| Well I'm in a rampage to find good comedy, school life, and harem anime. I came across this one. It wasn't the best story ever, but it was funny.
The animation was very nicely done. I didn't like the girls having long eyes, but other than that they did a very good job.
The sound...well I didn't put too much attention to the sound to be honest, but the op and ed were cool.
The story is about a guy who has Holy Priest/Monk powers and they're activated by lust(Well his anyways). So he see's something semi-naked or perverted in anyway and he'll turn into super priest or "Awakened." It gets kinda old after a while. He's always have to be seduce by someone in order to control his power. I didn't like the idea of everyone in the house hold beating him up everytime either. ~_~ The first season is mostly focused on the comedy part than the actual story line. The anime was very funny for me atleast. :)
The character have little development. They didn't grow as much in the first season. Ikko has the worst character development. ~_~ Worse than Naruto's.
I did like the anime. It was fun to watch, but it gets rather old seeing the same battle scenes end the same way. By lust and not learning control.
By the way my favorite thing in this anime is the voice "Oooh Yeaah!" Love it!

| Amaenaide yo!! (often listed as Amaenaideyo!!; it can mean "Don't behave like a child!!" or "Don't act spoiled!!") is the story of Ikko, a young Buddhist monk in training. He is sent to the monistary where his great aunt runs things. With his aunt are five hot babe nuns. Ikko himself is a bit of a pervert. When he sees a woman naked or gropes her (or something along those lines) he becomes extremely powerful and can banish even the most stubborn of spirits from this world. Naturally, the girls are absolutely against fueling his desires.
I'm not quite sure why this is classified as a harem anime. None of the women express an interest in the male lead, and they're always beating him up.

| this anime was average in almost every way. i found myself saying thinking that this anime was like every single other one of this genre and the only thing that was at all redeeming about it was the addition of the nun/monk theme but even this got tedious with the story almost always reccuring back to these rather un-originally inspired female characters. i found myself regreting starting this anime and having a policy to finish what i started with the ending leaving me esceedingly dis-satosfoed a;though when it comes to the ending i do feel that i have very very high standards and that only the best will do

| 0k well i do tend to watch alot of eechi anime but this really didnt do it for me.first of this show had some good but alot and i mean alot bad.
animation- this is the best part the animation for the most part is colorful and very nice design on some of the female characters i said some because only two of them were attractive the rest were ugly and had big forheads.but the characters are drawn good naked if thats any constitution but it isnt .
sound- it was pretty bad i didnt like the ending theme at all i mean at least the oppening was ok but i know i wont buy the ost.
story- i like the plot for the most part .the plot is basically a monk gets mega powers to fight monsters(if i can even call them that)when ....well he sees naked women.thats it and it stays that way and no this is not what you think there not just women there nuns.
character- for the first part there ugly and have dried personalitys for the most part except for the grandma lady.in the oppening there suppose to be weapons talismins and so on to fight to deamons but i never saw them and the fight scenes are two seconds long and you cant really see it to well.
all in all if you like your eechi then watch but if you want something better watch hanaukyo maid team its a better eechii.it was okay and not very good in any way,even though some parts are nice and lighearted it still doesnt help the plot at all.but for the most part im not done deciding on this anime i like and i hate it alot i just have alot of mix feelings on it.

| This anime goes to show you that no place is ever too holy or safe from harem themed animes. Now we have a harem anime taking place in a monastery and lots of ecchi with nuns. The people in this series basically just go on lots of various journeys and having various adventures around the area including various chores they have to do as part of their spiritual duty, etc. However, along the way we have lots of clothes being taken off, wet robes being seen through, panties and bras being stolen during school and walking around in a fully monty, blah blah. Doesn't sound that bad right? Well sure I guess not. In terms of uniqueness, for those who have seen a lot of ecchi anime this might be worth a look for something new.
This anime has absolutely no sense of unification, meaning, or drive. Only those with a hardcore love of showing cleavage, panty shots, or see through clothes with nipple popping action. Often times I found myself staring at the screen where half of it is someone character's face in the background and the other half are perky boobs bouncing around in the foreground. Sometimes they even had a full shot of boobs for 10 seconds with some other girl talking in the background. Like... uhh... ok?
I guess since the ecchi factor in Amaenaideyo is so extreme, there are some laughs in this. For those who love ecchi animes, this MIGHT be worth watching because they mess around with the whole monk storyline. I personally didn't find any of the girls that cute. They are just a generic combination with different hair colors and different eye colors. Even the main girl is typical with absolutely no depth of personality - she's your typical dull country girl who is going to be "saved" by this guy who teaches her how to enjoy life (but dude she's supposed to be training to be a nun, sigh). Her only good assets are her big boobs that seem to be revealed every other episode, but that's not a big deal. Of course the main guy is the typical perverted guy who wants to slack off whenever he can.
I don't really have much to say about this. I won't remember this a few months from now except it was "that ecchi anime with the background story with that guy who got super powerful when he sees naked girls". If they put actual sex scenes in this, it'd make this actually worth watching. Amaenaideyo is just boring foreplay. Granted there's more actual supposed "exposure" than most other ecchi animes I've seen, but still worthless overall.
Based up to episode 10. (There seems to be some sort of ultimate villain coming up at the end - but eh, not that interested in the whole awakening of Ikkou thing)

