| A very nice anime with a great "classic" feel. Story and charecters are yet to be rated.
Definetly worth a watch.

| What can I say about an Anderson story... the animation is so, so, but the plot based on that famous writer one can´t complain at all. A promising beginning and highly enjoyable watching it with your younger sisters and brothers. WHAT AN OUTSTANDING SOUNDTRACK!! The orchestration is beautiful and it fits with the story marvellously... two thumbs up!!! I will surely continue watching the next episodes. I just feel like returning to my childhood when my mother told me before sleep all those great Andersen´s tales.

| This was a swell first episode, and it contains some darker ov ertones which I really hope go somewhere. I absoultely love this story, and even after seeing the cruely of it in Sailor Moon, I just have a new appreciation for it. This anime could go in a very adult direction (re: Hamelin), but then it could just get kiddy. So, we'll wait and see.
But the ED theme rocks.
