| From the house that Di Gi Charat built, Galaxy Angel is about five females who go on missions in outer space and other planets to find Lost Technology, but most of the time just wind up driving one another crazy. Remember, I DID say this is from the same people that brought us Di Gi Charat ^^;
As a result, you'ree not going to find a well-written story here. Fortunately, the fun, quirky cast more than makes up for it. For those who like cute girls in your anime, there's something for everyone. You have the cute, cheery, klutzy, but also very lucky Milfeulle Sakuraba, the small, sarcastic Mint, the boy-crazzy, kung-fu fighting Ranpha, the gun-toting leader Forte, or the small, silent, Ruri-knockoff religion fanatic Vanilla. Oh, and a talking missle that assumes the form of a stuffed animal...and no I did not just make that up.
The animation is cute, colorful, and while not quite lavish, is passable. The music is neither good or bad; it's just there (the voice acting is well-done though, with the exception of Milfeulle). The opening and ending themes are fun, but not worthy of repeating over and over again. The storylines often cross familiar territory, but are often so well played they almost seem fresh in their approach. One of my more favorite episode is where Mint gets her head stuck on a cardboard cut-out. Afraid of letting her comrades stuck like this (she thinks they'll make fun of her), she instead tricks them into delaying their arrival back to the rendezvous point in an attempt to get it off. The fact that some of the characters will go from nice to jack-ass in a matter of seconds in the rare scenario here and there makes it actually pretty entertaining. I dunno why, but it does.
In all, Galaxy Angel is a fun series to watch if you're not looking for something deep. It helps if you like cute girls...no doubt the reason this series has had 3 additional seasons, at least manga series, and an upcoming sequel TV series with a brand-new cast.

| Galaxy Angel, how you have failed me. After reading a few reviews, I had quite a high expectations for this anime. I had anticipated a lot of comedy that would make me laugh really hard. That did not turn out to be the case as the laugh weren't that much.
There were a few episodes though (episode 13 and 26 comes to mind) where you'll end up laughing a lot but beside that, most of the other are just low laugh and quite frankly, forgettable and sometimes just plain stupid.
The fact that this whole series is based on this comedy factor, as it really doesn't have a story or anything else, pretty much ruin it for me (though I still intent to watch all the other seasons, hopefully those won't fail me).

| I first got into Galaxy Angel from that simdate game on newgrounds. Awesome and fun game, I must say - exploits the craziness of this series into a wildly insane and obscene simdate game. Pure awesomeness.
After the awesomeness (along with the original fanservice that came with the game), I decided to see what this is all about - I found the perfect sci-fi comedy with amazing concepts and stories.
Since this is a sci-fi world, animation is very welcoming. Extravagant cities, technology, planets, and spaceships are drawn really well. Too bad they still use today's guns - no laser guns. :(
A crazy cast of characters (each with their own colour) creates gold comedy stories with each other. Set on finding this "lost technology" (and I'm still intrigued by it), the brigade of girls go around the galaxy suppressing whatever they meet, solving problems, getting involved in wars, getting chased by police for their misunderstood acts, etc.. I just love this series.
Why am I repeating what people have said? This is an awesome comedy series worthy of boredom. Unfortunately, since they're all one-shot stories, it's very hard to actually be motivated to watch it. Take your time and relax with the Angel Brigade!

| Galaxy Angel is a hilariously entertaining anime series consisting of 26 13 minute long episodes of laughter.
The story behind the episodes are practically unrelated, which makes some episodes feel inconclusive and much too short. There are also moments that doesn't make sense, although the sheer humour of comical scenes should make the viewer overlook those moments(hopefully).
The series features characters with the strangest unique personalities with no silimarities whatsoever. The difference between the characters makes up some of the funniest moments in the series, especially when exaggerated.
To be frank, 26 13 minute episodes is just too short for such a humorous anime, and I am certain most people would get Galaxy Angel 2 after enjoying the first series.
This is a definite must see for comedy lovers. I thought I had seen the best in Anime comedy after watching Azumanga Daioh, but the difference in style and humour of Galaxy Angel makes this series very worth watching.

