| I've seen the anime and read the first 14 volumes of the manga thus far.
1) This is not a shoujo manga, it's a harem manga. Shoujo = Karekano. Harem = Tenchi/Love Hina/AYA.
2) If you like Love Hina, you will probably enjoy this manga, if you did not like Love Hina, stay away.
3) This is geared towards guys, being one I loved the manga.
It has nudity and a plot that hangs over the whole manga, although most chapters have very little to do with the main plot. The manga is for the most part episodic and fun. It is very enjoyable, but not really insightful or extremely creative.
I love the characters, which are VERY traditional. Aoi is very traditional Japanese, Tina is very stereotypical American (aka cowgirl). Chika is the typical hyperactive little girl. And they also have the moe and young girl (mayu) fetishes for everyone.
My personal favorite character is and will always be Aoi (my second favorite character of all time behind Lafiel from Crest of the Stars).
Check out the anime. If you enjoy it or Love Hina, you should start the manga, it is a lot of fun.

| I think that the previous reviewer must have read another manga.
Well, if you like manga with big-breasted submissive girls that live only to serve you but with no story to speak of, this might be for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere..

| I don't know if a better shoujo manga will ever show up. I happened to pick the first volume up shortly after it came out just because Tokyopop had a special buy 2 get 1 free offer...and this happened to be my choice for the free volume. I don't think I could have made a better choice. I instantly fell in love with Aoi-chan and the other characters, and am really sad to see the series end (though we all knew it had to end eventually). This is a MUST READ for any shoujo fan, and a perfect choice for anybody who wants to get into shoujo.
