| Despite its great character design and motion, Agent Aika has a lame story that gets worse in every chapter. The final chapters are just ridiculous and the fights are damn boring. There are many incomplete ideas, lame characters and untied knobs. It's worth seeing but it's not a piece i would like to have in my personal collection.

| What is Agent Aika? well it's what you would call guilty pleasure, like one of those second rate silicon-babe-action american movies, only more entertaining... yess my fellow men, this anime doesn't have romance or feelings, it doesn't have complicated plots or drama, but it does have a fatal combination for the men within us, "guns and babes" for that time when you don't wanna bother your head with complicated things but you wanna see girls fight in the mud and relax, I can see the normal viewer sitting on the couch with a six-pack of beer and a tissue box near him and hands dow the panths (don't think of kinky stuff, I was just remembering All Bundy from Married With Children)
Animation and Sound:
The action scenes were smooth as were all the sexy girls heheh... the camera angles were brilliant layed in a down-looking-up position most of the time arround the Delmo Girls... Sound was Ok from good voice acting to OP/Ed and Bg music.
Story and Characters:
Very simple, stupid and kicky action story similar to those Hollywood 80's action movies... same ammount of guns but more girls... The feast of panthy shots was good but kinda exagerated after a while, i'm also wondering why all the panties had the same white collor, they could have used different collors to give it a bitt of extra flavour
The characters were simple, very stupid and unrealistic, lacked deepness but like we care, we don't watch this for that... The Delmo Girls were super cute, poor girls got throwned around so much loved them, Aika was Ok and I really liked her dressing style she went on a fashion in missions heheh, Rion was funny, so was Gust aldough his perverted desire to see Akia naked was the main reason for beeing so good of a fighter... and that Hagen villain was really the best with the "I wanna change the corrupted World into a glorrified image of myself" kinda reminded me of Impallazzo (Excel saga) exept this guy is a real pervert, and imagine the view from siting on that lowered chair with all those girls in short skirts around.
Enjoyment and value:
Ok some might wonder how come I loved the tons of fanservice in this one and why I hate the fanservice in other shows like Elfen Lied or Ichigo100%, hey I never said i wasn't a pervert, but I just don't like to mix experiences, either i'm watching a innocent romance or i'm watching a sexy comedy, think it this way, I don't like to combine beef steak with strawberry ice cream..
Well anyway as a value I guess that all those pantie shots most worth something:))... Ok i'm gonna be serious, not a very smart, original, deep or interesting anime but from time to time you do need something lite and fun to relax you, and this does that quite well for the male audience.

| Watching Agent Aika is like a guilty pleasure. High production values are here which is something we've all started to expect from emotion and bandai visual, but for everything this anime has, there's something missing.

| Don't Waste Your Time - there are so many different choices when it comes to anime. and now-a-days there is no shortage of good ones. this particular one is so blah, i don't see how anyone can recommend watching it.

| I can understand why people gave it low marks, but this anime was certainly enjoyble to me. The story was to easy to understand, infact its just straight forward. Imagine a girl james bond or lara croft as aika. One thing to note, there are tons and tons of panty shots, infact, overall shots could average around evrey 7sec/panty. Another thing is this is not hentai, though the ecchiness is way towards hentai. No censorship here, like ikkitousen, but bare all.

| I'm somewhat surprised at the low grades this anime is getting. Personally, I really enjoyed it.
The storyline is not very deep - easy to grasp on to - but every now and then you need a good brainless anime to watch. Of course, the fan service is plenty - but not overdone in my opinion. Enough action and comedic moments hold your interest. Plus, the characters are really enjoyable.
I was drawn to this because it seemed similar to "Najca Blitz Tactics", which I loved...so maybe thats why I'm giving it such a high rating. Its very similar - not quite as good - but well deserved of a high mark. A pleasant surprise !

| Oh, this was bad! There was virtually no plot, whatsoever, and that couldn't even be covered by the animation (pretty standard, nothing special), the music or the characters (most of them are patethic...some truly annoying).
What do they call it? Ah, Fan service.

| Not very bright, I must admit, but it wasn't a total dissapointment IMO. While the story was not as intriguing as it could have been, the character designs are indeed very beautiful, together with the good animation, action scenes and other nice details. Too bad the plot was not entirely compatible in quality with what you see.
Sound was just average, and maybe that is saying too much about it.
I really wanted this anime to stand up for more, but unfortunately it failed at some stage. Worth a watch for the fanservice, though -- completely "pantsu"-ed. :P

| I´ve seen this Anime long Ago but i know that it wasn´t something special. I would say there is not much between this ecchi Anime and an Hentai the only thing is that Aika didn´t get f*cked up by someone. From the beginning until the End you see her several times naked in each episode. The Producers and the Regie have overdone that a little. Animation was really bad. Sound wasn´t Good either. Story was decent. Charakters weren´t good too. This is one of those Animes that you can see only once.
Well i have to admit that there was some action in it but nothing overwhelming.