| You must be really desperate if you go thru with this anime. Its not that its not good, its just its pointless. If you watch tons of ecchi, than this one is one major flop. Better watch mahoro, love hina, even shinobuden is better than this. Or pure ecchi can always go with Girls bravo s1, s2 which is lots more better than this.
The real problem is not the genre, its the layout. What you get is recycled material from other anime's (masked in some bhudist temple). Other than that you get 6 girls, one guy, 1 old priest.
Character design covers all ecchi aspects of ecchi lovers. The weirdness is that when they talk, I don't see the mouth of some of the girls. I see teeth-skin directly. Either this is some freestyle, or sadistically lazy.
There is a lot to hate about this anime, since its geared towards ecchi, the graphics do nothing to impress but annoy you more.
Sound is better, BGM is quite ok, but then its not something you will want to hear. The problem with ecchi anime's is that the characters have to show the feelings, like in Ichigo, or girls bravo, you will not find that a lot here.
After going thru this, I forgot the story as I was concentrating on other anime's and this is what this anime is. Easily forgettable and not really enjoyable as its does not bring new aspects into the anime.

| After watching some serious anime for a while, this anime will be quite entertaining for a guy like me.
It is funny, although there is no real storyline here.
The characters are standard, you can find the similar characters in series like Love Hina; one guy bullied by bunch of girls.
The only downsize for this anime is the animation; which is quite simple. The only character i found quite annoying is the lovely Sumi, what's with the big eyebrows ?????? can the draw something nicer, or smaller ???
the opening and ending song are quite relaxing to hear.
The ecchi part may not appear well for girls, but give it a try.
I recommend this for those who have watched anime like love hina & mahoromatic, although this one may not as good as those two.
I give it 7.7/10. As I said the only downsize is the anime. It is worth to watch.

| I am in love with this series. Not only are all the characters wonderfully drawn, for the first time my favorite character is actually the guy.
The sound I had to rate top-notch because of Ikko's screams. They make me smile so hard it hurts.
The story-line is a little strange, but far enough away from anything else that it's enjoyable.
The animation is average. Nothing to blow you away.
The characters are pretty adorable. You have shy, aggressive, shallow, blunt... it's all there.
I would suggest this series to anyone that loves to laugh.

| Here we go again another harlem anime. I will not lie, I like most of these types of comedy shows but this one did not really satisfy me.
The animation is nice nothing spectacular. It is typical 2005 anime.
The cast is very good. I knew most of the actors from pervious shows that I have enjoyed in the past. The music is nothing special. You can't really expect these types of shows to have an outstanding BGM.
The story is pretty much a boy living with a bunch of girls learning to become a monk. That's pretty much it for the story other than the main character always saving the day at the end. Every episode is like a repeat of the episode before, but with a different theme.
The characters were the very cliched typical harlem characters. You got the boyish one, the hot one, the one the main character is interested in, and the quiet one and so on. So the characters do get alittle predictable.
Overall this anime is not recommended for those looking for a fresh anime series. The only originality I can see is the fact that the characters were monks. The whole series is pretty boring and nothing happens.

Alright, after seeing 3 episodes I think I've seen enough to pass judgement on this anime. First of it, it's obvious that this is a harem. I mean seriously the image shows 6 girls and 1 guy, what other clues do you need? Anyways, this anime is the typical harem with girls with *ahem* big breasts(not all of 'em but w/e). To be different they threw the theme of monks and nuns being under one roof. WTF?! I mean it's Shinto and I'm Buddhist so it matters less to me but seriously I don't see how people not find that offensive...So much for being saints. Well the animation is so-so nothing bad and nothing great. Sounds...yea... there's sound also nothing bad and nothing great either. Story, by what I've seen, pretty much suck. It might have been better if it's set differently but tackling a religion and making it a setting for a harem is pretty offensive in my opinion. Characters...guy's perverted and the girl(s) are violent. I said "Girl(s)" because some of 'em are nice and some are plain mean. And where have I seen any of these qualities b4?....hmmm... let see... I guess it's in pretty much every harem out there...
Even for a free(at the moment) download, it is still rank low on the value chart. People who'll enjoy this will prolly be guys who just plainly love big breasts and want to imagine being around crowds of women..no offense... but for every1 else waiting for a great series, better luck elsewhere.

| Amaenaideyo isn't just the typical "Comedy, Ecchi, School Life" anime, it's actually quite original. Set most of the time in a temple, the characters are mostly all priests, and the main characters are training as dorm (live-on-campus) priests, this makes the plot of this anime a good point, contrasting with most other "Comedy, Ecchi, School Life" anime, and as all other Ecchi anime, the comedy is generated from typical misunderstandings.
