| This is another classic of my childhood. It is different from all the other series because it takes place beneath the sea in a submarine. The crew have to stop alien invaders and protect the earth at all costs. this series is serious. You see real action as it appears in the movie.It adds suspense when the captain of the crew needs to make the right decision to repel the alien forces. Usually in the last second or purely by chance they manage to outwit the enemy.
Animation was very good for the time it was made. The submarine gliding under the sea is well done. Most of the characters are also good develeloped. The sound keeps up with the other standards and is satisfying.
Overall this is one of the classic vintage animes and should not be missed. Unfortunately I didnt watch many episodes and in chronological order. I wish I had though and I would have rated it higher