| I found the series to be enjoyable. Not many sci-fi comedies can put together such diverse elements and make them work.
The story itself is as follows: in the distant future, mankind has expanded into space, and achieved great things. Then a cosmic disaster known as the chronoquake struck, and much of mankind and its achievements were destroyed. Fast forward to about 200 years later. A moon known as the White Moon appeared, bringing with it technology lost in the chronoquake. The Transbaal empire was formed, and now the team is set up to go into ruins and find pieces of this lost technology and figure out what they do.

| Galaxy Angel is a joy, beggining from the non-sensical humor to the lovable and cheerfull characters that reminds a lot from Azumanga Daioh.
Everything in this anime is truly enjoyable everything!,even, the next episode preview screen that Shows the storyline of some animals, that is very enjoyable
the comedy is great, don't putting fan service on it, neither, blood or gore, galaxy angel wins the price of the comedy title,Don't Ranpha or Forte's Outfit fool you,This is not a Ecchi anime.more, every episode have their own comedy style,so,is repetitiveless.
it have some bad flaws, but the Hillarious comedy and the shinning characters avoid those flaws and never fails to entratain the viewver

| So after watching Pita Ten and Snow Fairy Sugar I decided to watch something else by my favorite vegetable, err... studio.
Animation wise this was very much a suprise for me since up until this point I doubted that Broccoli could even do something with sex appeal or real ecchi. Looking at the inital versions of Ranfa and Forte I was obviously mistaken. Still I can forgive such discrepencies as it seems to have been remedied at a later date. At any rate as usual the cuteness gushes forth like Old Faithful so no real complaints here. It seems a bit dated, but it was well executed. Besides simply having superior technology could not save any series alone. Besides just seeing their ships in action was good enough, for me at least.
The theme music was cute to the point that my teeth nearly rotted and the blood did flow from my gums. Still it was thoughly fun to listen to and if the sub is correct it is bloody funny as well.
As for the Story, there is none to speak of as the search for "Lost Technology" is simply a cover fore having a slew of comedic episodes that hardly had any relation to the others. Nevertheless, the comedy was well done and a welcome change from the stuff I have been viewing recently and it certainly beats a FINCEN manual hands down.
The characters will slay you with laughter and have far more quirks than can be said about their counter parts in so called "dramas." Even the supposed impassive waif (Vanilla, as her name suggests) has her moments and her treatment of NOMAD is very comical. Still one must wonder if the creators watched Star Trek TOS as well since the parallel is distrubing between the two respective NOMADs.
As a comedy this is an absoulte gem and is was a joy to watch. The failed sniper shot at such close range had me rolling on the floor with laughter. Well worth one's time if you simply wish to laugh a bit to break up the tedium of routine days.
-I don't need no teenage queen, I just need my M-16...

| Galaxy Angel does its job surprisingly well consider its lack of depth, short episodes and incomplete endings, GA manages to bring us heart warming laughter whenever I watched a few of its episodes.
The animation is good, and I do appreciate that the animators kept the 3D scenes to a minimum. All the GAs are cute and kawaii, who could dislike Milfeulle?
Sound is okay, the theme sounds are overly simplistic and tried a bit hard to be funny and they got old pretty fast for me. The seiyuu is in a way, done so that you will recognize the character's voice immeditely, that is a bit exaggerated. Personally, I don't find this to be that good.
The story though, is contradicting. Kudos to the writers that can write comedies without resorting to low-brow jokes and ecchi. In fact, I'm surprise that this anime does not have any ecchi at all (I'll pretend to ignore Forte's boobs). The plot however, depends on the episode. There are quite a few of the episodes that the writers deliberately left out the ending or important details to let the viewers think. I don't think this works well at all because this series is not designed to make us think. There are also a couple of the "touching" stories that developed the characters, but I can't help but think if it is actually a good idea to put these in at all.
The characters are extremely striaght forward to fit this 10 minutes each anime. And it works out quite good since it is much easier for the viewers to remember who is who. I just wish that they would make Vanilla more interesting and Normad less annoying. Just don't expect too much development from these characters.
Overall, this is a good comedy anime. It's not too long an episode to get a quick laugh. And watching each episode of GA reminds me of having to pick out some prize from a mystery bag that will surprises you everytime.

