| How can you judge a anime based on three subbed episodes and the rest raws, if you're like me I am almost fluent in Japanese so I watched the raws.
I can honestly say the animation is good, the sound from the vocal talents are good, the story is mini arc, they dont connect together, similiar to Great Detectives Poirot and Marple. The characters I like and I think replay value is high since I was able to watch this more than twice.
The main theme is a former art world official going freelance and trying to be make the artworld more liberal and honest, he does this because of his resources and sometimes shady dealings, all in all his goal is to better the artworld by eliminating fake displays, sorta of a paradox since his front is fake gallery of masterpieces.
It tends to educate those neophytes that have no concept of art. Thoroughout the series they teach you how paintings are restored, how they are distributed, how they are sold and ect... It teaches you about customs and backstories of some of the most prized artwork in world.
I don' think I can say anymore than, if you have the patience to see a story a unfold, you'll actually be drawn to this (so to say).