The storyline is compromised in the first episode. The whole premise of Agent Aika is that, in the near future, Tokyo is submerged and a group of professional divers emerge to reclaim lost objects for money. This storyline is maintained for about 10 minutes and then summarily replaced with a story about a misterious element present in the earth that has immense power and is attempting to rid the planet of the human infection. The story itself is fine from this point on, but all the promotion for the show is based on the former storyline. Once the change-over takes place, it is almost irrelevant that Tokyo is underwater.
Oh, and panties......!
There is an undeveloped lesbian understory between Rion and Aika.
And panties.....!
The second OVA almost exists as a separate entity from the first. Once again, it is irrelevant that Tokyo is underwater.

| Agent Aika places the camera exactly where all the Ecchi and Hentai people want it. Whether it's hidden under a table while the characters are talking, or peeking out from under a grated floor panel, the display of panties never ends. During the fight scenes, every high kick has the camera down low, and whenever the bad girls get knocked out, they land on the ground with their rears pointed right at the camera, their skirts always pulled up high enough to be revealing.
If that sounds like your kind of anime, then by all means, go out and get Agent Aika. Everyone else, stay away from this anime. While the animation is very good and the music, well... isn't annoying, the story is really bad and the characters aren't all that interesting.

| At first its hilarious seeing the panty shots but you get used to it. The story wasnt actually that bad, it was something enjoyable to watch. However, there wasnt anything spectacular about Aika. The character design was done pretty well though. Check it out if you have a copy of it, other than that, you dont have to go out of your way to watch it. Besides, its only a few episodes.

| it makes me angry that many people don't apprecite this series as much as i do. take into consideration that it's fairly original (remember this was the first of it's kind). it combined a really good action series, with awesome (over the top) panty shots. keep in mind i am a girl, and i am not gay. i really liked this show!
it's a simple story, and easy to follow, but not dumb (in my opinion). it takes a basic james bond story, but starring a chick. aika is cool. she isn't ditzy or annyoing. she has a cute sidekick named rion, and a love interest/rival named gust. the first couple episodes deal with aika vs. delmo, and are a lot of fun. the rest of the series deals with her fighting the remainder of the delmo girls and are a bit more silly.
this series doesn't take itself seriously which is why it's ok that it's over the top. it is meant to be what it is, an enjoyable action-packed series, with TONS of fan service.
the animation is GREAT! this was back in the mid 90's when bandai released a couple very high quality OVA series.
the music is good and fitting. the OP and ED are fun to listen to, and the BGM is great. i will make special mention that the voice actors who worked on this are some of the best seiyuu in japan.
please give this show a chance, it's highly entertaining. and if you hate it, i feel sad for you...

| This anime will go down in history as the King of echii. Panty shots are shown in virtually every scene, and it gets very repetitive in a hurry. Aside from that, overall I found this anime to be very mind-numbingly boring. It's a badly done version of 007 and Charlie's Angels, and nothing else really, aside of course from the gobs and gobs of panty shots. If you want fanservice in bountiful quantities, than this anime is for you, otherwise I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. There's nothing wrong with fanservice, but this anime just over does it in that aspect.

| Woa. When i first heard about this anime, the first thing i heard was about the countless panty shots present. I had seen an AMV with clips of this anime, and i was stunned and jawdropped when i saw what this anime had in content. I think, that this is the anime that panty shots generated from. yes there where panty shots before in the past, but this is the pinacle, from here, every aniem that has panty shots has a little bit of AAika cells. Panty shots dont ruin this anime too much though, i loved the action, and overall loved what this anime had in aura. But the panty shots got a bit frustrating after episode 3. Everyone says ep4 is the last episode, but its not, its actualy ep7. Ep 5 was made in 1998, and the rest in that same year after. Agent Aika is really amazing, the quiality, not the sound though. The story is really amazing, and it has lots to offer. Even friendshipt and mild comedy, also, some James Bond kinda aura. Its really amazing anime, and should not be missed, just watch it when you have time, and dont show it to anyone else that you think might not like panty shots every minute. AND IM SERIOUS! you cannot go a minute without either panty shots or fanservice.

| Agent Aika is parody at its finest. Think a B movie James Bond, mixed with an underwear commercial and you'll have a decent idea of the direction Aika goes in. Aika's total lack of control is its main appeal, the story is so campy that it's enjoyable and the constant "interesting" camera angle changes prevents you from ever even trying to take it seriously. For those who enjoy fanservice Agent Aika is a modern day classic, others need not apply.

| I have already reviewed this anime enough times. Well at least 3 times and i got to say that, it is not what i expected after like the 3rd episode.
If your looking for echhi -story then look nowhere but the first episode, its all ecchi, second episode? the title says it all, and the third episode? its the best in story so far. But more story and less echhi. Which im actually proud of because, i like this anime way too much now. Hehe, i kinda love it, cant hate it.

| Wow. A show about panties. Literally. Thankfully its short and doesn't try to demean the viewer into thinking there is any depth to the show. It has a storyline but its no great shake and anybody who is the type to be viewing this show won't pay attention. Nice looking girls showing off their panties. Its pure fluff but it can be funny and enjoyable at times. Helped by attractive character design and solid animation. Stay away if you don't want a T&A show.

The story and animation were average. Certainly not the best I've ever seen.
The characters were amusing. It's alot of the same things throughtout the series. Aika kicks some a** and all the girls she knocks out end up in some sort of panty shot. OH!!! and we can't forget Aika's little metamorphosis into the skandly clad almost naked super hero is pretty great.
It's nice and short and worth a peek if not for the story then for the unbelievable amount of fanservice.

| Ein Anime der ganz klar auf Fanservice in Form von unzähligen Panty-Shots setzt, was aber traurigerweise nicht über die Einfallslosigkeit der Produzenten hinwegtäuschen kann. Ein Anime wo auch eingefleischte Pantyfreaks nach kurzer Zeit wegknacken und auch ein 2. mal wird sich wohl niemand diesen Anime antun.
