the manga drawings are pretty well drawn and are not really that dirty and has many complex linings. The sound is awesome. Just knowing that the songs on the openings and endings are very popular at Japan and is on the hit charts already makes a winner out of anyone. The character designs are somewhat original and the character's personalities are all different. Everyone will at least have on Bleach character that they have an impression of.
Overall Bleach is an anime underestimated by people who dont actually watch all its episodes, but by digging deeper and with a little more patience, Bleach is one of the best anime there currently is.

| Bleach, in the beginning had a very heavy and dark atmosphere about it.
The initial impression was strong, reminded me of animes like GANTZ ou Berserk, but it was only in the beginning.
After the introduction, the first act brought a complete change of style (and pace) to the series, it became a lot more "simple" focused on battles with very little story to follow.
The First arc, had a few interesting battles and very few interesting characters (Byakuya and Kenpachi).. The series held itself "watchable" though this first arc...
After this we had fillers (horrible btw), and the new arc now (currently at episode 166) is almost unwatchable!
The battles between smalfries (bad guys and good guys) are plain ridiculous, those CONSTANT stupid attempts at creating humor breaks tend to fail miserably and become more of a annoyance than a change of pace.
At this point I simply CANNOT recommend this anime to anyone... the only interesting episode in the new arc so far was EP 166, and I had to endure like, 60 episodes to watch ONE interesting fight?!
Thanks, but I'll pass... I'll probably stop watching this anime since there is hardly any incentive to watch another 60 episodes before the next big fight...

| Bleach was amazing... Everything was great about the show up until they Bonto showed up. I recommend if you watch this show to making just know what Bankai is and then skip Bonto and watch the thing that comes after. If you like anime that keeps you on your seat after every episode this will keep you. Also it only has like 1 or 2 fillers in all (just comparing to naruto's like 100+.

| Bleach has everything an anime needs. It is very well made and is drawn nicely. The best action anime you can find out there.
Bleach also has funny humour. It isn't a 26 episode anime, so it keeps you going for plenty of hours.
If you're looking for a lasting action anime with magic, then this should be it.

| Nowadays there are a lot of those "power anime series". The main character is a guy, a bit of a goof or a bit of an outsider (or both in the best) who has amazing powers but isn't aware of them himself. Then something happens, and his powers are revealed. Then follows hundreds of episodes of getting stronger and stronger, beating enemies that are supposed to be so powerful that a simple human mind can't possibly comprehend it, and of course saving the world among everything else. Now, that's not very original, but damn if it isn't entertaining!
In some parts Bleach does meet the qualifications of this so called power anime, but it's still more interesting than most of the kind. The overall story line might seem like something that has been used many times before, only in different settings, but there are some fresh and new ideas just under the surface. There are some deeper elements, like family values, morals, individuality and the difficulty of being what you want. And of course death, after all the whole series evolve around it. Actually, one of the most exceptional things is the concept of afterlife. When you die, you don't necessarily get to a better place, but you'll be all alone, you have to fight for your survival and actually start a whole new life.
It's really no wonder that most people mention the huge character cavalcade as a weakness. I don't think I've ever come across a series with this many notable characters. It's troublesome to remember even their names, especially since most of them are all introduced in a very short amount of time. But what really is the problem is the fact that the characters are what makes this series so good. They have their own personalities, their good sides and bad sides, that all open up slowly. But how can you get to know the characters when there are so many of them? The few main characters are easy to get to know, but the massive supportive cast doesn't get much screen time, so to speak. Although, this is the part where the length of the series comes in handy: maybe, in time, the character who shows up just in a few episodes will get the highlight when the series progress.
All in all, Bleach has the certain something. The plot is cool, the characters are good, there's some great humor (Urahara is the best with that) and there are some ideas that aren't exactly the same ones you've seen dozens of times before. Too bad the length of the series and powering up dims the facts that otherwise would make it far better than it is. Although, if the length and some other things bother you, you could always try the manga. It has all the benefits of the anime and hardly any of its weaknesses.

| The first arc of Bleach is exciting and enjoyable most of the time. Too bad the end of the first arc turned out to be a cliff hanger, which made it a little hard for me to get into the story of the second arc since I still want to know what happens to Aizen. I simply stopped watching when I got to episode 70 something because it was a little too dull and boring for me. I just recently started watching it again because I was bored. The second arc is not totally garbage. There's a story to it and they are not filler episodes but I think the pace is WAY too slow. I'm on episode 97 and they are still dealing with the Bountos.

