| Ich bin ein großer Fan von Kaleido Star und hatte von der Serie bis zu den OVAs riesige Freude an diesem Anime. Logischerweise habe ich mich auch auf diese Episode gefreut, auch im Wissen das es sich nicht um eine Fortsetzung der Story handelt. Diese Episode ist im Großen und Ganzen nichts anderes als eine kleine Comedy-Show mit einigen Figuren aus der Serie im (zugegeben recht ungewohnten) SD-Chibi-Look. Ist zwar alles recht süß und frohherzig ausgefallen aber irgendwie hat "Good Dayo! Go~od!!" meinen Nerv nicht ganz getroffen und selbst als Kaleido Star-Liebhaber muss ich sagen das ich mir von dieser OVA entschieden mehr Unterhaltung versprochen hatte. Der etwas eigenwillig anmutende CG-Animationsstil hat mich nicht unbedingt angesprochen und wirkte auf Dauer einfach viel zu befremdlich auf mich. Die Comedy ist für meinen Geschmack auf einer zu kindischen Ebene gehalten und gelegentlich ziemlich albern ausgefallen. So lief "Good Dayo! Go~od!!" ziemlich unauffällig und trocken an mir vorbei ohne das ich am Ende auch nur im Ansatz spürte das diese OVA mir irgendetwas gebracht hat. Sie wirkt im Vergleich mit der Serie und den anderen OVAs wie ein unförmiger Fremdkörper der nichts von dem bietet was ich an Kaleido Star schätze. Wäre ich kein Fan von Kaleido Star würde ich jetzt wohl so was wie "Nur für Fans" sagen, aber ich BIN ein Fan und deshalb gehe ich davon aus das diese OVA dazu in der Lage ist selbst den größten Fanatiker zu enttäuschen. Deshalb gebe ich abschließend den Rat das man von „Good Dayo! Go~od!!" nicht allzu viel erwarten sollte.

| Pretty much a fanservice feast for Kaleido Star fans.
The animation is incredibly top notch done in a CG style and the overall production value of the show is quite high since it's an OVA.
The music and the rest of the elements such as the original seiyuu all make it here, and it works very nicely.
Though being somewhat deviant of what the two Kaleido Star seasons were (in terms of sports-anime style drama), the cutesy antics we get here is surely different, but it's still very fun.
I felt that the original series could have had more cute little moments and this OVA makes it up in spades. You probably don't even need to be a fan of the show to enjoy it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants something cute and lighthearted for a change.

| First of all, I'd like to say that I haven't seen the whole series before watching this OVA. But what I've seen of "Kaleido Star" I liked.
Having said that, this OVA really doesn't add anything to the storyline of the series. It's just a little silly thing for laughs.
I think if you're a big fan of Kaleido Star you'll enjoy it. But even so, it's not that great. Mostly reminds me of "Cosplay Complex" in about how much value you get out of it.
Bottom line is, I suppose watch it if you're a fan of the series, but don't expect great insight or deep enjoyment.