| "Galaxy Angel" proves that, no matter what happens, something like this is always there to take your mind of your own troubles (instead of being reminded of them). It's the type of quirkiness that's been lacking in most anime during its time. Currently, "Paniponi Dash!" is taking its spot. And said spot had been held by "Excel Saga." But this show is a good time-killer.

| After reading the whole Galaxy Angel manga series, I was surprised to see how different the anime was. First of all, Takuto isn't in this series at all, (no romance is present) which was quite a disappointment- or so I thought. The anime version of GA is 100 times funnier than the manga.
The animation in GA is fluent, the character designs are cute, and it's never choppy or inconsistent in an episode. So why did it get a 9? The coloring of the backgrounds and characters make GA look like a 1999 anime. They could have made it a little brighter and I'd raise the score.
I LOVE the sound in this show. The opening and ending themes are very very cute, (especially the opening), and the voice acting is wonderful.
The characters are what make the show. It may revolve around cliches, but the characters make GA one hilarious series to watch. Vanilla is my favorite character because of her subtle humor. Don't get me wrong though, the humor in Galaxy Angel is very overt.
Each episode is episodic, it deals with the Angel Brigade searching for the lost technology, and of course, they screw up the mission somehow or other. It maybe be getting turned into monkies or being afraid of a killer rat, which makes this an anime worth rolling on the floor, holding your sides, and laughing until it hurts.

| Not enough people know of this series, I think. That, or they just don't get the humour perhaps and stop watching. I think this series is wonderful. Excel saga can lack at times, but this one only leaves you with wanting more and more.
The plot? It is a series of parodies where the main characters act out the theme of the weak; the setting is that they are a military division looking for 'lost technology', taking place in the future.
The anime is basically a comedy for girls, like azumanga [in space]. Most attention is to developing the characters and their relationships, showing funny traits. It does this excellently. It is very memorable in all ways. You will have your favourites amongst the angels and rewatch the episodes that has to do with them.

| I really liked this anime because of the commedy even though there isn't really a story. This I can say is the equivalent of simpsons in japanese animation. Where each episode has its own story. But if you compare the animation, sound and character, this anime is a lot better but for value, enjoyment and story, for my opinion its equal to simpsons.
Truely one of a kind anime.
A very fun anime to watch when you like to relax and just forget about your problems or when you are bummed. Even if you are the saddest person in the world one episode of this will surely put a smile on your gloomy face.

| The Galaxy Angels are a secret military branch of girls out in space known only to few. Although they're currently searching for the 'Lost Technology', their missions more often than not seem to just be undesirable part time jobs, boring chores, or wacky adventure. Only one thing is sure: Wherever they go, chaos follows.
Galaxy Angel is another all out random comedy through and through, but one or two episodes do pause the insanity for some good old fashioned heart felt moments. The influence of DiGi Charat is noticeable, but the extra power of Madhouse shows well and seems to give the show a bit more of a foundation. The pacing is fast and the episodes are half length, but there's plenty to enjoy regardless.
The real strength of the show is in the character designs, colorful art, and the upbeat soundtrack. Each of the Galaxy Angels are really fun and they're all either totally unique or so cliche to be an amusing parody. The show has no real plot, so the characters themselves have to pull a lot of weight. The opening song probably says it best: without tricks, magic, or gimmicks.
In many ways Galaxy Angel's characters and art style feels like a return to classic anime traditions. Everyone has a highly different personality, and each are clearly marked by their unique hair color and style. The theme and ending songs are absolutely great, full of energy and highly singable tunes. It may sound simple, but bright colors and good music go a long way to a genuinely fun anime.
For as good as everything is, it really is just very good. There are only a couple of episodes which could be called great, instead focusing on just random comedy throughout. Some of the jokes fall flat, and at times the humor just feels too childish. While it falls short of great random comedies like Excel Saga, fans of the genre shouldn't miss it regardless.

