| Simple design on this manga, sometimes it gets annoying. Other than that, one of the best mangas ive ever read.

| Ouran High School Host Club is my favorite anime, so I decided to read the manga for fun.
The designs are colorful, but the character animations bugged me in the manga. I don't know why, but they didn't feel the same as the anime.
The story starts off with Fujioka Haruhi. He is poor and goes to a very rich school, full of other rich people. Then one day (when he was trying to find a place to study) he accidentally breaks a 8 million yen vase that belonged to the host club. The host club is a place where guys serve female guests. The members of the host club make Haruhi into a host to pay back the money she owes them. At the end of the first episode, we find out that Haruhi is a GIRL!!! I loved the story and thought of it as something new and unoriginal.
:Just took that from my anime review, because the stories are the same:
Haruhi - a girl who doesn't seem interested in girl stuff, but doesn't mind looking like a guy.
Tamaki - The king of the host club. He's kind of stupid, but that's what makes him
really funny. He can be really sensitive on some episodes.
Kyouya - Smart and scary. Can manipulate anyone into doing anything with his advance police squad.
Mori - Really quiet, but really strong.
Hunny - The cute and energetic one, also the oldest in the host club. But if you make him really mad, he can go into berserk mode.
Hikaru and Kaoru - They're twins and have been together for the rest of their lives. They don't make friends east until they join the host club.
OVERALL: The characters are fantastic in every way.

The anime of Ouran High School Host Club follows the manga really closely. So if you already watched Ouran High School Host Club, you probably don't need to read the first few volumes of the manga.

| I'm not really into the whole cross-dressing manga thing, but this really isn't about that. Basically, Haruhi is a girl who is yes, prefers to wear a guys clothes, but is forced to kind of because she is in debt to the richest people in her high school: the Host Club. I like it how she brings each of them ( the guys she's in debt to) down into reality from their money filled fairytales. I's a wonderful manga.

| I read tons of manga (I have maybe 40 current titles I'm following) and this is one title that I eagerly look forward to each release (English language release by Viz; Shojo Beat titles).
It's funny, entertaining, zany and filled with some really adoreable characters ^_^

| Are you fucking kidden me?! How can anyone have not read or reveiwed ouran host club?! This istantly became one of my fav. mangas. To start off...
The art in their breathtaking. Well....at least for me. Why? It's because it distinguishes a mangakas' own style. There are a bunch of mangakas out there who sometimes draw exactly the same that i mistake them for each others' work. Host club however has it's very own unique style.
The story. Well, let's keep it at the cliche, "You have to pay us with your body!" sort of thing. Haruhi, the heroine, broke an 80,000 dollor vase while in their club, so of course they'd make her work for it. It seemed pretty obivious the minute she broke thing. But, throughout the story as time progresses, you get to see more of the host club and how life is for them. Same goes for Haruhi. There are times when it seems like this manga is on crack and times when it has its sweet romantinc moments.
The characters.
The character by far are the best. Each and everyone of them is so unique that they're loveable.
MY favs are (the twins) Hitachiin Hikaru and Kaoru. Those two are so...Keeeeyoot! I absoulutely adore them. They have me laughing so hard that i think i sometimes will fall over and die. There are also times when the have me drooling immensly over them. Especially the times when they are affectionate with each other in front of their custumors (who all by the way LOVE it.)
Tamaki is also another one of my favorites. He's the type who'll make you fall off your chair, only you won't be able to get up for a while. lol.
His personality is really, REALLY cute. He's the king of the host club and also the richest. At first, i thought he'd be the cruel prejudice type, since Haruhi is of a lower class than them, but instead, he really caught me off guard. He's actually kind-hearted inside and out, but also lacking a bit in the common sense area. He does however have a HUGE ego. Not to mention sensitive too.
I instantly fell for Tamaki the minute he fell for Haruhi (without knowing it of course...and i mean him not me).
The way he vied to get her attention was all too cute. It made me laugh like a maniac...alot.
Value. BUY IT. That's all i have to say. I already purchase 4 volumes and i'm waiting for the fifth one to come out. Also, i've read all four volumes again a dozen times! And i'm not kidding either!
Enjoyment. Did i mention that this manga was gut-wrenchingly funny? If you don't read this and you're not laughing then....there's seriously something wrong with you dude. Also, there are many sweet moments (as to be expected of a shoujo manga) that'll make you go, "Awww" or "Oooooh!" Yeah, that kind of stuff.
Seriously think about buying this folks if you want a good laugh. You won't be wasting your time.
Also, i heard from my friend who went ot japan for a week that they animated this manga into a show.
I eagerly waiting for this to come out on fansub soon.
Ack! Can't wait any longer!