| Bleach is one of my all time favorite animes. It has a unique story that I've never come across before. There are a lot of fight scenes and I would normally find this tedious, but the fights are exciting and always refreshing. I'm worried about the story right now (I'm a litle behind right now, I've seen up to ep. 101) and I hope they don't keep ignoring the main story arc, since this bounto arc is in the middle of the first, and keep on coming up with new things to drag this series on. I was dissapointed when I learned they wouldn't be coming to a conclusion at first, but I think I see the second arc coming around to open up the first.
(I'll fill in all the other spots once I've finished, but for now it's enjoyment only.)

| Bleach often will betray your first impressions. From character introductions to the direction the plot goes, it's usually not how it appears at first.
For the first few episodes, the story was anecdotal. It takes a few episodes in the begining, one or more focused on each of the main characters, like a quick introduction to the main cast. Bleach's intro episodes were interesting because they all revolved around death. The parting, the emptiness it leaves, the eventual filling of that emptiness are the kind of things these episodes dealt with.
Bleach struck me as an anime with typical shounen esque character molds, but with themes that have far more potential for drama than naruto or one piece.
Sadly, that impression faded away as the real story kicked in. While ichigo is not as rock headed as naruto, he is very much your typical trash talking, "there's nothing i can't do" cocky-little-bastard shounen anime lead. The supporting cast is another typical blob of characters that have no more personality than their lone quirk. The story, while at first being the saving grace that could bring drama from overexaggerated characters, becomes a mesh of forced tension (i.e a character looking at something and saying "What the...! ?! ! No! It couldn't BE!" then the scene changes) with a buttload of foot dragging. Simple plot lines are stuffed with meaningless action scenes (like main characters dealing with "small fry") and repetitive, wordy, often unexciting larger encounters. It ends up taking 40 episodes to tell a story that should not be stretched more than 15.
I am saying bleach is very much in the same vein as other shounen anime but I do think Bleach has a couple of things that are worth noting.
The humor in Bleach can be far in between, but it can come in many forms, and often it's very unexpected. Unlike Naruto and Inuyasha, the humor in bleach isn't the same gag repeated 500 times. Because of the sheer number of characters, and most characters have their own little comedy gags, you'll be seeing a lot of different comic breaks in bleach.
Bleach characters are devoid of anything really enthralling. They're simple minded, quirk characters, but there is a HUGE plethora of characters. You will most certainly be overwhelmed for a big chunk of the show just trying to remember everyone's name and personality. These characters actually have pretty complex relationship networks. Characters have some pretty specific histories with one another, and almost all of them are linked in a direct way (i.e. not in a friend of a friend way). A large cast does somewhat make up for a lack of really interesting characters. Somewhere in this large cast, i'm sure most people can find at least one character that charms them.
If the Naruto's and One Piece's annoy you to no end, you will find no quarter in Bleach. If it is your cup of tea, Bleach is probably at least a little more interesting than the rest.
Edit: It seems as though the farther you get in Bleach, the more you loose what was unique about it, and that was not much to begin with. Character relationships become normalized or other wise un-highlighted. The action is as all the other low-quality shounen anime: a standoff and trash talk fest. It becomes hard to care about anything that happens in bleach anymore.
One thing i did notice is that like Naruto, there are a few episodes here and there that totally break the trends. It's as if they spend a lot of money and time on certain random episodes. The actions scenes start moving fast in the high quality episodes instead of being a talk fest, and the scripting and scene direction also get more dramatic. These episodes are far inbetween though.

| I didn't get into this anime until recently, due to the fact the summaries do absolutely no justice. I had to complete deep research until I finally decided to watch it- but let me tell you. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
I couldn't tell you any big flaw about this anime. It's rich with character, the plot is very followable, and is full of action and humor. Immense twists are all over, and you're nearly unsuspecting to every one. It keeps my heart racing and my mind wondering.
The opening and ending themes are great, but don't really coincide with the show. The only ones I could say do are the first two.
My only complaint is the bount saga- it's filler. It wasn't the best I've seen out of this show, but it was still none the less enjoyable.
The fighting style and soul slayer abilities are ace. Each battle keeps me on my toes, waiting to see what new feature will be brought out, and what the outcome will be.
If you're a bit weak in the gut, be precautioned. There's plenty of bloodshed. But that's part of what makes this show fantastic.
I honestly suggest this show to anybody. It's full of suspense and humor, and from what I've seen is likeable by just about anybody. Don't listen to the summaries- as I said, they are pretty much worthless when it comes to this anime.