| Hello All who are fortunate to read this: why? because some of you will check it out and you will be thankful for it.
This comedic anime is great. Funny through out (except for episode 16 I believe) which dwelt a bit into the past of one of the character, other than that, every single episode (about 11 minutes each) is laugh out loud funny.
The characters are great. Each is interesting in their own way. Though don't expect the story to be like Shakespeareist because they are pretty short and doesn't translate from one episode to the next. However, everything else is great. The music, the sound and animation.

| Galaxy Angel is hillarious, plain and simple. It's just really important that you realize that there is _no_ storyline whatsoever, other then that they're looking for lost technology. GA is an animated sitcom. Lots of comedy, zero fanservice I might add, wacky situations, terrific seiyuu work, and a group of crazy characters.
One you get used to the style of the show, Galaxy Angel is an awesome watch, very addictive.

| This anime is funny! Not much story in it, but all this humor really makes this series good. The characters are really extreme, Forte loves guns and uses them frequently, Ranpha is beautiful and total loser when dealing with men, Mint has this strange passion for costumes, Milfeulle is the dumbest character I have ever seen an Vannilla will surely freak a shit out of you, she is creepy.
Good if you want to laugh i wath it when i get tired of serios martial arts anime.

| The first season of Galaxy Angel is appropriately wacky. While there isn't very much of a concrete plot connecting all of the episodes, the episodic nature of Galaxy Angel is never unwelcome. The main reason for this is that it's just so funny. Most episodes have laugh out loud moments, and all of them are at the very least amusing. It doesn't really seem to matter what order you watch the episodes in, as the last episode doesn't bring anything to a conclusion... really there was no major plot to conclude!
The animation is quite good, and the music is very cute and enjoyable, as is the voice talent. I'm surprised more people have seen this. Check it out!

| Maybe its because I like comedy. Maybe because its so lighthearted and kawaii. Maybe its because Mint is so damned adorable. Whatever the reason, I LOVE this anime. No innovation, not the best music, not even much plot, but something drew me to this series and hasnt let go. Its just one of those really short animes that you can put in your player anytime and just have fun watching. It doesnt challenge your mind, butthe mix of characters, the absurdity of situations and the downright kawaiines of the whole thing is hard to resist. Its one of my favorite comedy animes for that reason. It doesnt take itself seriously.

| After the first episode all I could think was, "How can all these people love such a lame show?"
Well eventually it grew on me, not really because it was good but because I can't stand to not finish a show.
The humor is occasionally laugh-out-loud funny, but for the most part, as I said above, lame. Over and over. Over and over. Over and over.
Animation, music, story (not much), nothing worth an honourable mention, except episode 14, the one with Forte's background is great stuff, probably the highlight for me.
Characters are pretty annoying. Ranpha is a poor man's Excel, and Milfeuille is just stupid, especially all the faces she makes. Vanilla.... ugh, creepy. Forte.... manish.
Right, so overall, not really a good show, but it's not quite awful either. Perhaps it's best rated as the bottom side of mediocrity.

| An amusing show with five cute girls, a robot (each with a different kind of personality, of course) and mindless humour. Episodes are quite short but contain still a compact plot. There seems to be some more serious moments, too, but that just makes the series more enjoyable; gives you time to recover from all the screaming and confusion which took place before. There isn't any big storyline in this series, just separate events. Animation and sounds are just the basic stuff, nothing new.
