i do not now i f i like this or if i hate it .i have alot of mix feelings on this anime in one episode it has a good start in the second it became crap and stupid.

animation- well the animation was bad and very ugly for a anime made in 2005 i expected much better.the weapon s looked bad especially the pasa sword which didnt even look like a sword it looked more like a triangle.but the female cast were pretty and they looked cool when they died .

story- the story starts of were a brother and his sister get sent in a magical world problem is now they have to fight evil .the story has been done a million times and has never been done in such a crappy way.the story does not end the second episode explains nothingf and stops with him talking about how hes going to save his stupid sister and then it ends vcan you say crap ending.

characters- i dont like them and so i didnt remember any of thier names but i do remember there hair color. the only lkable character was the blue haired girl because she was pretty and she actually fought the girl with glasses wasnt bad either but she wasnt great.

value - for two episodes you cant expect much but ive seen anime done in three episodes and the first two were perfect ,but this anime failed.

Well I have to disagree with the previous review after seeing the first episode of Eien no Aseria. This series has some potential. The art is pleasant to the eye for a modern anime though somewhat simple in design.

Basic story. A boy named Yuuto inherits mysterious sword from another world. The sword is called Mosome.

On the anniversary of his parents' death he and his sister Kaori are transported to this other world to fulfill the sword's 'contract'. A person contracted to wield the sword is called an Etorange.

Apparently in this other world, the 'spirits' fight the battles although they look just like human females. Some of them have magic powers and some are just warriors.

Aseria seems to be a warrior spirit type except she has wings. They look cool, but I've never seen her use them to fly yet.

A lot of things are still left unexplained like exactly what Mosome is, and why it needs 'mana'. It appears to me that when the spirits die their energy disappears so maybe killing spirits harvests mana.

Because in the first episode Yuuto's mission is to protect an ether conversion facility. Perhaps the mana collected is used for the country's military power?

Make no mistake this story is pure fantasy. If you cannot accept the fiction of being taken to another world then you probably won't enjoy this anime. But I bet most of you will find the idea intriguing.

Give this anime a chance. I think the first episode presents a lot of questions that will hopefully be explained later.

I've only seen the first episode and I'm not sure how many are to come, but if this was a game, I don't think it's transferred over very well into an animated version.

Basically, the first episode is about a teenager, his younger sister and some other guy getting transported to another world. There the main character wakes up and is forced to take a sword that wants manna (it talks... and glows) or his sister will be harmed. So he does, and shortly after has to fight some people... even though he has no idea what's going on or for what he's fighting. Great plan, that one.

There are some interesting elements in the plot so far, but over all I found the first episode sort of boring, with the fight scene being very straight forward.

I do know that I should never judge a series on the first episode, so I'll edit my review once I've seen more.
